Background:
In the furthest outskirts of Konohagakure, nestled by a serene and crystal-clear lake, lay the hidden village of Azure Falls. The Azura clan was renowned for its mastery of water-based ninjutsu, a skill passed down through generations. The villagers revered water not only as a life-giving element but also as a powerful force to be harnessed and respected.

Kishori Azura was born into this prestigious clan, with a lineage of highly skilled ninjas. Her parents, Erina and Kisari Azura, were both esteemed warriors who dedicated their lives to protecting their village. From a young age, Kishori was drawn to the water, spending hours playing by the lake, feeling an innate connection to its tranquil yet powerful presence.

Her childhood was marked by rigorous training, as she learned the ways of the ninja. Kishori's natural affinity for water made her a prodigious student, quickly mastering techniques that allowed her to manipulate water in various forms—creating mist to obscure her movements, forming water structures for combat, and even specializing in marine-life summons. Her parents instilled in her the values of honor, duty, and compassion, shaping her into a formidable warrior with a kind heart.

Tragedy struck when Kishori was just sixteen. A rival clan, seeking to expand its territory, launched a surprise attack on the village. Despite their valiant efforts, many of the villagers, including Kishori's brother, perished in the brutal assault. The loss of her brother devastated Kishori, but it also ignited a fierce determination within her.

With her village in recovery, Kishori vowed to rebuild and protect the Azure Falls. She took on the mantle of leadership, guiding the remaining villagers and training the next generation of ninjas. Her resilience and strength earned her the respect of her peers, and she became known as the "Spirit of the Azure Lake."

As the years passed, Kishori honed her skills and embarked on numerous missions to defend her village and seek justice for her brother. She encountered various allies and adversaries along the way, each shaping her journey. Her ultimate goal was to bring peace and stability to the land, bridging the gap between warring clans and ensuring that future generations could live without fear.

Despite the many challenges she faced, Kishori's spirit remained unbroken. Her bond with water deepened, granting her unique abilities that set her apart from other ninjas. She often found solace and strength by the lake, meditating and reflecting on her journey. The water, ever-flowing and resilient, mirrored her own essence.

Appearance: Taller than average kids his age but thin and without much of the lean muscle one might build in adulthood; Saburo has wild, spiking, blond hair that he often ties back into an overloaded knot; His eyes are wide and bright amethysts on his face; Saburo smiles easily and often, his mouth crooked with constant amusement; He wears his headband wrapped around his neck, and his shirts open to reveal the mesh chainmail undershirt; Saburo ties a pair of thin, knotted ropes around his waist like a belt, the scabbard of his blade tucked between them; His pants are a little short for his long legs, but he still cuffs them at the ankles; Vacillates between wearing no shoes or just simple sandals.

Clan: Soga; The Soga are recognized in Konohagakure as expert, covert operatives. Those in the clan often trend toward being either members of the ANBU or Konoha’s Torture and Interrogation Squadron, The Soga are fiercely loyal to the village. Several members of the clan have become advisors to different Hokage, and sometimes even foreign diplomats. Having flocked to Konoha early on in its founding, many of the Soga clan believe they have the Hidden Leaf’s best interests in mind and are determined to see the village through increasingly difficult times.

A large sect of the Soga are massively distrustful of the alliance between Iwagakure and Sunagakure, determined that the two intend to invade another village under the guise of their unity; the leaders of the Soga clan suspect the alliance to invade Kumogakure, seeking paths to ensure that Konoha not only remains safe from Iwa and Suna for now, but also the possibility of posturing the Leaf Village in a favorable and righteous light in the center of the world’s political stage.

Members of the Soga clan tend to be physically imposing in stature, tall and muscular, almost statuesque. Their hair tends to grey quickly, those members who live into their twenties developing silver or white hair by their thirties. They can be heavy drinkers, arrogant and brash, though quiet and clever with their political machinations and manipulations. The Soga are Konoha loyalists, though recently have split hard with the Senju on how the Hokage’s handled foreign diplomacy.

