Olivia took her room mates outstretched hand and gave it a friendly shake. She took in Chrissy's smile and sociable demeanor and did her best to reciprocate. "Chrissy," she repeated out loud in order to commit her preferred name to memory, "it's great to officially meet you." Nothing about Chrissy's outward appearance hinted at possible powers or abilities, but Olivia would have to postpone asking about it as an unfamiliar voice greeted them. She turned her attention to the two female students approaching them. Her hand shot up to cover her mouth in an attempt to restrain a surprised gasp. She watched with fascination clearly displayed in her wide eyes as Florence's face shifted like waves of water to resemble Shou.

A big grin spread across Olivia's face as Florence mentioned dancing. "I'd love to practice with you some time," she said with excitement ringing in her voice, "I'm Olivia by the way. It's a pleasure to meet both of you!" The idea of having friends in higher years seemed like a good idea to Olivia. She hoped she was making a good impression on all these new people. Before she could dwell on the thought any longer people slowly started to disappear into the lab and before she knew it she was standing inches away from the door. The distraction of conversation could no longer suppress the knot growing in her chest. Just before she thought she was going to burst with anticipation the door swung open and her name was called.

"Uh Hello," she said nervously as she stepped into the laboratory. The room reeked of disinfectant and the cold air raised goosebumps on Olivia's arms. She hopped up onto the parchment covered surface and slowly reclined until she was staring into the white lights above her. Doctor Lerkelashvor and a team of nurses quickly swarmed around her and began the testing process. Olivia tried her best to force the anxiety from her mind and replace it with curiosity and wonder. She watched with admiration as Doctor Lerkelashvor's hands moved fluidly through each step of the process. Olivia had always been intrigued by science and she had a lot of respect for Doctor Lerkelashvor for it must have taken years to master all the complexities of her job. After the test was over, Olivia was quickly guided out of the room and another student was ushered in.

Olivia took a moment to regain her composure after all the poking and prodding by smoothing down her blazer and carefully tucking her hair behind her ears. As she scanned the students that remained near the lab she wondered if her future partner could be standing before her. She pushed the thought away as it would just cause her more anxiety. She lingered near the lab for a little while longer contemplating if she should just head back to her dorm and get ready for bed. That's what her parents would want her to do, but Olivia found herself wanting to experience the night life of Riverview.

Shou remained silent throughout the wait, without a single ounce of attention given to what occured around her. Her mind was completely lost to her assessment of the day. Everything had turned upside down for her. She really needed to get some rest and recuperation right after this, away from the crowds, everything, just to sit in silence, watch the clouds go by, or peruse the books in the library. Anything to take her mind off the day. She needed to re-evaluate her actions, rework them, maybe slip into inactivity for the rest of her days. Her hand slipped into her pocket, now that Florence departed her side to have her registration completed. Her fingers brushed against what seemed to be a box. Pocky. That was right, she had bought them earlier and jammed them into her pocket and had forgotten all about it. Hopefully they were still in good condition. Especially after that training session in the Sim Room. She had to sharpen her mind more. She was getting very forgetful and very loose. She gritted her teeth and grinded them.

She was so lost to her thoughts, so encompassed by her mind's aimless ambling, that by the time she noticed that she had just been given a thorough examination, she had been ushered out of Dr. Lerkelashvor's lair. Dazed, confused, and honestly quite incensed at her lack of attention, she released her frustration with slamming a fist on the wall and leaving the compound. Had she wanted it, the school would've collapsed.

She stormed outside the main building, dark clouds lingering above her head, and seated herself at the steps, pulling out the Pocky. It was slightly dented and crushed, but nonetheless, the contents were still edible. She ripped open the top and examined it. All were intact but one. She pulled one out and started feasting, her eyes gazing into the distance, and further into her memories.

Speaking of skiving off, where was Yi? She didn't see him as part of the crowd earlier.

Once the crazed lady had finished testing upon Ilay, the boy left the room with nothing but a certified frown on his face as he slowly relaxed his tense body. He didn't have time to be annoyed nor angered at her while he was in the room, as he had been to concentrated on keeping his power from seeping out of his skin due to his emotions. It was beyond hard for the boy to do so, his eyes glaring into anything and anyone they came across. Lingeringly he noticed Vanessa and Zach, his only 'friends' at the school and with his board hanging down from his neck onto his chest; he found himself walking at their direction. Zach didn't know of his power, much like every other student at the school but the older boy did know that Ilay loathed all physical contact to the point were he would lock himself in his rooms for weeks if anyone dared to touch his skin.

Which was rarely. Though before the boy could reach his friends, his body came, unconsciously, into the field of Void that surrounded another boy, while avoiding a student rushing to the lab door when he was called. As if he got hit by a invisible truck, Ilay found himself flung over to the wall, landing with a loud bang. His eyes went wide with slight pain and utter surprise, feeling a throbbing pain at his left shoulder blade. Nearly everyone came to stare at the boy, some wondering if he got into a fight and one of them determined to 'help' him yet Ilay could feel his power seeping centimeter by centimeter away from him, making him warn the child using his board.

Come near me and I'll kill you myself.

Nadia was at best, amused due to the rather disrespectful students that graced these halls as she went on and did her job; helping the newer students by informing them about different things and the older ones to put their luggage in their rooms. She found the children adorable, especially the small girl that shyly asked her where the library was and nearly tripped trying to carry five boxes of what seemed like books in her fragile hands. She continued to do so until Nadia glanced at one of the few clocks on the wall, muttering to herself that Ilay should be done with his testing by now. Afraid that he would flip if some scientist touched him, she scurried of to the laboratory to see her son on the wall, worry etching into her face within seconds.

Walking quickly to the student which try to help him, she told the girl to walk into the line again. She wasn't worried much about her son as she was worried about the students if he didn't take control of his power soon enough. Scanning the crowd, she found the resource of what had happened. Ignatius. The boy had a power which he called the 'Void' and by the looks of it, it repelled her son all the way to the wall. After all, he was his power, it emitting from his body with or without his permission.

Her feet headed straight for her son, keeping eye contact with him while smiling slightly. "I don't believe I need to tell to take deep breaths and concentrated?" He rolled his eyes at his mother's remark before standing up, concentrating on controlling his emotions more than anything. His board had erased his last message to replace it with another.

Of course not.

Turning around, Nadia put her gaze on the 'culprit' of the incident with a polite smile, her eyes glancing at the boy to get all information she could from her memories of working on his file. "Ignatius Matias right? You should be careful with your Void, there are people who don't need to project their ability but have it naturally in their system, making it dangerous if they come in contact with it."

