Alexander Ramsey & Vivianne Oswald

"Viv, what are you doing? Come on, let's hit the road!"
Alexander rapped on the door impatiently. After looking down at his watch and shifting on his feet a few times, he opened the door and let himself in. "Hi Aunt Jen," he waved to Vivianne's mother. The woman waved a hand at him and replied as she put her mug down on the dining room table. "Hi Alex. Vivianne's upstairs doing Lord-knows-what. I told her to be ready on time, but you know how she is..." The woman smiled and rolled her eyes before returning to her coffee and newspaper. Alex chuckled before heading for the staircase.

Much to his dismay, Alex found his cousin staring intensely at...two pairs of boots. "Hm, which one do you think I should wear? The grey ones are warmer, and we're going to a ski lodge. But the black ones match my coat..." Alex slapped his hand to his forehead. "This is what you've been doing for the past hour? Have you even packed?" he asked incredulously. The young man groaned. Honestly, he wondered if Vivianne had any sense of urgency. Luckily, he noticed two small suitcases sitting beside the door. Thank goodness. "You're lucky we're related. Otherwise, I would have left you behind already," Alex told his cousin. Vivianne made a pouty face. "Now that's just rude," she said. The girl zipped up the black boots and picked the grey ones up. She picked up the handle of a suitcase and looked back at Alex expectantly. He sighed and followed the petite girl, picking up the larger suitcase of the two and walking down the stairs behind her.

After everything was loaded in the trunk of Alex's car and they said goodbye to Vivianne's mom, the two cousins started the drive. Vivianne was excited, although she was never one for showing an extreme amount of emotion. Alex, on the other hand, was slightly nervous. What if this reunion was a bad idea? Although he had been a generally accepted guy at school, that didn't mean he was on friendly terms with absolutely everyone. There were a couple of guys and girls he'd rather not think about. "Well I don't know about you, but I'm looking forward to seeing SJ again," Vivianne said, breaking the silence. Alex looked over at his cousin. "Get your feet off the dash," he told her, giving the closest boot a gentle shove. Vivianne rolled her eyes but did as she was told before sending a text to Savannah.

Savannah Johnson & Maxwell Johnson

"Oh my god! And I thought it took me a long time to get ready." Savannah laughed as Maxwell was talking to her from downstairs. She rolled her eyes while making sure that she had everything that she needed. After a quick checklist, she grabbed her four bags and took them all down the stairs, where Maxwell had his bags. "Whew. Some brother you are." She snickered towards him then made her way into the kitchen. "Want breakfast?" She asked as Maxwell groaned. "We don't have time for breakfast."

Her phone chimed as she squealed that Vivianne had just sent her a text. "What?" Maxwell said as he eyed Savannah. "They're on their way." She squealed again while typing a message of her own. Maxwell shook his head at her sister then walked away while staring out of the window, arms folded over his muscular chest.

To: Vivi

Can't wait to see you either, Chica~! So excited for this trip. Been too long.

She sent the message towards Vivi then went over to her brother and leaned against the wall beside him. "You okay?" She asked him as he did nothing but nodded his head. "You get to see your girlfriend." She made smooching noises towards him as he chuckled and shook his head. "Oh, little sister. You are too much for me." Maxwell eyed her and hugged her as he seen a car pulling up. "Oh, they're here." Savannah pushed herself out of her brother's embrace and rushed to the door, bursting it open and running out to give Vivianne a big hug before she could even get out of the car.

Savannah squealed loudly then eyed Alex. "Hey there, Alex. Bags are inside." She said towards him then looked back at Vivianne. "Oh my gosh! Girl, tell me everything. How have you been?" She asked while waiting on a reply. "Oh, Maxwell, grab my scrapbook!" She shouted.

Alexander Ramsey & Vivianne Oswald

"Now remember, SJ is really outgoing, so she won't hesitate to talk to you or act friendly around really anyone. But don't feel intimidated, and try to continue the conversation so she doesn't have to do all the talking. Savannah is really intelligent, so she enjoys a good intellectual conversation,"
Vivianne reminded Alex as they pulled into the Johnson driveway. "Um, why are you telling me this? I mean maybe I don't know her like you do, but I have met her before." Alex replied to his cousin. "Oh, just...you know...thought you might need some pointers or something. Just in case." Alex gave Vivianne a look, but the brunette was already focused on the house at the end of the driveway. She waved as she saw her friend's face and unbuckled her seat belt before the car rolled to a stop. Vivianne was never one for expressing much excitement, but she couldn't resist a small squeal and a wide grin as she was promptly embraced by Savannah.

"Oh my gosh, I can't believe we're actually here!" Vivianne cried, hugging Savannah tightly. "It's been waaay too long! I mean, there's so much we have to catch up on. The guys are going to wish they never brought us along," she whispered, knowing that at least Alex didn't mind showing his annoyance for Vivianne's quirks and habits every now and then. Vivianne glanced over at Maxwell and gave him a small smile. "Hey MJ, how's it going?" she asked politely, though she didn't wait long for an answer before turning back to chat with Savannah.

"Hi, long time no see. Maxwell, right?" Alex stuck his hand out to shake with Maxwell. Although Alex didn't know either of the Johnsons as well as Vivianne did, he was pretty sure he had met MJ before. "Looks like this may be a long ride," he said with a chuckle as he glanced over at the two excited girls. He waved at Savannah and turned back to Maxwell. "Is that your car?" he asked, pointing to the vehicle parked on the side of the driveway. If there was one thing guys could talk about without feeling awkward, it had to be cars, Alex figured.