An old, warrior clan, the Soma have developed several, varied jutsu over the past decades: Earth Release: Stone Shogi Technique is a C-Rank Jutsu that raises solid rock up from the ground in the shape of different shogi pieces that the caster can then manipulate in movement direction and speed–the more powerful the user, the more shogi pieces they can make at once, allowing a single shinobi to hold their own against multiple opponents; Perceived Dismemberment Technique is a B-Rank Genjutsu utilized in torture and interrogation, allowing the caster to remove teeth, tongues, fingers, even full limbs, from a subject–because the torture is psychological, one can endure more of the physical pain, as real as the physical pain seems; Earth Release: Stone-Splitting Sword Technique is a C-Rank Earth-Style Kenjutsu where the user imbues their sword with chakra, stabs it into the ground, and slices through the ground, shooting shards of earth sharp like shrapnel in a specific direction–this also causes significant damage to the ground in general, potentially tipping the battle in favor of an earth-style user, or even for someone with good chakra control; Splinter of the Mind’s Eye Technique is an A-Rank Genjutsu that allows the user direct access to a victim’s unguarded memories, though the caster must themselves experience these memories from the perspective of the subject–another technique developed for use in torture and interrogation, though often seen as a last-resort; Earth Release Seal: Magnificent Impenetrable Monolith Technique is a B-Rank Sealing Barrier that raises a massive, obsidian obelisk up from the earth, which can then encase and seal away a number of smaller opponents, or one, larger enemy; Earth Release Barrier: Absorbent Siege Fortress Technique is an A-Rank Barrier that erects a castle-like structure from the ground to protect a number of people–any chakra-based attacks used on the barrier can be absorbed, and further distributed to one of the people within the protective walls.

Personality:
  • Be Vigilant. Be Kind: Expecting the worst of other people, Saburo is slow to trust, but nevertheless quick to help; he would rather be stabbed in the back trying to do good, than live on the sideline, watching others suffer.
  • Nurturing: Well liked by younger and older people, Saburo will forego eating to help feed someone else–especially orphans, or seniors without anyone else to rely on. He actively lives a less comfortable life to aid others even worse off.
  • Deflective: Like his ability to parry attacks, Saburo himself is prone to avoid truthful, personal statements–even with close friends and allies, unless under incredible duress.
  • Immovable Object: Stubborn as hell, he aims to be an absolute rock to all those in his life: immovable, sturdy…totally dependable. How can a rock ever ask for help?
  • Studious: A bookworm of sorts; Saburo can and will read everything within his grasp, and is a known entity at the library. Learning widens one’s range of experience.
  • Adventurous: Not beholden to studying inside, Saburo loves foraging in the woods, fishing on the lake, or running down the riverside; he finds the unexplored, and retreads his ground until it’s imprinted in his mind. Can be gone for days at a time.
  • Ideological: Perhaps due to his love of reading, further influenced by life and the world around him, Saburo became an ideologue at an early age, and has spent several years honing his beliefs.
  • Untethered Allegiances: Based on his ideology and amplified by a strenuous relationship with his own clan, Saburo is critical of blind allegiance to one’s family and other kin, and is even harboring uncertainties about loyalty to one’s village because of this.

Background: The third son of Koto and Yemon Soga, brother to Haru and Mugen Soga, Saburo was born on February 9th. His father is heir-apparent to the clan’s leadership, and Koto is a respected captain in the Konoha Police Force. Saburo’s brothers are both tokubetsu jonin; Haru is a specialized instructor at the Shinobi Academy, and Mugen is a detective with the police. The third child, Saburo often found his interests fall to the wayside, his family much too occupied to afford him much attention.

At an early age, Saburo was sneaking into places he didn’t belong, trying to see everything, learn everything that he could. Some people in Konoha thought he was a punk; others thought perhaps had too much ambition, even for a child. The Leaf never had a deficit of ambitious shinobi who’d break the rules to empower themselves, and the thought of it always made people worry. Saburo had a knack for weaseling his way out of trouble, of escaping capture and not owning up to his own actions.

His cousin, Shimori, died on a mission not long after becoming a genin. Just a few years apart, Saburo and Shimori were quite close, often “training” together, dreaming about becoming Hokage or some other powerful shinobi. Shimori’s death rattled Saburo, who saw little reason in the whole thing; the mission Shimori went on wasn’t considered dangerous, but was accepted as “something that happens”. As he got older, Saburo saw more people die, attended more funerals, and found it hard to accept the way of shinobi like many of his kin did so easily.