After his previous outburst, trying to keep his AXE HAND in line, nothing of note happened. It did feel a little strange that no one even looked in his direction when he had shouted down his own ability. Nonetheless it was both a blessing and a curse. As far as social standings go, he was a ghost, which was a curse to say the least. Frederick had no doubt whoever his roommate was, would treat him as if he were invisible. He wondered how they'd survive if his partner couldn't even bother to listen to what he says. What made it a blessing was that no one also seemed to care that he did something embarrassing to a degree. He waited in line for the testing without much incident.

When the girl in front of him entered the room, Frederick's knees turned to jelly at the thought of having another needles inserted into him. Even as a prospective Red Hood member, Frederick still had a little fear of needles. That knowledge did absolutely nothing to calm him down. He could feel his Axe Hand stirring awake but had kept it down this time, kept it down without having to scream "DOWN, AXE HAND!" in public.

The girl in front of him in the line seemed to have been guided out by an aide. She looked dazed and confused, then pissed, then punched the wall and then stormed away. He said nothing for fear of being that fist's victim. The aide had to call his name twice before he realized he was next in line for an examination.

Frederick entered the testing room to the lack of smell that was apparent to a very sterile environment. No doubt the clean was top notch or his olfactory senses died in way or another. Either way he was ushered to and fro before being strapped a testing bed. They already took precautions for the Axe Hand it seemed. He didn't want it to happen like last time where he unconsciously used his Axe Hand in the middle of testing and had to have his blood taken like 5 times before they decided an sedative was in order, then proceeded to go on with the tests and unceremoniously dump his body outside to which he would wake up hours later.

He kept his breathing even as the doctor went about the usual pre- "I'll inject you with this large assed needle" speech before slowly bringing down the needle to his arm. It was an agonizing 3 seconds of his life, but one he had pulled through without the help of sedatives or the Axe Hand. The rest of the procedures weren't bad, except for maybe the dead skin samples, that set him on edge as well but not like the needle poking did. The tests were done before he knew it and he had been ushered out the room and the next patient was called in, another girl it seemed.

Frederick's next order of business was seeing which dorm room he'd be assigned to this year, if it even changed to begin with. He strode straight from the labs to the cafeteria for some dinner of sorts. Well by dinner, it was the question of what his meager allowance could afford him. Even if he was the scion of an affluent family, they still gave him a smallish allowance per month.

After observing the people that just came in the room (and the weird water girl who strangely knew of his comportment), he stayed there silently, not wanting to be deranged. His patience would just get shorter if he spoke to people again....They were really bothersome, to him anyway. A woman suddenly opened the door and began calling people in, one by one, until the length was shortened considerably. Well, that was pretty fast, even in his petty standards. Like that, he carefully waited for his turn, putting his hands folded behind his back.

Dear god. It was the cat from the speech. It didn't surprise him in the least. Cats were always one to be more curious than others. Drake stared at her for a moment when came his turn, before being ushered in the naked room, white and clean. The sound of high heels ringing in his ears, along with the clattering of the ustensils He felt unnaturally jittery, trying to get comfortable in his environment. The last room he had seen with the same feel as this one was a hospital room, and really, he hated them to his core. He never felt quite accustomed in that sort of thing, like the smell of the strong disinfectant and detergent. As he lay down on the yellow looking parchment, and sighed, putting his palm against his forehead. After this, he would probably not want to be talked to for this rest of the day. Even though it would be painful, he will remain strong, he promised himself t3 years ago.

He felt very very naked after being tested, like if a stick was prodding him from all directions to get a feel of what he had. It just gave him a shiver, but no more. He walked out of the testing room, feeling more sullen than he did when he entered it. It did, however, spare him a conversation. His teeth were clenched together. Drake had a tight grip on his punctured arm, the pain flaring at first and subsiding moments afterwards. With a sigh of relief, he wrenched his hand from his arm. Good thing she didn't puncture his other arm....He patted his bandaged arm, wrapped tightly, like a sort of sleeve and walked away from the room, trying to get away from the place as fast as possible.

He began taking large breaths outside, his hands in his pockets, not wanting to return to the dorms, but to explore the academy as most as he could. It was better to know his surroundings than to be lost in this maze of buildings, wasn't it? His stomach rumbled. Then again, he was hungry. Drake wasn't thrilled that his blood test would decide his partner, as he didn't want one at all, so he didn't want to return to the dorms. Again, he had pretty much no choice. He walked towards the dorm and found his way back to his room, opening it again with one twist of his hand. Closing the door behind him, he strode right for his baggage, of which, he remembered, a cook had made him a lunch to eat if he ever got hungry.

Smiling as Christina gave her name, Florence nodded her head. "Of course Im interested in your name, Chrissykins." She said, already composing her a nickname, before turning to Olivia. "And yes, that would be wonderful, Olsi."

As she got to the front of the line, Flow turned to Shou and gave her an encoraging smile, before waving to her.

"Try not to murder anyone while you're out here by yourself, alright?"

The door infront of her opened and she stepped inside the room, walking sunnily upto the lab bench and perching ontop of it.

A look of consternation and confusion passed over the scientists faces as she looked up at them expectantly, both of them rather used to operating on humans; not beings composed of liquid.

"Dont worry, I had a chat about this with a teacher last year, about subsitutes and such. First a vial of blood, right?" As she spoke she pulled her finger off, dropping it into the vial with a splash, before growing another. "I know it looks like water, but it has my Deoxyribonucleic acid in it, don't worry."

"Next, hair-" She put her hands to her waterfall of hair, pulling a few 'strands' off, and handing them over.

She frowned slightly, then looked up to them both.

"Now, I cant help you with skin, because I dont have any. And well, I could make some fingerprints to give you, but I dont think it'd help you much. The doctors assured me just the two should be okay though, because rather than you having to extract dna from my 'blood', It's made out of it."

After a brief discussion she walked out of the room, looking over to see Shou just starting testing with a blank look on her face.

Leaving the room, she saw Olivia still waiting around, and walked over to her.

"Hullo again. Do you fancy having a mook about? I love a good mook. Maybe see who else is hanging around?"

She also saw a timid looking younger child she hadnt seen before, along with Nadia and a second slightly emotionless looking student, waving to them and introducing herself by name, before turning to the teacher.

"Oh, Hullo again Mrs-Proffessor Nadia! " She gave her customary curtsey again as she spoke.

