3865, Settlement on a inhabitable planet has become absolutely necessary. Earth has become decayed and almost completely unrecognizable. After sending countless drones into the vast void of space, the human race managed to find a planet that suited their needs. One even better than the original earth. Grand Nix, was the planets name, and the Humans began settlement upon this planet as soon as possible, recreating Earths most memorable cities. The people, now rejoicing for their newly found planet, lived peacefully and harmoniously for centuries. Laws were strict, but the people strayed away from violence, and war overall.
It was a long lull of peace, until the year 4234, when a large fire rose in the west. The smoke was seen for miles, and the news couldn’t have covered the unknown epidemic fast enough. Strange beast like creatures crawled out from the crater left from the large explosion. The beast, at first, simply made eye contact with the surrounding survivors. It wasn’t until they began changing form, into humanoids the the surrounding humans knew to run. The now humanoid esc figures before them, began murdering everyone around.
In a quick response, Project Rextulous was put into effect. Commander Swanson found families with exceptional genetic traits. From these families, Commander Swanson, along with many scientists, collected eight children. These children were then trained to become the protectors of Grand Nix. The training was hard, starting with the most basic of principles. But as the years went by, these eight teens became deadly weapons. They became the grand protectors of the new world. Originally, Rextulous was a secret. They only worked with those that were feared to be destroying the peace. But as years went on, other worldly creatures began to surface on Grand Nix. The newly found foreign species formed trades, and even bonds with the local human civilizations. Naturally, the people of Grand Nix had suspicion of these settlers, and began the cultivation of young bodies to start the Rextulous project. With the discovery of the Rextulous, the people of Grand Nix were put to ease in a way. However, they were also sceptical about their true intentions. A newly found team of teenaged fighting specialists? This was a very bold way to go about protecting their new home.
Now everyone knows of the spy group called Rextulous. Not only are they licensed killers, but their skills don’t revolve around Human based removal. Rextulous Spies were created to keep the human race safe from the Cumulus. The Cumulus are strong grouped humanoid based creatures almost out of a fiction book. These creatures can morph themselves into different beings at whim. These beings range from a demonic wolf to even an average day person. They are trained in the highest forms of martial arts and yet arrived here from out of the blue.
The first record of their appearance was on a ship making its trade roots. When the ship arrived at it’s destination, 30,000 passengers were found dead. Their deaths were suspicious, with no trace of who could have performed the massacre. Each body examined was shown to have died by the same means.
This marked the creation of the Rextulous Spies. Their main objective, to save the world. But teenagers can't exactly keep just that on their mind. With fighting evil creatures and keeping the Grand World safe, something already falling apart at the seams, times get hard for these teenagers as they realize they were born to be exactly what they wanted to get rid of. Killing machines.
What do they do now?
Humans:
Humans are usually just the normal people in the world. The people who have regular jobs and normal lives with families and a normal education. You could live your lives as simple house dwellers, or even generals in the Grand World’s Spec. Ops. (Some approval may be required.)
Rextulous:
These are teens, between the ages of 15 and 18, that were selected based on genetic traits to become the grand protectors of the new world, Grand Nix. Some have been selected at birth, while others had been selected during their toddler years. They fight off the many different threats that Grand Nix may face. Terrorists, aliens,demonic creatures, and the biggest threat, The Cumulus.
Leader/ Hand-to-Hand Combat Specialist:
The head of Rextulous, and also the contact between Commander Swanson and the rest of the team.
All members are in constant contact with this role and must report to him directly.
2nd in Command/Sniper:
The second in command is the right hand advisor to the team leader.
Making plays and keeping the leader informed of strategic possibilities in the midst of combat.
Weapons Control:
Weapon upkeep and specialist.
Creation and maintenance of weapons in midst of battle is the name of the game, stay alive to keep your team alive.
Technology Adviser:
All other gear is covered by the Tech adviser body armor, explosives, and biochemical enhancements.
The tech advisor also is involved in system hacking and surveillance.
Radar Specialist:
Air strikes and tactical support drops.
If the team requests support, you best be sure you drop their equipment in the right location.
Vehiclist/Mechanical Support:
This member has the ability to operate any form of machinery.
Flying a plane and driving a tank are just two examples of their experience.
Cumulus:
These are beings from another planet. Their planet of origin is unknown to the human race. Studying these creatures is impossible. Once these creatures are believed to be killed, their body immediately turns into a pile of dust. Their genetic makeup is what is concerning to scientists. These creatures have been known to change their appearance. Currently, their known range of appearances is between a demonic creature and an everyday human.
Cumulus Classifications:
Twili - A combination of shadow and light based abilities. The earth and moon feed them power, allowing them to walk with the shadows and light of the world of Grand Nix.

Shadows - The embodiment of darkness. A hidden sub species of Cumulus who prefer peace, or to kill silently.
“I walked right past the king of Grand Nix, he was foolish as he brandished his power for the people. I will study him closer.” Nissa Refia, 2nd of the seven ancient Cumulus.
Shine - Embracers of light, whom bend and strengthen their bond of the hottest stars of the galaxy. Known for their refining of Sun stones.
“Once I knew I could refine the sun into pure crystals, I found almost limitless energy possibilities. However, they were used for weapons....” Christophe Retulov, 3rd of the seven ancient Cumulus.
Highwind- Control over the currents of air, and sound around them. They can amplify sound, or create tornado force winds.
“I once walked into the center of a town square, and sent the entire thing into a twirl of wind, they won’t forget me I’m sure.” - Ark Calstone, 4th of the seven ancient Cumulus.
Sculptors- The ability to mold and form different matter around them.
“The mind’s ability to create it’s image in the physical plane.” -Morris Sanderfal, 5th of the seven ancient Cumulus.
Burners- Flames sit at their command. The power to raise the temperature around then into the thousands.
“Did you really think the forest fires on your old planet were merely coincidence?” Cornelius Lund, 6th of the seven ancient Cumulus.
Dilute- Water flows like another form of life. The presence becomes almost one with nature in a new way.
“It isn’t uncommon for our people to befriend different water forms we create. We can even communicate with them.” Laura Nuulock, 7th of the seven ancient Cumulus.
