Fandom Reverberations OOC

Hola! I wanted to say hi as I start to make a character! Also Kassandra Rose Kassandra Rose would it be possible to make a pureblood out of technicality? I was wondering if I had a character that was the daughter of two squibs if she would count as a pureblood? And would Squibs and their children be as descriminated as muggleborns?

Erm. I think, it depends on if other people agree with me: your character wouldn't be discriminated against but their parents definitely would. Although, I'm not sure to what extent this would be.

That being said, this would be if everyone else in their family was fine at doing magic.
 
As I'm creating my character, I notice how acutely similar they are to Voldemort. I even switched their house from Ravenclaw to Slytherin without any particular thought other than the fact that I felt like that's the decision the Sorting Hat would've made.

Curious. Very Curious.

Sorry I’m not giving you all much to work with. Come Monday my replies should be much better. At the moment, they are quick and the quality is lacking.

Does anyone ever see their characters like a movie and play scenes out in their head, but when it comes to writing you just can’t seem to write the way you see? Am I crazy?lol

Don't worry about it. I'm not particularly bothered =)

All the time. That's part of the reason, I'm counted as a slow rper. I don't think you're crazy. Writing is difficult and getting the right words out is something I believe every writer struggles with to certain degree.

Since she's Captain of the Ravenclaw Team, I'm pretty sure Axton would know her. Not mention they are in the same year...

Whether they are friends, quidditch rivals, or both is open for discussion. You'll have to read Axton's cs to see if she'd want to be friends with him. Their personalities are fairly opposite. Though, she's a lovely lass, and I can see Ax hitting on her, not knowing she's a demisexual homoromantic^^
 
I can see them being friends of circumstance. While they're opposites in terms of personality, especially in terms of how they value booksmarts, Kira would probably befriend him anyway. None of her friendships would likely be out of genuine affection, at the moment, and more so to keep up with appearances as a social butterfly, and to have allies on her side when needed. And since he's not only pureblood, but also in the same year, and on the Gryffindor Quidditch team, I think the similarities in status and perceived interests would make Kira see a friendship with him as not only beneficial, but convenient.

Also, despite what it may seem like, Kira is a person who does appreciate physical beauty. She likes an aesthetically pleasing face as much as the next person. So, while she would have no interest in trying to pursue anything, she probably wouldn't mind the flirting all too much. Of course, since she doesn't make actual emotional connections with people and therefore can't reciprocate sexual attraction, it'd probably be nothing more than an ego booster for her. She'd just take the flirting as praise for her good looks, which she'd like since she enjoys being praised in general, no matter what for.

Kira sounds like a character with so much depth. Milena would probably know her very well, not only were they both on the quidditch team, but they're also both in Ravenclaw. I think she'd be a little scared of her though, she sounds intimidating.

No, that's fine, it's from before I just haven't got around to changing it. If possible try and establish character relations before joining. I think she'd fit in well with Rosemarie, Thomas, and Chris.

You're not crazy. I play out so many scenario's in my head, especially when i have a lot of time to myself - like before bed. QuirkyAngel QuirkyAngel is right. It's really hard to take things out of there and get it into words. Stop apologising for yourself, your doing great.

I just wish it could move quicker because i'm in love with this roleplay and all of your characters. There is nothing better than amazing writers bringing your idea to life. Thanks guys.
