Our Headmistress prepared for battle
Age: 33
Gender: Female.
Orientation: Bisexual. Is known to flirt with ladies more commonly.
Race: Human
Class: Rogue- Specialized in espionage, and covert operations. Used few weapons, instead relying on her skills of persuasion to achieve her goals.
Preferred Weapon/Fighting Style Warrior and Rogues only!: When forced to fight, Zerath preferred twin swords, a dagger, and basic martial arts. "It's best to learn how to fight for every situation. For me, I would choose words over swords since a life can be spared with a word. Aior always doubted my tactics but I in turn proved him wrong."
Her Gift: The Blood.
Strengths: Zerath is an embodiment of pride for Joten, just his mere presence can shake even the mightiest warrior. While reaching the end of his prime, his skills as a master rogue can still prove invaluable. An expanse of knowledge regarding the Sun elves and special tactics. Finally, Zerath still maintains his physical strength from his prime making him still strong as an ox. "Someone's true strength is measured by their determination, and not just their raw talent."
Weaknesses: Zerath is at the end of his prime, age and past injuries are now catching up to him. Deep depression due to losing his friends. "Of course I miss my friends, the fact that I'm alive and not with them disgusts me. I'm not getting much younger, and soon I'll become obsolete. Just knowing that scares me."
Appearance: Zerath stands at 5'9" weighing 155 pounds, most of this weight comes from what's left of her muscular build. Zerath has brown eyes and blonde hair. She keeps her hair at a long length, which she says maintains an attractive image. She prefers to wear finer cloths at the school, and light clothing with metal plating covering vital areas when sent on a mission.
Tell us about you: "As you may well know I was part of the original class of Ris'Saliance, my pretty statue stands alongside my friends, but I am assuming that you want to know more personal details. 'Sighs' Before I was drafted I had a husband with two sons. I lived a happy life as a seamstress sewing clothes, making dresses... There really wasn't more that was needed. When word came that the Sun Elves had declared war upon us we were scared because our mill was right on the border between us and them. We... We were among the first villages that were attacked."
"It was only two days after when we were attacked. Those blasted elves came and slaughtered my family, I was forced to watch as they burned holes through their hearts. Heh can you imagine having that done to you? Unfortunately for them they decided to spare me, leaving me to die in the arriving winter. That is when I was found by a patrol and drafted into the army. King Melnorix himself told us that we were going to train hard, I didn't know how hard. Our teacher was a bitter old man who definitely seemed past his prime yet somehow wasn't. He alone taught all eight of us, teaching us how to fight, how to defend against magic, how to remain unseen, how to read... Yes I didn't know how to read back then. I was a seamstress, I didn't need to read! My training? I'm sorry but that's a trade secret 'wink'.
Anyways Aior was definitely the star child as some may call it. Just by using his brutish strength he always managed to pull ahead the rest of us, damned stone-brain."
"Still we admired the man, I admired the man, and by the time we graduated we were powerful soldiers. Our first mission was to assassinate a general at a nearby camp, and I somehow drew the short stick and had to kill him while the others waited. I killed him, stole a special amulet, and got away with the elves none the wiser. From that point on we were successful in all of our tasks, from espionage to supply routes, even elven cities weren't safe from our fury!"
"Going ahead a few years, King Melnorix led us to the final assault against Elzaniel at Solasuun, the Capital of Alver. That damned elf himself fought alongside his kin, and Aior was foolish enough to challenge him. Then again... We were stupid enough to follow. Elzaniel and Aior dueled while the rest of us circled to watch; even enemy soldiers paused to watch the Titans duel. However Elzaniel didn't fight fair, he used his magic to slay Aior and the rest of my kin. I alone survived only because I had a special gift that allowed me to absorb any kind of Magic energy. Our forces were shocked, our strongest soldiers were defeated, and at this moment there was hate. Pure undeniable hate. Oblivious to my survival, Elzaniel turned leaving himself open. I took my dagger and stuck it in his elven back, my strike missed the heart but Elzaniel was defeated. King Melnorix banished him and now we live in our world today."

History: The Yavernskys were one of the original noble families to come to Vian alongside the Wulds, Olversteins, Frostburnes, Valons, and the Leskors during the Alveric Age. The Yavernskys were acclaimed for their social prowess and their legendary warriors. It is even said that the Yavernskys were instrumental in the formation of the Kingdom of Joten during the start of the Celian age. One of the most discerning features of the Yavernsky family is their magic bloodline. No other noble family has more natural born sorcerers, and they even hold a private academy to teach students. One of the most notable human figures, Aartyom Yavernsky, is well known as a hero of Joten due to his legendary feats during the formation of Joten.
Zerath herself was born during a time when the Yavernsky family had begun a feud with the mighty Valon family. Her father had advised her to marry a poor man and do her best to live a quiet life. Because of this Zerath has a natural disliking of the Valons, but not the extent as the Sun Elves. At this point the Yavernskys had lost some acclaim after the patriarch had a 'mental breakdown' at the Summer Festival, leaving the Yavernskys with little money and few friends.
Biography: Zerath was born to the low ranked noble family Yavernsky, he was the fourth daughter so she decided to pursue a more quiet life. Her parents encouraged this action, providing her with a small mill in the Wuld forest, and a butler so she may have company. There Zerath worked as a seamstress making clothes for a small village of Islan. One day she met a young man named Alaizar, who she immediately fell in love with. She made simple wooden figures for her, gave him flowers, offerings of food, sweet things yet nothing worked. Alaizar proved a resilient soul refusing her gifts, but Zerath is also a very stubborn woman. One day, she mustered courage and spent all the money whe had on a simple wedding band. If Alaizar didn't want a courtship period she may as well just ask, after all the worst that could happen was refusal. When she proposed, Alaizar simply smiled saying "I wondered when you would ask." and they were married within the week.
Together they had two sons, Yziel and Gregor, who grew to be like his mother, stubborn determined crazy young men, much to Zerath's joy. Her sons grew quick, soon showing signs of her own nature. One day, however her butler informed her of an up coming conflict with the Sun Elves, but Zerath disregarded this as simple gossip among nobles. Only two days later, Islan was attacked by Sun Elves; they captured her and her family. Not long after they killed her family, starting with her sons then finally her husband Alaizar. This act devastated Zerath, seeing all she cared for taken away right in front of her. Instead of killing her, the elves left her bound to a tree in front of her dead family.
Hours passed, and a human patrol passed freeing Zerath who had sworn revenge against the Sun Elves. When asked about being part of a special team designed to defeat the elves, Zerath agreed and thus became a part of Ris'Saliance Aior's first class. She was trained by a master in the art of stealth, coercion, espionage, combat, and literature creating the man the world knows today.