Saburo felt compelled to take his own training seriously almost as a way to just protect his own life; he buckled down and even became engrossed in his studies, which made the fledgling shinobi realize he liked reading, an activity that he’d incorporate further into his daily routine. This turn in behavior extended to public behavior, as Saburo evolved from the problematic brat being chased through the streets to helping strangers on those same streets.

After graduating the near the top of his class in the Academy, Saburo excelled as a genin and proved himself capable of performing well at higher-rank missions if the situation arose. Saburo showed that he could be dependable as was expected of those of the Soga clan; as a battlefield tactician with defensive jutsu prowess, he took charge in corralling his genin teammates and executing detailed plans of attack. After just under a year, the genin squad's leader recommended them for the chunin exams. Again, Saburo dragged his squadmates along for the ride, almost by willpower alone. The young Soga boy figured out an effective way to share test answers during the first section, and devised a plan that made the team of the first to past the notorious Forest of Death; Saburo was defeated in the final fights by a prodigious Uchiha, but his overall strong outing in the exams convinced the Hokage to approve his promotion to chunin.

He can also channel his chakra to produce powerful sonic pulses from his mouth and nose that can be used to disorient, damage, and detect enemies. His sound frequencies can be hypnotic in nature (similar to a siren's song, but without the element of attraction) while implementing hypnotic suggestions with his voice.

Clan: Suzuna Clan – A small, yet important clan in Konohagakure known for their cultivating of rare herbs and flowers used in medicine and poisons. It is said to never get on their bad side if you don't want to find yourself dead due to poisoning. While the people of this clan might not be strong in fights, if they put their mind to it, they WILL find a way to poison you, no matter how careful you are.

The clan values loyalty, but is also known to have a pragmatic streak. They will align with those who respect their craft and protect their autonomy. Their loyalty is earned through trust rather than tradition, and breaking that trust could result in subtle, yet devastating consequences.

Personality: Himari is an optimistic and curious young girl with a mischievous streak who wears her heart on her sleeve. She has a deep love for nature and is always collecting interesting plants during missions, sometimes to the annoyance of those around her. While cheerful, Himari struggles with self-doubt, especially when comparing herself to shinobi from far more prestigious and powerful clans. She also tends to fall in love easily, too easily. She catches herself often daydreaming as well.

Her being a bastard child also weighs heavily on her sometimes, it makes her feel as if she's a burden on the clan, a problem which the clan's reputation would had been better off without. Those close to her always treated her with love, but there has been few times where she got dirty looks for her status. While never getting to know her real mother does make her feel a bit lonely at times, she tries to hide that sadness deep in her heart, she's the type to hold it all in until it all explodes all at once.

Background:

Growing up in the Suzuna household was far from ordinary. Himari’s days were split between learning the skills of their clan under her grandfather’s strict gaze, and practicing shinobi techniques alongside her siblings. While she showed promise in Wind Release, her chakra control was clumsy, leading to many failed attempts at blending her jutsu with the clan’s herbal techniques. These setbacks led to feelings of insecurity.

Himari Suzuna was born into the close-knit Suzuna Clan out of wedlock, yet she was still raised with love, despite never getting to meet her real mother. Himari used to often ask about her, but no one who knows about her mother ever answered her. She's not sure why it's a secret, but she suspect it's her grandfather who behind it.

Her grandfather, Haruto Suzuna, is the respected head of the Suzuna clan. Known as "The Green Sage," Haruto has spent decades improvingg the clan's techniques, and his presence commands both respect and fear.

Himari is the middle child, with an older half brother, Ren, and a younger half brother, Kaito. Ren, at 18, is a skilled Chunin and heir apparent to the clan. Calm, disciplined, and deeply loyal, he’s already earned a reputation for his mastery of the Suzuna’s signature poisons. However, Ren’s responsibilities as the clan’s prodigy often leave Himari feeling overshadowed.

While Kaito, at just 8 years old, is the clan’s troublemaker. Despite his young age, he has shown a surprising knack for identifying plants and their uses, much to their grandfather’s delight. Some say he will be the next heir in line behind Ren.

Though she deeply admires Ren and feels protective of Kaito, she struggles with the pressure of living up to the clan’s legacy, a legacy she has no choice but try to live up too, as her grandfather often reminds her, with a stern yet encouraging tone. Though a small part of her hopes that by doing all of this, she'll somehow learn more about her mother.