Even though she'd only just met her, the teachers position as 'dorm-mother' for her year gave Florence the confidence to talk a little more casually in her presence. "We arent causing trouble this time, I swear!"

Ignatius gives the girl a slight nod as he gently grips her hand, and gives it a gentle shake. "I am sure you will be just fine Ingrid. The odds of anything bad happening during a professional, low-risk medical experiment by highly-qualified individuals is all but non-existent." Despite himself, his grey, unseeing gaze wanders over to the broom she has clutched so fervently. "And may I ask w-..." His train of thought is interrupted as he is addressed by a female voice.

Upon standing and giving Ingrid a polite nod, he turns and comes face-to-face with Nadia and... a younger boy he was not familiar with. He pauses, giving his head a slight tilt as he registers her words, this must have been happening before he retracted the Void back to his person. His eyes moving down to the boy, and it was the truth. His skin seemed much like that of the water girl's, though his aura was more in the place of armor where-as hers was inside her. Shimmering an Azure rippling color all down his person with streaks of it winding throughout his body like their own blood vessels and sending short bursts of energy down to the board on his chest. He nods slightly, shrinking in the Void field as much as he can before moving his eyes up to the woman.

"I apologize Miss, I did not intend to hurt your brother." he states sincerely, despite the utter lack of fluctuation in his tone. Giving her a slight bow of apology and once again shifting his gaze to the boy, studying his aura for a moment before sighing "Seems we are both bound and cursed as much as blessed with our abilities.... I would ask your personal forgiveness, it must have been an upsetting experience." He nods his head and looks back at Ingrid for a moment, nearly having forgotten her presence. "Ingrid? Would you like to take my place in line? I doubt I am particularly high on their priority list."

During all this, the Crystal Void at his feet had edged forward bit by bit, sensing the small confrontation going on and wanting to protect Ignatius if it became violent. Meanwhile, Dark Void worms it's way up his leg and simply bubbles there, ready to strike out in attack or defend Ignatius. At first, honestly the feeling was so natural Ignatius doesn't pay it any mind. However upon seeing the reactions to it he looks down and furrows his brow, suppressing it with a sigh.

Being told to wait was Lawrences least favorite things and tasks. He watched as each and every freak took to the inside of the door with a few minutes passing they would exit some in anger others in a sense of glee in order to be done with the task at hand. Occasionally sipping the can in hand gaining the much needed caffeine to oil his gears this early in the morning. As soon as he was finished sipping the brown potion of rejuvenation, Lawrence just dropped the can on the floor and left it for someone else to pick it up. Lawrence was finally up as a standard blood test with a simple drawing into a vial did not phase him. It was the time in the line that bothered him the most.

Passing by all his 'peers' on his way out he made his way to the main halls door the windows of the building splaying onto his clothing as he walked past them in his slow gait. The low grumble of his stomach from the emptiness of food. His right hand rose from his side continuing his stride down the hallway. Lawrence clenched his stomach in hand to try and silence the low growl. The door leading outside stood in his way and something that could sate his hungering body. With a turn to the side he smashed against the door with his hip shooting the door open in a loud thud. The sun above bled down upon him as the white stained his vision like coming out of a movie theater mid day. The high glow of white from the sun was replaced with the floating squiggles of purple and black that mediated between the color on his vision. Lawrence blinked a few times trying to rid him of the eye floaters. taking his right hand from his stomach he quickly pressed his thumb and index finger onto each eye and began to message his seeing sockets gently. Knocking out the eye crust from the sleep of last night a slight wave of refresh came over him.

Lawrence let out a small burp from the caffeine finally settling in from the coffee. With that he moved his hand into his pocket and brought out a little white square with a simple flick it unraveled into a map of the campus. His vision scanned every inch of it. Lawrence was known to have the worst sense of direction quite hopeless in finding his way. He would get lost going to places he had been countless times it was apart of his life long curse. Refolding the damn parchment with one hand and a chin seemed a difficult task as it took him a minute of struggle. Tucking the map back in his pocket he set off to the cafeteria his stomach roaring in a high pitched quake for all others to hear.

Lawrence's stomach began to consume all that was his tum tum. The sheer pain of being starved to death in these matter of minutes was unbearable. "grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrroooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr" The stomach sounded out as Lawrence bent to its whim hand clutching the tummy firmly in its grasp. "Im gonna die... Im gonna die." Lowering his head and shoulder like a snow plow Lawrence took to the walk ways with great force. Some people would dodge some people would move out of his way as his pace began panicked jog.

"ggggggggggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr." It cursed out at Lawrence for not feeding it. "Please please... I'm sorry i'll feed you..." He winced in pain that was the power of the tum tum.

He was almost there A small sign on the wall pointing to the cafeteria to direct students. Lawrence was home free this was it!

"Thwack!" a sound of shoulder colliding with flesh and bone sounded out as Lawrence began to take the momentum and create a small spin to stay up. It was a blonde boy close to his age... wait it was someone he knew. "Aw shit its Frederick." Both of their family's were prominent names in the Red Hoods. This kid... used to be his play date pal a couple times until Lawrence began to distance himself from the specials.

Please don't ask to catch up on old times... Oh man that would be awful.

"GGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!"

The edges of Lawrence's eyes began to fill with water as he wanted to die. He was hoping he could make this reunion quick or grab food, both were doable at this moment.

After just chucking his bag in the middle of his room, Reyna found himself in line with a few other students, some chatting. Of course, Reyna just stood there silently as some conversed, some visibly shook with what seemed like irritation, and others standing patiently. It didn't bug him, rather, it was more disturbing that there were so many people waiting for one thing, and this didn't exactly look like the whole school. After a woman began calling people in, Reyna found himself next in line.

Hearing some whispers on his way here about how terrible the exam was and how much it hurt, Reyna, for the first time, showed actual facial signs of worry. Although, this was so incredibly slight that no one had even noticed. After being called in to the naked white room, and being asked to lay down on the bed there, Reyna began to lie comfortably, almost as if he had done this all his life. After being prodded and poked, Reyna had asked for a band aid, and the woman (possibly being amused), handed him a bright pink band aid, which he rolled up his sleeves and stuck it on.

Leaving the room and out into the hall (after practically tripping over a can left lying about) Reyna headed straight to his dorm room.

Passing past Erin's room he reached out and lightly knocked on the door once, and continued walking, hoping he'd get the message. Entering his room, Reyna picked up his bag and walked towards one of the beds and threw the contents out. Raising his hand slightly, he was able to set all the objects into drawers and such within a matter of 5 seconds. "Perhaps a brighter side of my powers," he mused as he kicked off his brown dress shoes and laid down, closing his eyes.

