  hello, hello! arly here with a new and improved partner search thread. a bit about me from the get go:
  ✉ 20 years old , he/him
  ✉ i have about nine or ten years of roleplay experience on various forums and mediums (RIP feralfront). i call myself lazy-lit and my reply length generally averages around 250-500 words, but i'm capable of much longer, and interested in pushing that boundary higher
  ✉ after multiple years of noting that my schedule is hectic in these interest checks, i can FINALLY say that i've reached a consistent set-up and have plenty of free time throughout the week. you can expect 1-3 replies per week, and possible daily replies depending on the rp's pace. long absences will be communicated about, and i'm totally ok with being bumped periodically if necessary.
  ✉ mostly interested in fantasy/supernatural and campy crime/drama. i'm not interested in conceptual grimdark, but darker topics and drama can absolutely be touched on. please feel free to let me know of any potential triggers that we can avoid.

  ✉ i'm entirely ghost-friendly, and ask that you be as well. if there are long waits between replies but you're still planning on returning, all i ask is for communication. in all cases, real life comes first!
  ✉ i'm a very big fan of ooc chatter, and like to mesh well with my partners above all else. pretty please, let us escape into this fantasy world together and gush over our characters! i'll try to match the energy of my partners, but i can seriously be as obsessive over plotting and character tidbits as you'd like.
  ✉ i basically require romance for my 1x1 plots, and i pretty much only do lgbtq+ pairings. basically, i'm willing to do anything except m/f since i'm just a bit bored with it at this point. i can play characters of any gender, so feel free to let me know of your preference for pairings.
  ✉ i've gotten to a point where i really struggle to find realistic faceclaims and i generally prefer art or animated fcs. i'm not totally against using real fcs, but thought this might be worth noting.

  001. Muse A has spent their entire life as a sheltered member of nobility, longing for the one thing status can't buy them: Freedom. When Muse B appears out of the blue and smooth-talks their way into the family estate for a night's rest from the road, their traveling lifestyle instantly catches Muse A's eye. By the end of Muse B's stay, Muse A has resolved to run away with them. it isn't until they're on the road that Muse A realizes they haven't stowed away with a humble traveler, but instead a renowned thief and criminal on the run. And though Muse A's family made for an easy mark, their getaway becomes a lot harder after stealing the family heir along with the heirlooms.
  *****was originally imagining this in a medieval or fantasy setting, but we can play around with every aspect of it. open to either muse.
  
  002. Muse A and Muse B used to work as assassins, side by side: That is, until Muse A decides to leave the world of organized crime for good and disappears from the organization. Years pass, and Muse A has seemingly gotten away with it and established an ordinary life for themselves, with all thoughts of their previous line of work just a distant memory. Getting away couldn't be that easy, though, and when someone leaves a tip about Muse A's location, a bounty is quickly placed on their head. Muse B is quick to track Muse A down with the new information, but not to kill them like the orders say. All Muse B wants is an explanation for why their old partner left them behind.

  003. Muse A is a magical being who, at one point or another, pissed off the wrong god and ended up sealed away. They stayed that way until Muse B, an ordinary person, accidentally broke the curse and set them free. Muse A is elated at their newfound freedom, but they quickly find that quite a lot of time has passed since they were originally sealed. Muse B ends up as their reluctant guide to the modern world.
  **open to either muse. we can brainstorm together about what kind of magical being muse a is, and this could be adapted to a more traditional fantasy setting as well!
  
  004. Muse A just landed what seems like a pretty cushy gig: The graveyard shift at their local 24-hour laundromat. Few customers come in after dark, and they're perfectly fine with the late hours if it means getting paid to goof off unsupervised. Even if the building gets a little creepy, all alone... They soon meet Muse B, a late-night regular who's somewhere between captivating and off-putting in every interaction. Sure, Muse B has a strange lack of knowledge about the modern world, and sure, they only come out after dark, and sure, they're excessively pale and eyeing Muse A's neck more with every visit- but it's not like they could actually be a vampire, or anything!

  005. Amidst rising tensions between rival kingdoms and increasing assassination attempts against the royal family, everyone fears for the safety of Muse A, the next in line for the throne. This fresh paranoia leads to the imprisonment of Muse B, a witch who specializes in potions, including deadly poisons. They claim to have no involvement in the recent attempts on Muse A's life, and instead propose a deal to benefit the crown: Becoming Muse A's personal food taster, and sniffing out any attempts at poisoning. As royal and attendant, the pair both have their lives at stake in trying to discover enemies to the crown.
