In the year 2103, the sciences of genetics and paleontology go hand in hand. Decades of greulling work and research have led to the first cloned dinosaur. It was kept and fed under sterilized conditions, given professionally cooked and tested food and isolated from anyone ill, even if they only had a cold. If you even sneezed, you stayed the hell away from the dino until you were cleared. The results were astounding. The dinosaur, a healthy Coelophysis bauri, survived for so long, it died of old age.
When it was alive, a sample of the dinosaur's skin was taken, and the DNA was used as the basis for more... ambitious projects.
And now, in 2103, and the island of Réunion is a breeding ground for the wave of cloned dinosaurs we have created over the past 58 years. A veritable neo-archaic ecosystem.

A group of scientists from the company who kick-started the paleogenetic trend, Twelho, has been dispatched to Réunion to monitor the activity of the dinosaurs for four months. They have all the necessary equipment, such as plentiful food, clothing and, if needed, weaponry.
