Also: As of this time, I need someone to role-play Lyhra, the leader of the Saviors. Lyhra's character is open to interpretation, but in general, she is a compassionate, understanding soul and fiercely loyal to her comrades and her cause. Her scale color is either gold, copper, bronze, white, silver or a shade of blue, you decide. Her elements and abilities are also open to interpretation, but I would recommend the elements of light, earth, air or fire. If you would like to apply to be Lyhra, let me know! I don't bite!

Name: Belladonna

Personality: Belladonna is quiet but quick-witted. She stays in the shadows, lurking and forever observant. She sees what other don't, and when they least expect it, she pounces. She is extremely reserved, and not many know much about her. When she allows herself to open up, she can be seen as quite intelligent and strategic. She hopes to master her abilities one day to the extent of her mother's, who she hadn't seen for almost 50 years and she never knew her father. She is content with the fact that she has no parents, and prefers to rely on herself than others. 


Appearance: Her scales are a deep purple, but when the sunlight hits them they shine a brilliant violet. She is slight for a dragon of her age, with a slender neck and long limbs. Her wings are light but powerful, and she has a knack for seeming to glide across the ground. 


Element: darkness


Abilities: Can manipulate the shadows to cloud the sight of her enemies. She can also shroud herself in darkness to remain unseen, and is working on her ability to use the shadows to lift and manipulate material objects, although this ability isn't fully learnt yet.

Personality: When not putting on a facade, intelligent, generally motherly, protective, will do anything for who she considers family, can be subject to rage and brutality when pushed too far


Appearance: iridescent black scales with sharp blue eyes. On the smaller side, she can slip unnoticed among many. Sleek and very very fast, she is never caught, and if she has to kill, no one would ever be able to pin it on her


Element: Illusion and water


Abilities: Bend others minds to be seen as she wants to be seen, hiding in plain sight when not shaking in the shadows. Can also be projected onto other things, but takes so much power she almost never uses it. On the water side, she manipulates water in everything, including blood making her an excellent assassin, she never gas to get her claws dirty. On the flip side to this, she can also use the water manipulation to heal, giving her the rank of healer on the Saviors side. 


History: Parents long gone, Kairi works under the Ravagers, but in all reality she just wants the death and self inflicted genocide to cease. She would change sides, if not for her hatchlings, who are not old enough to run with her. So she stays, and obeys. Bidding her time until she can fight back and end the bloody war. At first she does not pay any mind to the humans, they seem intelligent enough, and have just as much right to live as any. Then once she begins to interact with them, she grows overwhelmingly fond of them, as they remind her of her hatchlingson. This also makes her role on the saviors side all the more convincing.

Name: Blackheart (This is a title, her true name is a well-guarded secret.)


Faction: Ravagers

Age: 1,282


Personality: It is safe to say that the Ravager leader has earned her title and infamy a hundred times over; Blackheart is one mean dragon. She has remained in her position of power throughout the centuries by means of brute force and intimidation, and the few who have tried to usurp her have shared the same grisly fate. She possesses a brilliant strategic mind, which is often unfortunately overshadowed by her volatile temper. While she now has a better handle on her anger than she did all those centuries ago, it really doesn't take much to send Blackheart into a fit of rage; and heaven help the unfortunate soul who might be on the receiving end of that fury. "Mercy" is a word not found in her vocabulary. 


Despite all this, Blackheart does not make an effort to be pointlessly cruel towards members of her own species. She is ruthless and efficient in battle, and when dispatching an opponent, she is more interested in ending their life than causing them pain. (However, during her rage-induced fits, she has been known to show a bit more of her sadistic side.)


BlackHeart wears an eternal scowl, even if she's inwardly in a good mood. Not that she is particularly meaning to scowl, it's sort of become a habit for her. Her commanding officers and those who know her closely can identify her rare "happy moments" by her tone of voice. While usually a low, guttural growl, if in a good mood, Blackheart's pitch will rise to a more gentle tone. Blackheart has also been known to give decent advice on occasion, to those brave enough to ask. 


Blackheart has persevered through all these years and fought so valiantly for her cause because she truly believes that, by exterminating the humans, she is doing her species and the entire natural world a favor.

