Roleplay Styles As Prefixes?

Dugym

There are no more Simple, Casual, and Detailed prefixes. Prefixes exist in some boards. You could get rid of the following sections in Hosted Projects and Thread Roleplays: One on One, Dice, Nation Building, The Colosseum, and The Quest Log. Then, you can add those as prefixes in the Fandom, Fantasy, Realistic, and Futuristic boards. Group would be one of the prefixes.

If I remember correctly, users used to have to place their Dice, Quest Logs, and Nation Building threads within the genre forums.  Because there was a higher demand, the staff decided to create their own separate forums.

Additionally, because hosted projects run on a completely different format, they cannot be integrated into the regular thread forums.

They could have prefixes.

It still wouldn't work. Hosted projects show up with pictures and summaries when they are listed and that is not something that they are capable of changing. Because they show up in a much different manner when listed in a forum, they cannot be mixed in with regular threads.

It is literally not possible with the software.

That's not what I am saying at all. They could just have a tag that could say "Quest Log" or "Group" or something.

We've found that it's easier for users to find RPs when they're grouped by section, so that's what we're sticking with.  When everything is in one gi-normous section, there's a lot of things for them to wade through and new users in particular get confused and frustrated, and that's not what we want at all.

Quest Log, Nation Building, Dice and One x One while not genres, are a style of RPing popular enough to belong with the genres side by side.