Christina was relieved when her name was called. Not that she didn't like the people whose company she was partaking of, but she also didn't feel comfortable with that many people all buzzing around her. It took some will not to accidentally put them to sleep. The teen made her polite goodbyes, meekly walking into the lab and sitting down when instructed to do so. The testing went fine, it was not something she was unused to, and she had done it last year as well. Although she hadn't lied her partner for last year, and they had clashed horribly.

As she passed the boy who had shouted 'AXE HAND' earlier, she paused to give him an odd look before continuing on her way. Green eyes scanned for Olivia, lighting up as they spotted her, "Olivia!" Making her way over to the red head, she shyly tucked her hands behind her back, ignoring her inky mess of hair, "Would you want to walk with me back to our room?" Normally she didn't talk to people, but she liked the red head, she seemed nice and pleasant.

Attempting a smile, which turned out more meek then intended, she tilted her head at Olivia, "I mean, if you're waiting for someone, then I understand, I don't want to intrude after all." In the end, Christina knew next to nothing about her new roommate, and her energy didn't give anything about her away either. At least, nothing that would hint at powers of any kind. although if she was a dancer, then she would be quite strong and agile, maybe she was a regular human that the academy had accepted? She wouldn't ask of course, that wasn't her place.

Frederick had, like some days, gotten lost on his way to the cafeteria. He had decided to take his time making his way to the cafeteria at a deliberately slow pace to make him calm down a little bit. He wasn't keen on his Axe Hand acting up again and took steps to keep it that way. A little walk around the school grounds did wonders for him in the past and they would work wonders for him now. He could feel his tension slip away with each step. Although he had managed to stay calm during the operation, he was certainly near the brink of unconsciously activating his powers.

In truth, he hadn't been particularly hungry, but Frederick thought it better to have some early dinner and maybe call it a night earlier than expected. It wasn't as if he had made any new friends from the new comers and the upperclassmen like himself seemed to not notice him at all. It would be a socially dull year, or so he thought. He could hear footsteps coming from down the hallway of the cafeteria and decided it would be wise to make some room for the poor hungry fellow. No doubt a freshman who hadn't eaten a meal today. Even with Frederick moving out of the way, he was still hit by the person.

There wasn't even an apology attached to it. The younger batches seemed to like getting full of themselves it seems, but there wasn't really much someone like him could do about it. He could try to turn the minds of one or two at most, a group if he was lucky but still.

He was determined to not let this one go though. Of course, the boy spun around before Frederick could reach out and spin the boy himself, forcefully if I may add. The first thing that caught his attention was the boy's purplish irises, then a head of brown hair. Finally he heard the 'oh shit it's Frederick' part, there was no denying that this was Lawrence Kampbell, an old friend from simpler days. Frederick wasn't aware that his senior was attending this academy. Though it didn't come as much of a shock either, they were both from illustrious Red Hood families.

"Well, hello to you too Lawrence. Haven't seen you in a while, so why don't we catch up?"

It seemed like the proper thing to do for his senior.

"And not a soul to be seen, perfect. Alright my precious~ We have all the time in the world now..."

The campus grounds were almost empty, due to the ongoing examinations, Yi gleefully made his way towards a pair of birch trees, hidden behind the walls of the main building and far away from any windows. Alone, at last Yi unravelled his masterpiece onto the ground, and took a step back to admire the fruits of his labours. A hammock, but not just any ordinary one, it was one sewn together using purloined bedsheets from his unsuspecting peers. It was his magnum opus, his piece de resistance. He tied the ends to the trees and got in, and drifted off almost instantly.

How long had it been since the Monks had cast him out? One awry sparring match and bam, an eleven year old child is left to fend for himself in the wilds of China. The bearers of The Crimson God Fist were the pride of the Huang monastery and every single wielder for centuries had been pinnacles of their art during their time. Yi however, was the black sheep. From an early age he proved no genius, slow to learn and poor in power control, Yi lagged behind his fellow acolytes. There was constant talk of 'divine punishment and Yi found himself outcast and unwanted by all of the monastery. One fateful day, unable to take the segregation, lashed out during a sparring match with full strength, killing an innocent acolyte. From that point on, the Monks were convinced that Yi was naught but a herald of doom, and they exiled the young boy into the wilds.

Yi sighed as he stared up into the clouds, shunning the painful memories. The Order of the Red Hood, his saviours and benefactors was all that mattered now, he was his own man.

His reminiscence was cut short as Yi sensed a distant trace of chi advancing in his direction. He sat up quickly and tumbled out of the hammock in the process. Getting caught skipping out on testing was a big offence, and he wasn't about to let himself get caught. As the source of the Chi drew closer however, Yi groaned as he recognised who it belonged to. The pain of the fall suddenly seemed a lot less significant compared to the one he would be going through soon enough.

"Well hello there m'lady Shou, welcome to my humble abode."

Of course, Yi had chose to skive off and skip the examinations. As always. In fact, 'skipping' is a term anyone with a frontal lobe would associate immediately with the Chinese. As long as there was one absentee, one can be sure that absentee was nearly always him. Impressively, this young man had somehow managed to scrape through his previous years. Why shouldn't he? He was being mothered by a perfectionist who wanted to keep low herself. By shoving him forwards, everyone would be surprised at his achievements and rank her lower in their assessments of her.

Shou leaned on her palm, nibbling at the edge of her third Pocky stick, contemplating if she should go ahead and wake the lazy sod. After a long, resigned sigh, she stood up, brushing her trousers down. She took hold of her Pocky and bit down, slowly chewing the chocolate-dipped biscuit. She waited until the biscuit was thoroughly grinded before she swallowed and started around the school grounds, already having marked her destination in her mental map of the school. It wasn't long until she could see the niche that surely contained her 'friend', a word she used very loosely when referring to him. She knew he knew she was coming. Whether he knew she knew he knew was a different story. She had barely stepped into his self-made pseudo-comfort zone when she heard his natural drawl, one laced with characteristic laziness and despicable slothing around. A cruel, obfuscating tone, since this young man was, by far, the most impressive hand-to-hand combatant she had ever seen.

She leaned against one of the walls, scowling and her arms folded as her cold, steel eyes met his warm, jovial ones. Right there, anyone could see that one was the antithesis of the other. One's life saved by the Red Hoods, and the other's destroyed by the same, one who channeled emotions into power, and the other a husk of emotionlessness, one a perfectionist in every way, and the other....

