Good question! Yeah, I would say late teens to even early twenties if they were the ones destined for "Victoria's School for Wayward Girls." Of course, if you want to make a younger character you always can. If you want to make an older character, we'll catch them in Castmere or The Wilds/somewhere else in the world.

They're fully aware! Druid Isle has been a home to magical creatures for years. There are even centaurs in these lands. The Witches' Cottage is a safe place for young apprentices. I think most of the townies would have a grasp on magic as well, and some of the townies may even be more skilled at magic than the new apprentices.