Equipment: A standard shinobi tools: kunai, shuriken, and smoke bombs. A small herb pouch containing medicinal plants and mild toxins. A small folding fan with metal edges, used both for combat and Wind Release techniques.


Skills and Traits:

1- Herbal knowledge : Himari’s knowledge of herbs allows her to create effective salves, antidotes, and mild poisons on the fly.

2- Keen Perception: Her natural curiosity and sharp eyes make her good at spotting traps and hidden objects.

3- Wind Affinity: Himari’s wind release skills are unusually refined for her rank, which is a blessing as her skills in close combat leaves much to be desired.


Techniques:

1- Wind Release: Gale Palm, Himari creates a powerful gust of wind to push back enemies or improve the speed of thrown weapons.

2- Flower Shuriken, a clan-inspired technique where Himari attaches lightweight, sticky herbs to shuriken. Upon impact, they release pollen which irritates opponent’s eyes and nose.

3- Wind Release: Petal Drift, by scattering flower petals in the air, Himari can obscure vision and make distractions, combining beauty and utility.

4- Healing Herb Wrap, A non-combat skill where Himari infuses her chakra into herbal bandages to fasten the healing of minor wounds.

Her family was neither rich nor poor; one of many family who made enough to sleep soundly at night and who could afford a few conveniences here and there. It was a good life, but not one Kikyō had ever been content with.

Years of travel and rubbing elbows with people from all walks had opened Kikyō's eyes to the many different ways people engage with life. While it wouldn't be apt to call their way of life better, it was certainly different and that was more than enough for Kikyō. She didn't want her life to waste away, satisfied with merely contentedness—rather, she resolved to seek out her own excitements.

Relying on her budding talents as a kunoichi, Kikyō aspired to seize life by the horns and extract from it her due. She was blessed, or perhaps burdened, with the highly destructive but chakra-intensive fire-release. With many fire release techniques demanding more than a genin's feeble chakra network could sustain, Kikyō quickly realized a need for innovation and resourcefulness. Mud Spider Snare

Description:

1. Snare:
The mud spider launches itself at the target with great speed. When it makes contact, its legs extend and wrap around the target, immobilizing them and sticking them to the ground.

Mud Fortress Technique

Kazunari was born into the Hoshizora Clan, a secretive and ancient lineage of ninjas residing in the Hidden Leaf Village. Appearance: Kubo Eiji, A tall thirteen year old Genin of physically fit and strong build. Dark hair of greyish black in a mess of fluff atop his head appearing styled yet messy form with sections spiked in style. Often wearing bandages around the wrists on up towards his the length of his forearms to his elbows, pale yellowish/green faded robe worn over a mesh shirt with a brown custom sleeved long jacket that stands his length with a high collar, dark brown pants with common ninja tools pouches on both sides of his back pockets and kunai holsters strapped to each leg as was common, grey shin guards meeting between the leg of his pants into the forming of his common Shinobi sandals that were brown of color instead of the traditional blue, a headband worn around his neck in non traditional fashion and his light pale blue eyes hidden behind his hidden bandages protected and covered by his trademark dark shades with wide frames to ensure the bandages hidden nature and intended purpose that paired with the glasses. While lastly was a light brown belt worn across his body diagonally to carry his two handed sword at his back.

Personality: Eiji ever the stubborn will not easily admit to defeat or weakness. Nor ask for help. He's prideful and stubborn a pair that often goes hand in hand. A trait that could be noticed by his lacking to divulge or share of his condition with anyone that doesn't already know. Hides it well through much adaption to his life's requirements in order to proceed with his dreams of which aren't completely clear other then becoming and remaining a Shinobi to his dying day. He refuses to allow this condition to better him nor hold him back from becoming the best and strongest version of himself that he could become.


