Rise of the Fallen - A post-apocalyptic world with a group of teens with special abilities

It's the year 2020. The world has gone to hell. Aliens in giant tripods have invaded. They have giant tentacles attached to their vessels, grabbing any life form they can. There are also aliens on ground level who will eliminate any human they find.
A group of teens with amazing abilities will rise from the ashes of London and will rescue any human they can from the alien invaders.


Rules:


Mild cursing is allowed


Mild nudity is allowed


Violence is encouraged ;)

((I'll take the liberty to go ahead and start this thing))


Juniper sprinted across the abandoned streets of London while electrocuting the aliens that where chasing after her. Over the corse of two months she had made her way from Romania all the way to London during an apocalypse. Juniper made a quick turn into a narrow ally way and lost the aliens. She blew the hair that had fallen and covered her eyes while running off her have with a large huff of air. She saw an old rusty fire escape ladder on the side of one of the buildings in the ally way and she started to climb it. She reached the roof of the building and set her backpack of supplies down and scanned an ariel view of the abandoned streets of a once busy London.
 
I was wondering the streets of a town. i didn't care much of where i was i cared for where i was going. i needed a place to sleep and to hide. then i heard that sound, that stupid sound those stupid aliens make whenever they freakin breath. as i turned a corner i saw a girl climbin up a fire escape. then there they were a group of stupid aliens. i quicklyform a barrier in between us then run into a near by building. i then walk up to the roof generating any missing stair. when i got to the roof i saw the girl again going throgh some back. i simply make a bridge to the builing she was on.
 
Juniper heard a noise coming from behind her so she quickly snapped her head back to see what the source of the noise was. And standing there was no alien, it was a boy that looked around her age.


"Who or what are you?!" she yelled sternly in her Romanian accent, towards the boy that was on the roof of the building.
 
" i am darek but you can call me DJ " i extended my hand but she did not take it " i'm here to help watch " i pointed to some aliens on the round and on my command metal spikes came out of the ground and killed them. "see i can help"
 
Juniper looked at the boy skeptically with a raised eyebrow. She then finally replied "I'm Juniper. And I see you too are a freak like me".


"And since you want to help me let me make one thing clear, yes I am a girl, yes I may be small, but I am a hell a lot stronger and tougher than I look. So I don't want to be treated like a princess. I was born and raised by the Russian military so I can handle taking care of myself. Are we clear?" Juniper said in a strong tone of voice with a thick accent.
 
Lawrence and Susan were walking through the empty city. They actually lived in this city before the incident. Susan looked at her older brother. "Any idea where we going Lawrence?" Lawrence looked back at her. "Sis. If I did we wouldn't be wondering aimlessly." His stomach started to growl. "Man I'm really hungry. Your lucky since you don't have to worry about food." Susan smiled at her brother. "Don't forget I need to worry about finding a power source. Even though my batteries can last forever." The two continued walking. "Yeah you have a point there sis." Susan giggled. "That's how most of these conversations work brother." They continued walking until they heard voices. The two sneaked up n the voices.
 
With an unamused sigh Juniper said "For instance there are two life forms watching us at the moment" she said sassily. Juniper knew that there were forms of life because due to her mutation she could sense the energy their bodies produced. Juniper walked towards them and pulled out her sword that instantly sparked with electricity when she touched it. "Show yourselves in ten seconds or else all the energy that is in your bodies will be absorbed which mean you will die. Your choice" Juniper said in her strong accent.
 
Both Lawrence and Susan pulled out their weapons. "Your sure you want to do that mam?" Susan looked at the other guy. "And who's your friend?"
 
Taking a long look at them Juniper said "Thats Derek. I just met him literally 2 minutes ago. And who/ what exactly are you two?" she said lowering her sword a bit.
 
Lawrence looked at her. "Well I'm Lawrence." He looks over at Susan. "And that's my sister Susan." Susan lowers her canons then waved.
 
I was kind of suprised how hostile everyone was. i walked up behind juniper as she introduced me. " i wouldn't callus freaks more like special" i said with a smirk. I made chairs for everybody " sit sit we should talk"
 
"Nope, I'm pretty darn sure we are all freaks" Juniper said putting her sword back in its sling on her back. She took a seat on one of the chairs "so now what should we do?" Juniper said with a smirk.
 
There is a sudden explosion from somewhere above the four, and along with some debris a person falls down towards them, landing dangerously close to Lawrence


"Owwwwwwwwwwwwwww" he cried


"Oh, a real huma-" he then fell unconscious
 
"well first we need to get to know eachother. i'll go first my name is darek jones or DJ i was a test subject in the U.S. army and was sent here to protect the abassador. my power is... well i don't really have a name for it but as you can see i can make stuff as long as it is not alive" i took a deep breath after my long rant. i slumped back in my chair " so what about you two" i said Pointing to lawrence and susan
 
Juniper jumped up because of the sound and rushed to the source of it. She saw a person who was unconscious laying on the floor covered in debris. She knelt down and wiped his face clean. She slapped him across the face to see if he would come back but it didn't work. Juniper took a deep breath, put two hands over his lungs, and forced a medium sized bolt of kinetic energy into his body so he would wake up.
 
Oren rushed to his senses and quickly looked all around


"Um... hi everybody?" He said quietly "uh, I don't where I am, and I don't think I know you... I'm Oren."
 
"Well Oren, you just pretty much fell out of the goddamn sky and passed out. I am Juniper and I was the one who woke you. You are in London. And this my friend is the apocalypse"
 
I made a bed under the boy and went and started clearin off the debree from his body while also checking for and wounds.


" where did he come from and how did he survive" i questioned. i looked up to the sky to see nothing huh. " do you guys think he is one of us "
 
"Yeah, and I'm a human version of a power outlet. Thats how I brought you back to life" Juniper said and opened the palm of her hand and shot out a bolt of lightning towards the sky.
 
"Well I guess, does this count?" Oren raised his arm revealing a gauntlet with blade like fingers
 
"It can block attacks with some sort of force field. And this chain, I can use it to attack, kinda like a tentacle."
 
"I'd say that counts. Anyways so now that we have a posse, what is the plan? Cause we can't just sit here all day and wait for the aliens to come kill us!"