"You're a lazy bum who wouldn't know the head from toe of a major school event even if I took it and rubbed it all over your face, and forced it down your throat." was Shou's way of a friendly greeting. As friendly as it gets anyway. "Before you even start, no, this is not an academical examination. If you were even paying the slightest bit of attention to the papers that were distributed months ago, you would know. Come on. Get up." Shou reached forwards and grabbed the grinning redhead by the collar and lifted him to his feet with nary an effort.

As conflicting as their personalities and their pasts were, this was the only time she could really express herself. Mostly her displeasure. The young man was an excellent sparring partner, and could easily match her acidity if he wanted in verbal terms. In terms of close-ranged combat partnering, even in her wish to be isolated, if she were to be given a partner, Yi was the one she would prefer over the rest.

@SirDurrHurrHurr

(Asdfg, step up the vitriol.)

As always, the cold-hearted fair maiden responded with her characteristic impatience and razor wit, one so sharp that it might have cut straight through the trees behind him had he not been in the way. Yi knew better though, she could burn him all she liked with her acidic words, but he knew she enjoyed his company, or at the very least the prospect of being able to talk down and beat up someone on a regular basis. He endured the torrent of abuse mainly because her results almost always topped the years in academic results and being the slovenly craven that he was, still needed a way to stop himself from being expelled. Her prowess in the sparring ring was unrivalled too, and any person who can knock him on his ass within seconds flat was someone deserving of respect. And though he would never admit it, he did enjoy the occasional moment when they weren't at each others throats, though such moments were of course a rarity.

Once she had finished her little sermon, she hoisted him to his feet with such force he almost fell over just from the pull. "Of course I read the damn notice, I'm not COMPLETELY illiterate, contrary to popular belief." he quipped, in a thinly veiled desperate attempt to save face. "Besides, I knew they'd have to set aside time to thaw you out so you wouldn't break all of their thermometers and syringe needles."

He sighed as he prepared for Shou to return fire with her significantly higher calibre insult-cannons, he knew that once these scathing skirmishes begun, there'd be no end till one of them caved, more often than not it would be him. However, lately Shou had begun to display unnerving signs, not in her speech or her demeanour, which while undoubtedly venomous, bore no malicious intent, as far as Yi could tell anyway. What had him perturbed was the way her chi was behaving, it hungered for something, it was restless, god forbid, excited even?

Whatever it was, Yi was better off not knowing, unless she was plotting some grisly demise for him, in which case he was infinitely better off not knowing about. In the meantime, as they walked back towards the building, the prospect of going for the examination got better by the second, if it meant them sticking a needle into him, would get rid of the one currently by his side.

After a moment of internal struggle, Olivia's mind was made up when Florence approached her and suggested they stay out for a little while longer. Before she could giggle at the term "mook about" there seemed to be a bit of commotion involving two students' powers reacting to each other. It had resulted in one student being helped off the ground by Professor Aurelius. Olivia craned her neck to catch a glimpse of what was happening before Florence struck up a conversation with the professor. Hearing her name being called Olivia wheeled around to see her room mate Chrissy heading her way.

"Hello again!" she said in a cheery tone. She was glad Chrissy found her again in all the chaos of testing. She had a lot of curiosity about this girl and she hoped they could spend some time getting to know each other. "Well we could head back," she said with a hint of apprehension, "but what do you think of heading to the cafeteria for a bite to eat first?"

(blah short post sorry. My second semester of college just started today so sorry if my activity drops a bit)

@Minnow @Krystael

Florence's face lit up as the girl suggested the trip, and she turned to the pair again having professed her innocence to the teacher.

"Hullo again, Chrissykins. You should totally come to the cafeteria with us. But, If you're wanting sleepytimes then we could walk back to your dorm with you, then go get food- Or just go to the dorms."

She glanced at Olivia for a moment, then put her arm around her shoulder, showing a level of comraderie you might expect from weeks knowing someone, rather than less than an hours worth of bonding time.

"You know, when I was a couple of years younger, around your age, I wouldve thought your red hair meant you were on fire and tried to put you out. But, it turns out humans just have red hair sometimes. Who knew, right?" She ruffled the younger girls hair slightly. "It's a very pretty colour, though, I love it. If I had that colouring it'd make me look like I was made out of fizzy pop, mind."

Stirring about after a rather short nap, Reyna sat up as he rubbed his eyes looking around. He had been asleep for maybe twenty minutes, a small cat nap. Deciding to eat lunch, Reyna slipped on his shoes and walked out of the dorm room, leaving the door completely open. Walking downstairs into the male common rooms and out into the halls, he had gotten many stares due to his completely sloppy dress shirt that was hanging on one side, and a fluttering butterfly that struggled to keep up with him.

Seeing a duo of two boys, one about his age and the other, he recognized one as the guy who kept shouting something about hands. Seeing as they were close to the cafeteria, and the awkward pose that the one with purple eyes had, Reyna naturally stopped in the middle of the hallway and watched them,as if they were supposed to be part of entertainment of sorts.

It had appeared that one male, the older, was in a hurry and had really not wanted to talk to the younger, someone with a rather calm and superior expression. Couldn't have made it more obvious, Reyna watched out of slight curiosity as the two appeared to be polar opposites. The pale insect eventually caught up to Reyna and landed on his head again, flapping it's wings out of frustration. "Sorry." Reyna replied to it, nonchalantly and as monotone as usual.

(Posted for the recently deceased Ineffectivd. His body may have ceased to exist, but his soul lives OOOOOONNNNN)

Shou snorted in something akin to a substitue for a laugh, or simply a sign of derision at the other Asian's comment with regards of his supposed literacy, and his witty quip about her, she supposed, her icy demeanour. She wouldn't disagree with him about that. She was very frosty, and extremely frigid. In fact, she did wonder, why had the needle penetrated her skin? She could simply have melted it the moment it touched her. Her constant reminiscing and distractions need to go. It was turning into a bad habit that made her incapable of focusing on the task at hand. Such as now.

