The time is current Feudal Japan, with Inuyasha of the forest and his lovers reincarnation Kagome, searching for the Shikon Jewel Shards. A slightly younger miko by the name of Rin has just sought out Inuyasha and the team to attempt to hone her skills and help to find the shards of the jewel.
Concurrently, Sesshomaru, Inuyasha's full demon brother, is also seeking the shards of the jewel for his own wishes. Continuously running into and challenging his brother, Sessho wanders the land attempting to piece together the jewel in order to fullfill his own destiny with the power of the sacred item.
[Opening Post]
A cool air bristled through Sesshomaru's hair, the night overtaking his body and rendering only glimpses of his silver hair, tail, and yellow eyes visible. He was mostly hidden in the night, looking and sensing for any demons whom might be holding shards of the Shikon Jewel.
Oh, how he seethed for that power; the power to be an even stronger demon then he already was.
And, to take from his pitiful brother the option of ever becoming anything alike himself; Sesshomaru grinned an evil smile. Inuyasha would never match up, he would make sure of that. He walked in silence through the forests, staring intently on his prize just as his senses felt it. A demon with a shard.
