Respect each other and don't go too far. I just have two rules.

Everyone needs to respect each other and I don't believe I need to explain how respect works. I think we are all old enough for that. On the other hand, that doesn't mean fly off the handle if you feel like someone "dissed" you. If someone said something as a joke, then please do at least ATTEMPT to understand the context they used it in.
