As mentioned it is deadline day ! To those with completed CSes, it will be a delight to look those over later today. Very grateful to see there is not a lot of applications for the same role as that makes my life a lot easier when it comes to decisions. Those that are not yet complete by deadline of course are free to work away at their own pace, just remember to @ the shit out of me when completed so I do not miss it.

Hi, I got a question concerning my app for the Agnate, albeit I think it's kind of a dumb one concerning the Agnate role orz

Did Captain Lexis get his surname from his dad or his mom? I assumed that the Agnate was going to be related to his dad based on the definition of the word (unless I was thinking too hard on that), but I might my character's name if it's the other way around.

Question about Antares: Did it descend pretty quickly into it's current state after the Red Baron took over, or was it already getting pretty unstable before that?

I ask because I was considering that my explorer's family might have made their initial fortune shipping goods out of Antares when it was still a (fairly) respectable port, then moved away to Zenith and began to diversity their business interests after the Red Baron took over the city. But if it was already becoming a hive of scum/villainy then my timeline might not make as much sense with when I'm aligning his family history and what not

Since Antares has always been a port to serve as a bit of a layover for ships, I would say the party-oriented culture has always been present, but not the level of violence or indulgence as seen now. The dovetail into crime and lawlessness would have been a rather abrupt change once the Baron inhabited it.

aaaaaah I'm an idiot and didn't see you had multiple character tabs, my bad! I've really done minimal development beyond naming her at this point, so I'm totally happy to change her up if you would prefer to have the only cook in the kitchen!

It does kinda seem like aurelian might need a friend though (or at least someone in his life with minimal ulterior motives!), so I would be happy to provide him one in Lara! She's a bit frosty at first, but I was thinking I was going to mark her down as 'was totally on the ship the whole time and is only just now becoming interested in interacting with the rest of these fools' so maybe they would have already bonded a bit, or at least are not wary of each other. Let me know!