Elements: Lightning and Death


Abilities: 


Thunderclap- Blackheart throws her head back and emits an ear-splitting roar to the heavens, which summons a lightning storm. She may then channel the Lightning to strike at her opponents, but this takes immense concentration on her part, and is extremely taxing. At maximum, she can summon four lightning strikes before she is too exhausted to continue fighting. She may also imbue herself with the storm's power, giving her a temporary but extreme boost in speed and agility. Once the effects wear off, however, she will be left feeling lethargic.


Corrupt flame- Blackheart possesses a chemical that, when released, corrupts her flame and turns it inky black. It will burn far hotter than average dragon's fire, and emit a choking black smoke. BlackHeart's natural supplies of this chemical are limited, and once it runs out, her flame will cool immensely and become a pale amber color, rendering her breath-weapon essentially useless until her body replenishes the chemical. (About 2 days.)


Bloodlust- The more blood being split around her in the heat of a battle, the more ferocious Blackheart will become. Her sense of pain will dull and her physical strength will intensify. Of course, this is a reckless and self-endangering behavior as she can no longer tell how far she is exerting herself, and has nearly cost her her life on multiple occasions.


Strengths: Her imposing size and infamous reputation make Blackheart a pretty intimidating dragon. Her powerful wings allow for high-speeds while flying in a straight line, and her jaws are a steel trap. She is also incredibly durable, able to sustain serious injuries and keep fighting.


Weaknesses: Her explosive, volatile temper and the inability to control it. Her massive size does not allow for quick turns in the air, and thus, she is not very agile. When in the thick of battle, she may act with her emotions rather than her rational mind, leading to defeat by the more cool-headed Lyhra.


History: See "plot."


Other: As BlackHeart's rage intensifies, so do the red glow of her eyes. On occasion, she will loose the battle with her emotions and become entirely blinded by her fury, losing control of herself. When this happens, her eyes will turn inky black. Blackheart is incapable of reason when these fits occur, and it may take hours for her to regain control.

Personality: Calm and easy going most of the time but when some one hurts his friends he shows the true meaning of wrath. He is loyal but headstrong. He is not one for lies and can sometimes be brutally honest even to his close friends.

Elements: Earth and Fire


Abilities:


Seismic Roar- A Roar that causes the earth to shake and tear its self apart. This can also be used to knock Dragons out of the air.


Lava Breath- Gelvan can launch blobs of molten rock like a cannon, and when it hits it explodes. Is slow to charge up and is not vary accurate at long range.


Auto-shift- Can move the earth around himself letting him burrow through the earth at amazing speed. He uses this to get from one place to another quickly since he isn't the fastest flyer.


Strengths: He is great at fighting and Breaking things. He has is vary durable . His size makes him a vary intimidating dragon. He has a scorpion like tail he uses to great affect in fights.


Weaknesses: He is vary slow at flying and can only for a sort time. He is not vary smart. He has no idea how to be stealthy. He's afraid of water.


History: Parents were poisoned and killed by humans and he was beaten almost to death as a hatchling. He has vowed to find the humans that killed his family and bury them alive. He is a vary n nice dragons when not beating someone into a bloody pulp. He is treated with caution because of his size but all he wants to do is meet a friend that he can trust.


Other: He can often be found either taking a boiling mud bath or sculpting.

I'm actually quite interested in this...I've got a couple dragon characters I could add and a small creature of my own invention called a Burin if you would be open to that idea. Burin  are winged, four-legged creatures that are peaceful with nearly all species and thrive on knowledge. They hoard as much information as they can in their colonies and are avidly against war so they'd never takes sides or participate in one. Dunno. I play him alongside one of my dragon characters all the time so that's why I thought I'd check.

I'm glad to see that there are still people expressing interest in this, but I'm afraid this site just isn't as active as I need it to be for what I had in mind. However, I've started an exact replica of this roleplay on another site, which has taken off pretty fast. We should be kicking it off within the next day. If anyone is still interested, I can shoot you the link. We are in need of a Ravager second-in-command before we can begin.


And to answer your question Obsidian, I certainly wouldn't be opposed to you adding in a creature of your own design to play as! What role were you thinking he'd play in all this, though?