Shou shook her head, and rubbed her temples. Yi's evaluation of her was indeed spot on: she needed stimulation, and she needed it in the only form she could accept it in: violence and destruction. Grinding her teeth, she grasped her scabbard and shifted it slightly, before returning Yi's quip, a forced grimace that should have been resembling a smile. It, instead, resembled a crooked rictus that presented itself in the nightmares of children. "Maybe so. But last I heard, they were looking to make your pain feel but just like a minute prick, so as to fit the size of your own." Her laugh was a menacing one, an unnatural, choked and harsh sound. She wondered if she should keep playing friends with this young man and that odd Waters girl. There would come a time where she would be against them. She was capable of locking away all her emotions when this time comes. She wasn't sure if they would be. She wasn't going to end the lives of those who did not fight their fullest. She wanted to spare them the agony of having their last duel with her. She bit her lower lip and began to lose herself to her own mind once more.

(STEP IT UP, TO 5000 SONICS PER SECOND. I WON'T STOP TO PARTY, BUT I WON'T STOP THE RP!)

Of course there was an unexpected spectator to their somewhat awkward reunion. He had seen an old friend who, most likely, intentionally cut off communication with him. It was a little bit obvious that Lawrence wouldn't want to see Frederick. Considering that significantly stupid stunt in the past even Frederick would want to avoid himself as well.

He hadn't noticed that his Axe Hand had been activated at the sight of an old friend and that those soul absorbing purple eyes. He could stare at them forever or drown in them. What Lawrence may lack in abilities and power, he makes up for in sheer charisma. It was as if he could follow Lawrence to Hell and back and not really think twice about it. Though that may be rooted more with respect and familiarity than anything else. Frederick looked up to the boy who could weather almost ANYTHING thrown at him.

The activation of his Axe Hand had made him pick up on a muttered "sorry" coming from nearby. It wasn't directed to the two of them but rather to something else. His senses unconsciously strained to get a better view of what it was their very light blue green haired spectator was apologizing to. It was nothing more than a white insect that landed on his hair and looked like it could easily blend in. Then a came a headache so sudden it felt like a train had dropped from the ceiling on to his head. He had been under the effects of the Axe Hand for quite some time and was hit by a corresponding penalty.

It forced him to stagger back a little while he kept rubbing and massaging his temples. He had been careless and paid the price. Frederick did try to attempt to wave at the new comer, it was the respectful thing to do after all, to acknowledge that someone was there.

Vanessa always seemed to be passive even if she knew chaos was unfurling upon the very present moment; her fingers never quaking and her eyes never flickering anxiously around the proximity while they watered with emotion coming forth through the sockets that held her abnormal eyeballs. The girl was indifferent towards stressful situations and naturally allowed the panic to build up inside her like an ocean with a calm surface, just before a storm. Billowing under the surface of her pallid skin was a sign of discomfort, or... fear. As she had guided an old friend down towards the labs, she seemed to be rather distracted as she tried anything to busy her steady hands with. However, there was little luck in seeking such a prize. There would be no "eureka!" today. She grumbled something under her lip, which now was held against its will by a single rather sharp tooth until dribbles of crimson streaked her near flawless chin. She frivolously lifted her hand and used the back of the flesh to wipe away the excess blood before her tongue flicked over the small puncture wound created by her tooth in her tender flesh. She carefully licked this spot now in hopes to ebb away the pain.

"Zach, I-I don't think I can do this..." she piped up, admitting that she was rather nervous to even enter the lab. Vanessa Chernikova had spent all of her life in a lab, being a test subject to a certain wretched man. She was born into a lab without a mother, without a father. Creation magic was one hell of a power. She was the polished version of his earlier testing and one of his last creations on earth. Vanessa appeared human, looked human, seemingly acted and reacted humanly. But she was still not a normal human. 'Testing' caused a ripple effect in her body, spindering a shudder down her spine. As Calla peeked out the door, wondering what was talking the next patient so long, she bore a look of sadness at Vanessa. Lerkelashvor knew full and well about her past.

"Come along, Vanessa. Take your time. Breathe." She came out of the lab and linked her arm gently with Nessa's, guiding her towards the lab. Vanessa's movements were reluctant at first and she hesitated just before the door before being grabbed in. The door indifferently closed behind her, blocking the view of her from the school. She thanked the thick door for concealing her in such a dire moment of desperation and fear. Vanessa was laid down on the small, uncomfortable bed and was quaking at this point, her finger nails puncturing through the thick plastic and fabric of the bed easily and with much force.

Fancy-line-1.gif

Calla couldn't help but be sympathetic towards the girl who had been created and tortured in a lab. She had such terrible experiences in them and Calla would never forget the whimpering of a little white haired girl in the corner of a tiny room with chairs and desk knocked over to block the path to her tiny body which was bloodied and bruised. Her hair was unevenly chopped and one of her eyes was cut up pretty bad. She looked closely at Vanessa's right eye now and quickly took notice of the faint scaring starting from the flesh above her eyebrow until just before her eyelid begun. She was one of Calla Lerkelashvor's first missions in Riverview. She was selected, along with two other students to follow the headmaster on a "dangerous" mission. This mission was to find and retrieve Vanessa Chernikova and bring her somewhere safe. Vanessa had blossomed into a independent, nearly fearless young woman with shockingly striking eyes that made you remember her face.

"Just do it and get it over with..." she heard Vanessa growl at her, knowing full and well that she was remembering the weak memories of the girl before her. Calla had almost forgot that Vanessa had a tendency to tap into people's thoughts. She scowled half heartedly and begun to rap the rubber band around her upper arm, extending the girl's arm as if it were fragile like glass. She took a swab with disinfection coated on the tip and begun to clean the spot where she would inject the needle tip.

Fancy-line-1.gif

Vanessa couldn't cease her involuntary quaking as Calla tediously worked at cleaning her flesh where the... needle was to be injected into her flesh and into her vein. Her lip begun to quiver now as the fear and anxiety built up. The pressure in the room begun to slowly inch up with each second that ticked by. However, just as she felt the needle tip touching the crook of her arm, triggered her to panic. She was lost in a state - a bad memory. "Stop it!" she screamed, shattered a glass door just to the right without meaning to. She didn't have a chance to watch Calla throw herself backwards in order to escape Vanessa"s deadly proximity before rolling out of the way of falling glass. One nurse panicked and ran out the doors in order to find the headmaster while another idiotic one came barrelling towards Vanessa, who was locked in a anxiety induced insanity.