Yet behind this stubborn, prideful and strong front he's caring and loyal. He doesn't judge nor hold himself higher and better then others simply by standing or appearance or what else may be used. He's fully willing to fight to his death for any just cause or to protect another. While tactical enough to prevent himself from becoming to headstrong and forward in March or attack. His condition may effect his eyes but does not mean he's blind. Lastly, despite his unwillingness to ask for help, he's not one unwilling to offer it to another and happily help when able. He's also rather a natural with nature and it's inhabitants, enjoying the simple joys of it whether he'll admit it or not. He seems to get along well and communicate with animals of all sorts usually well anyhow, some cases prove beyond his capability. Thus the explanation behind his seeming Pet of a Rat friend that's often seen on his shoulder or traveling to him for various reasons and purposes.

Personal History: A child out of wedlock and traditional means. Eiji is son to the Kubo clan yet bears not their mark of combat style least not exactly for he is also the son of a rogue from either one of two likely and possible while rumored nations and villages. A rogue with a specific Kekkei Genkai known as Toxin Release. A Kekkei Genkai and chakra nature that is altogether of nasty sort and harmful to those it comes into contact with only their hosts and users having a built in immunity of sorts to it.


The Kubo clan is a long standing and respected Shinobi clan within the village for where they long reside upon their small estate. A clan of Shinobi that tend to specialize in close combat and summoning techniques often utilizing both TaiJutsu and weapon based combat such either kenjutsu or ShurikenJutsu if not both as is often the case. While making use of a variety of summoning techniques often unique to them. While Eiji fits the Kubo clan to a T and does follow in their footsteps in style of combat and specialty his use of summoning techniques and the brand are to be seen as they require more work and training til such a time he makes use of them as well.


But regardless Eiji was born to a Kubo Kunoichi and a rogue Shinobi of a father. Consent or not has never been spoken or shared. But a child was born none the less and would soon endure. Just before he was to enter the academy he was struck with misfortune in the form of a incident that led to his eyes becoming severely burned and eyesight greatly effected while burns yet remain hidden behind his trademark shades that also conceal minor bandages that give just enough visibility to allow for him to still see with what vision remains for him. A stubborn youth that was almost deterred from entering the academy due to this unfortunate incident that remains a slight mystery in some regards. But Eiji was never shy nor easily defeated by life and what it threw at him. He persisted until he finally overcame his misfortune and limited sight by working and adapting to his limitations and needs, hiding behind shades and bandages that allowed him to still see with what vision remained but also hid the condition from others that did not yet know.


While Eiji still struggles at times with it all. He doesn't give up nor ask for help. He persists and strides forward with pride and stubborn nature.



Skills:

Heightened Senses: Due to his condition, it has led to the development of his other senses becoming more enhanced and effective to make up for his limited vision.

Chakra Flow Specialist: In part because of his Kekkei Genkai and his own maternal clans ways. Eiji is rather proficient and specializes in chakra Flow allowing him easier access to performing such abilities and flow more easily.

Two-Handed Weapon Specialist: Physically stronger and taller then some his age. Both from genetics and training. Eiji leans toward heavier weapons and has proven proficient in their use with either hand or both.

Physical Strength & Agility: While none claim he's the strongest nor fastest youth around. Eiji does possess a elevated level of agility and strength for his age through years of training and perhaps genetics as well benefitting him.



Traits:

Tactically Minded: Again, He's tactically inclined enough to know decent tactics and operating with some intelligence despite how how outward mannerisms and behaviors might suggest.

Toxin Release: Becoming rather proficient and experienced in the use of his Kekkei Genkai and it's chakra nature.

Close Quarters Combat: A short-Mid Range Specialist that's still a work in progress for more distance fighting. Eiji is preferable and enjoys different forms of close combat and usually maxes out to mid range at this time.

Toxin Release: Chakra Infusion Clone "A simple yet effective jutsu where the user is able to make clones out of their chakra that can be easily detected and determined as clones by their appearance and lack of ability to attack. These clones move slower when their number increases but can seem endless pending that same number. While also more chakra taxing the more are created as well. Harmless in their inability to attack but will continuously swarm the target and while easily dispatched and dispersing they will fill the air with their poisonous fumes emanating from that very toxic natured chakra in which they were created" (Similar to D-Rank Haze Clone Technique with slight differences of course)


Toxin Release: Slicing Flicker Technique "Utilizing the common Body Flicker Technique and his own weapon, it's blade wrapped in his chakra, Eiji preps his sword and body appearing in a flash before the target aiming to slice at them with full intent to cut through them and infect them with his poisonous chakra that's coating the blade of his two handed sword."
