  here are many names for a king. His majesty. His grace. A true leader. Dead is not the preferred one. And yet this is how the court of Azaria stands, staring at the body of their dead king. His funeral was grand, befitting of a legend falling to assassins; his daughter presiding, his son absent and on the battlefield countries away. As his second born child stared over their father’s dead body, a mix of relief and terror swept over them. Their brother was gone, and as their father‘s death was unexpected, he would not be returning for several months now. Maybe even several years. Their father, a fool who did not know his own court was plotting to kill him, has now left a powerful spot open to his child, heir apparent in their brother’s stead. There are three things they knows. Someone in the court plotted to kill their father and succeed. Many will try to overturn their position as heir presiding, and take their brother’s place on the throne. Finally, they know that if they plays their cards right, and with the help of their closest allies, they can overcome these trials. If only they knew how to play their cards right…
  
  With the Heir Apparent birthday fast approaching, all the great names in the kingdom are gathering. Warnings have already surfaced about other political parties attempting to take power, and a potential death threat to the Heir Apparent. Tread lightly, all.

  Right of Survivorship is a court intrigue role-play focused on the second born royal of Azaria and their fight to keep her brother’s throne safe until he returns from war. The players will play some of the princesse’s closest allies, worst enemies, and finally the princess/prince themself. There will be some dice rolling involved when it comes to battles, espionage, and such things as they arise. How the players interact with the world and other characters will determine if the princess succeeds in saving her kingdom, or lets it falls into the wrong hands.