"VANESSA!" she screamed and grabbed her arm before grabbing the other in order to restrain the girl. Calla let out a gurgle that sounded like "stop" but was silenced by the sound of another glass door shattering. A light above Vanessa's head flickered on and off constantly, her face beaded with a light sheen of sweat. She begun to struggle against the nurse, pleading for her to stop as tears spilled down her cheeks. It was just like old times. This caused distress to sprout in the pit of her stomach. She used the heel of her foot to drive into the nurse's shin, causing her to stumble back and fall. Vanessa was stronger than her. The girl whipped around, her wide eyes vast and distant. She gave off overly strong waves of power - surely to cause destruction if built up any further. Her fingers twitched as she begun to advance on the woman that tried to force her into submission. The nurse let out a monstrous screech before it was cut off abruptly. The whole time, Vanessa's hand circled elegantly as she controlled a slab of loose metal that was attached to the ceiling. This slab had came down at just the right time, slicing through bone, flesh, muscle and tendons that belong to the nurse. Blood spattered up Vanessa's white dress and all over the white lab. The nurse's unattached head rolled under a desk. Nessa's body begun to quake with anger and the overpowering moment drove her to cause more harm. The room begun to shake - or rather the base of the school slowly and surely leading up to the top of the floors of Riverview. She had never done this before. Never made a foundation of a large building move. Any items within the vicinity of the school bumped idly with the vibration.

Headmaster Iannes seemingly appeared within seconds, moving carefully around the outskirts of the room. He had shoved past students waiting to get tested just to enter the lab. He watched Vanessa, worry filling his while body. The only thing he could do was attempt to calm her. He begun to throw his arms and hands up into the arm, using his finger tips to draw things into the air. He pulled at the strings of perception and warped the reality around Vanessa to something that always made her happy. It was that beautiful crafted bridge in the forest. It was fall and the leaves were red and beautifully lush. They hadn't begun to fall yet.

Vanessa glanced around, her arms slowly dropping to her sides as she gazed around in awe and wonderment - her shattered eyes turning with her body as she took in the scene. Vanessa knew she had done something wrong. Very wrong. She took a deep breath and begun to calm herself down. She shut her arms and wrapped her slender arms around her agile body, nodding. "Okay..." she whispered.

"Okay."

Iannes halted the warping and hastily walked towards her, encasing the girl into his arms. He hugged her tightly.

"I should have been here... I knew better. I knew you hated needles... I didn't think you would have bad reactions to this," he grunted and his eyes travelled to the body of the nurse on the floor.

"Vanessa..." he sighed and looked at Calla, who was in the corner rocking with wide eyes.

"You scared my staff and killed a nurse... rough first day? You know what this means." He rubbed at his chin and grabbed a clean sheet that was on the floor, placing it over the woman's bloody body. Crimson seeped through the white sheets but at least if any students barged in, they wouldn't have to see it.

Vanessa Chernikova looked down at her feet, her gaze sad. She was exhausted and in pain.

"Come on, Nessa. Let's take you to the infirmary. Calla, call off testing for the day."

Vanessa took one step towards Iannes and collapsed to the floor. The headmaster was at her side in a second. He scooped her up and carried her out of the lab and though the parting students who watched in awe and shock.

(Man, this is pathetic, dramatic and overpowered but whatever. Needed some spice to this roleplay anyway. xD )

SAMUEL SKITTLE

"...I've reached the top and had to stop and that's what's botherin me~"

Samuel had arrived at Riverview Academy, his home for the past how many years he's spent training there. He had the most peculiar of abnormalities but that did not stop him from being and effective member of the student body. You see, his ability consists of turning into candy, well not his entire body but limbs and the like. A constant manifestation of his power would be his orange hair. It may look a little shiny and glittery but that's because its pure orange flavored sugar. Not dead follicles that make up normal hair. That's the one part of his power that he couldn't control.

It didn't bother him in the slightest that he had missed the Entrance Ceremony. What really felt like a pressing issue and really pressing since it looks like it was getting dark, was getting tested for compatibility and such. He had no idea what would wait for him if he did not get himself tested. No one has ever missed out on it and he wasn't keen on being the first one to find out just what happened. Despite the fact that he was literally running from the entrance to the academy, he was still pretty much singing as he ran. For other people, it could like material for a musical. One about the late student who gets to figure out what happens if he fails to arrive on testing and how would it affect his school life and the school. It would be a wondrously magical and sweet adventure revolving around a boy who could turn parts of his body into sweet sugary candy.

It stood to reason that the resident dentist (if there was even one) hates his guts and wishes Mr. Skittle went straight to hell. However, a boy like Mr. Samuel Skittle couldn't possibly go to hell, he would go to heaven and teach those heavenians his own kind of sweet delicious heaven.

His idle musings had dulled his sense of time and before he knew it, he was queuing up for testing in the labs. Such was the magic of his candy. He could sometimes lose himself in the sweet thoughts that his abnormality could periodically implanted on his mind. Yes, even his mind could turn into a sugary delight, though how he's still alive and rational after that still baffles even the Academy's researchers. The brain literally turns into candy, no electrical pulses or whatever sciency stuff you have there.

Samuel Skittle became a good boy and waited his turn to be tested.

They called him in and began doing their due processing of him. Though the lab was possibly facing difficulties in extracting a few of the necessary samples. Honestly, you'd think someone who had been a constant presence in the school for four years would have had some specially tailored genetic test for themselves, but such was school bureaucracy and processing. Everyone had to be the same and individuality was cut clean across the neck.

The needles did seem to elicit giggles from boy though, mad, sanity-straining giggles. He hadn't a care in the world and wouldn't have much even if his giggling and laughing would drive people insane. Honestly it may have something to do with being eaten alive and somehow finding pleasure in it, just a little bit. Yes the sugar courses through his veins don't give him much by way of pain as it acts as delicious feeling anesthetic.

"Now what to do with myself?"

He posed to the question to no one and everyone as he stepped out of the test lab, compliant with all the necessary requirements for his genetic testing or whatever. He pulled out lollipop from his pants pocket, unwrapped it and began sucking on it as he wandered the halls, weeing what there was to see. He was bound to run into someone familiar sooner or later.

Of course he wasn't bound to run into someone familiar as he hadn't even arrived at the testing venue yet. No, his ability had dulled his sense of time, true, but it had also dulled his physical senses as well. Which is to say that he was moving so very slowly, he just couldn't feel it. That entire scene of lining up, getting, tested and sucking on a lollipop had be fabricated by his sweet delicious mind. No wonder he felt a little odd while he was being tested. He felt too detached from the scene, there wasn't any hint of anxiety within him either, neither did it feel like he was actually going through the motions of the testing.

He was simply numb on the way to the testing venue and what shook him out of it was the knowledge and sensation of hitting the ground. He had lost his balance as the campus quaked and he was forced to the ground. Sammy stood up and dusted himself off and proceeded to head to the direction of the testing venue. It was as if nothing ever happened and he wasn't about to let anything wipe the smile off his face.

