Hi! I'm new to this site so I apologize if my formatting is off! I'm looking for a roleplay with a character of mine I deeply love, and we can make a plot together. I used to roleplay back in the day but haven't touched it in awhile. I'm semi lit to literate. ^^
I'm gonna keep most of his backstory and self a mystery- unless in chat you ask for it!
His name is Maiasi Kan. He is a faery prince of the Kan Court, aesthetically he isn't typical fancy prince- but instead, very forest like, raw, princess mononoke esque aesthetics. I have rough

I write my faeries as accurate fae, but I add in filipino and chinese influence as well. With that being said, the fae realm is a shifting labyrinth of horrors, not always a whimsical land. With faeries, they cannot lie, but they are tricky. Don't say thank you, give a nickname instead of your true name, don't make a deal, don't eat faery food, don't dance, don't step in a faery circle.
Maia is written this way. He cannot lie, but he is tricky on how he phrases things, and doesn't answer questions. He isn't morally good, he operates on another moral system. He isn't meant to be a morally good character- but he is not terrible, either. He isn't those abusive, misogynistic faery princes you find on booktok. He's actually a trans man too. He will never be written as abusive, simply morally questionable and gray.
He is a gentle, kind, earthy person, and strongly devoted- and he is also traumatized, passive aggressive, morally grey. All exist at once with him! He also does not always present as fae. His exterior self appears to be a fantasy race I made (naik), people with antlers and tails, and he guards the Layan mountains.
I can provide more details, but sometimes the mystery is fun to reveal throughout roleplay.
Whether we do romance or family, its important to me to have an exterior, engaging plot. This is fantasy! Let's have conflict and adventure outside of the characters too!
If we do romance, any pairing works, he's bi. We can come up with a plot together.
For family, I am specifically looking for someone to play a younger sibling to him, so also fae royalty. I would tell you much more of Maia's lore and I have a loose plot for this one to tell you. Basically, siblings reuniting after trauma.
