Plot 1 - The Trials and Trepidations of Becoming Invisible
modern/gang/enemiestolovers/romance/slowburn/forcedproximity/bodyguard
Character A grew up in one of the most notorious gang families in the country, but he has always been considered "too soft". Not his punches but his heightened empathy with people around him. Very early in his life, he decides to cut ties with his family, and because his father always considered him a failure, he lets it slide. However, the problem arises that his past seems to find him wherever he tries to go, and his old life latches onto him like a siren dragging a sailor into the ocean's cold depths. He keeps having to move around areas to start anew, and in the second place he goes, he ends up so severely beaten up that his father can't take the embarrassment.
He hires one of his best men, Character B, to keep an eye on him. They are similar ages, so he can pose like a roommate that follows him around wherever he goes. Character A initially hates this arrangement, feeling like he hadn't slipped out of his family's grasp. Character B is not exactly thrilled to be a babysitter either, but it's good money - money he desperately needs.

Plot 2 - The Necromancer's Secrets
HighFantasy/necromancer/magic/mentor/romance/mystery/(optionalhorror)
Nearly every person is born with different types of magic: fire, earth, light, animal handling.... and many more variations. When a child manifests their magic, it often determines what you will be doing in society; healers will become Doctors, and telepaths will become scholars. However, one type of magic is scarce and always labelled with a terrible stigma; necromancy. Speaking and communicating with the death is seen as 'evil magic', and only a few nobles will sometimes sneak away to contact necromancers if they wish to speak to a loved one who passed or to solve a mystery. There are only about 2 or 3 necromancers in every generation, and nobody would wish for the role...
However, Character A, who has always been a bright kid with a ton of friends, one day starts to be contacted by the dead. He and his entire family panic, and there seem to be no necromancers in the nearby area; the closest one is Character B, who lives off in a deserted area a week's travel away. Character A is overwhelmed by his powers, though, and decides to venture out to meet with Character B in hopes that he will mentor him to learn about his abilities.
Character B is different from what he would expect. Unlike the sombre, mysterious hermit he had expected, he was smiling, energetic and maybe a tad mad from being alone too long with only the dead for company.