It stood to reason that he'd be going mad sooner or later, it wasn't as though anyone could stay sane at the knowledge that some people take bites out of you to make themselves feel better. You're getting eaten and the only way to regenerate was to devour varying forms of solidified sugar. Sammy was well aware of the fact that he was being eaten to boost the abilities of his allies while the inverse applied to him. Every missing piece chip away at his focus, every missing piece enervated him and while the candy would regenerate him, he still wouldn't be completely whole.

(My mind if finally free of derp and I was able to properly reread most of the other posts.)

Daedalus leapt out of bed, knowing how late he was. He threw on clothes and his glasses, not bothering to grab anything, his hair still a mess from his bed, and ran down the hall. He reached into his pocket, only to find his PDA with his map of the campus and his new schedule missing. He raced back to his room and dug through everything frantically, until finally he found it and threw it in his pocket, then quickly did something with his hair.

He raced back out and down the corridors, out into the corridors and looked down at his map. He didn't even know where to go at this point, his brain wasn't functioning properly this soon after he woke up. He randomly ran through the doors of one building and down a random halway, only to smash straight into someone and fall back on his back, his PDA flying out of his hand and smashing into the wall next to him, his glasses flying off.

He jumped up and grabbed his glasses, puting them on a little askew, and then gathered the pieces of his PDA. He started to use his powers to repair it, luckily the frame hadn't broken. Once he was done, he finally realized he had, in fact, smashed directly into someone. He stood up and put a hand on the back of his neck, blushing heavily and smiling, embarrassed.

"I am so so so sorry, I didn't see you there, and I woke up really really late, as you can tell. I'm sorry."

Suddenly, the whole of Riverview started shaking, and Daedalus fell down again, but maintain a firm hold on his PDA and glasses. He looked around, his eyes wild. This was so weird and creepy, he thought he was going to die or something. He had never been in an earthquake, but this seemed a bit extreme.

((I had no idea how to get him in otherwise, I was really behind and didn't feel like readin everything, will catch up by tonight.))

"Man. I hate this. But if this's good for my powers, I'll have to try then." Telios thinks to himself as he is walking though the gate and to the Entrance Hall. As he is going into the Academy, his headphones disappears.

"So the Academy doesn't allow headphones, huh?" He continue dragging his luggage and goes to the dorm.

"This should be ok." Telios chooses a room then unpack his belongings.

He goes out of his room, walking around the academy like he's having a tour. Suddenly the school started shaking, he tries to keep calm and leans onto the wall to keep his balance.

"What the heck is on with this school?!" Telios thinks. Then as sudden as the quake comes, it stops. He just pretends like nothing has happened and keep exploring the academy. A while later, near the lab, he spotted the spattered blood in it. He got panicked but tries to keep his face calm to avoid trouble as he started to walk back to his room.

Lawrence's left eyelid closed as his right eyes brow cocked up as the 'axe hand cometh.' His knuckled began to curl into a fist on sight of that heathenish power. The small pop of his boned as they gripped together in a tight ball. The bandages over his right hand pressed tightly round his straining hand cocking his elbow to his side. The arm began to recoil like a viper about to strike the hand raised quickly, Frederick would feel pain. As the flesh on his shoulder began to stretch back Lawrence sent the fist rocketing towards Frederick.

"GGGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRR"

"GAH!" Lawrence cried out as the fist died out into in open hand grabbing Fredericks collar. His knees buckled underneath him as the cramps from stomach pains destroyed his will to stay vertical. Tugging violently onto Fredericks shirt trying to stay afloat his knees slamming into the concrete. His face facing towards the ground covered by his hair to hide his shame. The stomach roared loudly in the halls.

"f-f-f-fooood..." Lawrence wisped angrily towards Frederick.

The stomach let out a low moan almost in agreement with its hosts need for sustenance. Knee's shaking Lawrence used Frederick's collar as an anchor to pull his heavy butt from the ground. "We... Eat... Now." With that Lawrences feet began to move as his nose tracked the nearest smell of cooking from the cafeteria. Like a prisoner in a locked collar he pulled his would be comrade along with him in his quest to survive.

Lawrence continued to walk still remembering their spectator. Maybe he needed something maybe he had food... maybe he wanted to kill Frederick these good things outweighed the fact the person could be annoying.

Letting out a loud sharp whistle like a master sounding for their dog. The high pitched sound crackled through the hall similar to a bells high chime reverberating off the walls. This was the only invitation he would give out.

(For Ineffectivd.)

The school moved. The school actually moved. A power so strong that it caused the school to move. How did she know this was a power, and not some earthquake? Simple. There were no seismic waves originating from any direction, other than from within the school. And who else could be channeling this sort of power but that girl. The girl whom Zachariah was so heads over heels in love with. The one that Iannes, the bloody old man, seemed to worship as his personal future war god. Shou left Yi's side, wordless, and uncaring if he followed or not, and even in the tremoring, she made her way to the laboratories at a full sprint. She bore a certain emotion in her eyes. Something that bordered on a wish to die and a wish to fight something that was so strong it caused the building to shift. She was ecstatic, excited, frightened and very, very much looking forwards to it.

She crashed through the laboratory doors and found herself face to face with Iannes. Almost immediately, her excitement faded into confusion, then anger and frustratiom as her eyes made a clear observation of the scene. Her expression turning hollow and her eyes empty, she reared her right fist back as if to punch the headmaster. Her fist connected with the door frame instead, cracking the woodwork slightly.

"You bloody geriatric. Don't you see what a monster she is? A beast, a destroyer, a bane to human life!" Shou spat at the floor, bile exuding with every word she spoke now. "Death has already occured, and an innocent one at that! That nurse," she pointed at the decapitated body, which was now being draped over by a sheet, "did not deserve to die. It's been four damned years in this establishment, and yet, you do not learn to control your own powers? A farce! Iannes, " she addressed the headmaster with respect, but with no honorifics, "why, why do you care for such a...a fiend like her?" She punched the door frame again. "Why are you caring for a monster that could kill? Why raise something that could ruin more lives, destroy more innocents? Why, Iannes?!" Each "why" was punctuated with a slam of her fist on the frame. The wall shuddered and a crack began running along the cementwork. Her last blow was delivered so strongly, the frame splintered entirely and parts of where her fist connected turned into dust. Blood seeped from her knuckle and her breathing was harsh and heavy as she stared down the headmaster.
