we should move on maybe?

Alright, that's everyone. Some of these people (including our illustrious GM) have been missing for a little over or under a week but that is not an excuse as the roleplay has been going on since before they went missing leaving them ample time to post. Most of them, however, were last seen either yesterday or today and yet seem to have forgotten about this roleplay. Quite possibly this is partially due to having too many people (some joining after the roleplay started!) and partially due to our GM being rather lax (and missing) when it comes to keeping everyone focused.
I have said it before and I'll say it again: Don't join (or start) an RP unless you're absolutely sure your schedule is clear and you won't disappear for over a week.
Actually, I had checked and when I saw the room list was created for the "dorms" and didn't see my character's name on it (which i checked for a few days and then took myself off notifications) I figured they wanted a smaller RP. So I didn't post because I didn't know I was still included. So before you say things like that maybe should have made it clear or asked the head of the roleplay to make it clear (but since you are taking charge I am calling you out) for everyone that they were still to post. Since I had no idea I was still part of it when the room list was created.Minma , Anaee , x_Tasia_X , Kryptic , GBP , Huntertabbysandshark3 , latitha , Unknown mask , Xcelgamer , Firelie , Snowcloud Dreamer , Robobo , BackSet , WindyC , PrincessAveRedfern , Nobody Special , JuniperBoi

I'm not gonna pull the what would my character do card but my guy is sleeping and his alarm is set to whenever the classes start. Also not to be offensive but this feels like Side Gaming but for role plays. You are entitled to your opinion but there are many other solutions. If you can't wait for a GM post then I believe that you don't need to be in this to (Again not trying to be rude just laying out the options) Aswell as what if something happened to them. What if a family member died. At that point, they are not entitled to say anything. Though again that would be preferred there are certain things people just Don't like to talk about.Minma , Anaee , x_Tasia_X , Kryptic , GBP , Huntertabbysandshark3 , latitha , Unknown mask , Xcelgamer , Firelie , Snowcloud Dreamer , Robobo , BackSet , WindyC , PrincessAveRedfern , Nobody Special , JuniperBoi

I'm still around! I can't say I blame people for slowing down in participation. It's a particularly hard hit when the GM of all people disappears-- makes it much harder to keep up that optimism to keep going. My post itself was a setup for an interaction with Japanime, who's character was my character's roommate, so I've been waiting for a reply there this whole time. While I completely agree with the statement you made at the end of your post, I'm going to hope and assume you aren't condemning participants for their sudden inactivity when in reality this roleplay had already begun to crumble once our GM never even made a post aside from the roleplay's introduction. If you are, however, ridiculing others, I feel it's completely unnecessary-- in the least rude way possible. Like kicking a dead horse. If anything, there's possibly only one person to blame here, and we still don't even know their situation or reason as to why they've suddenly become inactive.
Anyway, I think the best course of action here is to assume this roleplay is finished, and take your characters elsewhere or continue mini-threads with your characters (Which is what I'm assuming Snow, Tasia and Latitha are doing), or recycle them for another roleplay you may be interested in at some later point in time. Myouri is going back to the drawing board.
It was amazing seeing everyone's characters and reading posts while it lasted! You're all very creative people, hopefully we'll cross paths again in other roleplays as time moves forward. Thank you!
That makes sensewell I get that to and honestly I understand that things can come up from time to time in a person's life that are unexpected and/or are much more important then this, and that it's impossible to fully commit and I should clarify I didn't mean if your not 100% sure don't join. what I did mean though is, if you know you will get rather busy soon please hold off. I also meant that if things do get so busy latter on that you don't have the time or muse to post at least once a week with regularity, it would be nice if you'd let other people know you need to take a break so that those of us who aren't so busy aren't sitting around doing nothing while our chars are tied up waiting for a reply that's going to be a very long time coming. even a quick "sorry I gotta pause for a while" would be better then just ghosting us. Lest then I know to pause that thread and get my character involved with someone else who is more active until that person has time and muse to rp again. I'm not going to be upset at you for having a life, I just ask if it's going to get in the way of our rp let me know so I'm not eagerly waiting for something that could take weeks or months to happen, and instead park it on the back burner until your ready again.
I think you should move on. If they haven’t responded you have no obligation to wait.I have a quick question, what do you y’all think I should do if I’ve been waiting for my dorm mate to respond to our interaction but they haven’t? Should I just move on? I’ve been conflicted on this but I didn’t want to be rude..

Is this rp still alive? If so I'd get a post up!
That sounds alright for me, I just felt bad if I did end up moving on that I might offend them for not waiting.I feel you, it seems I'm in the same spot with my character.
how about we just start a new thread where our chars meet up. and if the people we where playing with come back then we can decide how we want to handle it.
