Is there another passageway that connects further south (or aft) from the mess deck to the bearmen group? Just wondering if there’s another way we could engage (I.e. from behind them, or further aft) apart from sticking our necks out in the middle of their ongoing firefight.

There are two other entrances to the room. One leads to a busy kitchen, but you don't know how many exits there may be that way. The other opening is on the opposite side of the room from the hall with the shoot-out going on. If you move quick, you can probably go out there and circle around to come up from behind the group with the Cyclone and the Bearman. It will take a full melee round for a person to go around to come up from behind like that.

A quick note for Red Shadow Claws and his Spherian. You are currently wearing your CVR-3 armor as your standard flight suit/armor, and it does not have the same ability you do of being immune to laser fire. If you get into the fight without taking it off first, the armor will take damage first before getting blasted off and letting you absorb the next set of laser blasts.

You can do so, but it will have to wait until your next action. Don't forget; your Power Punch uses up two actions per swing.

It sounds like the Cyclone pilot, Bearman and the two guys with them are the bad guys, and they are shooting at the guards at the elevators. Right now, Pyrrah and Bishop are circling around behind them.

Sherwood , what ever happened to the EP-37 that the Bearman was toting? Is it still there?

Once the new round starts, you'll be able to see that the heavy rifle is on the floor next to the Bearman, but you won't know that until Pyrrah makes it around the corner on her action.
