  I’m looking for one new partner to write some retrofuturistic cyberpunk shenanigans with. I pull inspiration from the likes of Neuromancer, Technobabylon, Hardwired, and Blade Runner. I value a certain degree of ‘realism’ that’s sometimes missing from the genre. I enjoy focusing on the dystopian aesthetic and reality as opposed to relying on flashy pew-pews and explosions to carry the story. I’m not particularly interested in new age cyberpunk such as Edgerunners, 2077, or Shadowrun. too much booba and not enough dystopia

  You can call me ‘Luscin’. I’m a hobbyist author and artist, as well as a full-time college student in the IT field. My writing style can best be described as ‘gibbson and tolkien had an ugly rat bastard child that was shoved into a dark corner until lovecraft found and adopted it.’ Which is, to say, that I abuse gritty prose, narrative snark, and often go on tangents about irrelevant things. It is what it is.
  
  You can expect about 1200-2000 word posts from me. Sometimes less, usually more. I post about once a week. I like talking to my partners. I pull most of the worldbuilding weight in 99% of my RPs, so I’m more or less accustomed to leading the plot. I have multiple prebuilt cyberpunk universes available if you don’t feel like bothering with it, but I’m also happy to collaborate on something new if you are actually interested.
  
  I am disabled with a neurological condition that can and will kick my ass when it flares up. I may disappear for days, or even weeks at a time and be unable to check in during that period. I may make the call to put the RP on hiatus if my episodes become out of control. If this is a deal breaker, turn away now. I have no control over my condition and value my health over RP.   • 17+ only. My characters and content often deal with adult themes such as violence, drugs, gore, and other grimdark scenarios.
  • My post schedule is highly inconsistent. I am not a fast post writer. Please interact only if you are okay with slower posts at around 1-2 times a week, and occasional periods where I may take even longer. I will extend the same courtesy and patience to you.
  • Share the workload. I am a very well-versed GM, but this does not mean I want to write a story for you that just so happens to involve your character. Please be prepared to contribute through side plots, NPCs, or otherwise helping to direct the plot.
  • My characters are all premade and can and will be used in other RPs. They're also all gay. deal with it nerd
  • I am ghost friendly. Go if you want to go, and return if you want to.
  • NO CODE. I have a hard enough time reading the basic text here as it is lol
  • Be friendly! I’m here to make friends. I don’t want a strictly transactional business exchange where the only form of interaction we have is posting back and forth. I want to talk to you, share memes, shitpost…my most successful RPs have been with people who I can get along with.
  • NO STOLEN ART. I expect the art you use for your characters to be credited and for you to have permission to use it. This is non-negotiable. I will write with a plain text character long before I write with someone who steals.

  No, I do not expect you to match my posts. All I ask for is an equal level of commitment and effort (i.e don’t have me scrambling to play five side characters, the antagonist, and everything else while you play a single, passive character) So long as your writing and character have more personality than a wet piece of walmart-brand cardboard, we can probably make it work.
  
  I have zero expectations for posting schedules. Do it once a month, if it pleases you. i really don't care. I also don't really care if you ghost. I'm not your boss. If you're not vibing, you're not vibing. A heads up is nice, but I'm not going to write scathing call-out threads if you don't. If you change your mind later, just shout and we can pick things back up. again, i really don't care about that sort of stuff. it's for fun.
  
  I do, however, expect you to contribute to some degree, whether that be through plot ideas, side characters, or otherwise helping direct the story. Also it'd be nice if you were nice to talk to. dead ooc threads kinda kill my vibes for the rp ngl

  **Cyberpunk Noir: Inspired by Observer and Technobabylon. Two dipshits set out to solve crime and do...other things. Important detective things. Maybe there's a serial hacker on the loose. Maybe they have to track down a red market running a organ trafficking scheme. I've got a couple detective characters that I could use for this. I figure this is suitable for anyone who wants something more lowkey.
  
  Corporate Regime: Ooo, spicy rivalry. Arch nemeses. Two corpo dogs. Maybe they're fighting for the same position in the company. Maybe they're from different, competing companies and engage in some Spy vs. Spy nonsense. Maybe it's Maybelline.
  
  LOUSIANA SWAMP ELECTRIC BOOGALOO: Inspired by NORCO. 1970s cyberpunk Louisiana. Giant mutant gators. Good food. Funny accents. Urban sprawl threatening to overtake the wild swamps. Perhaps our dumb protagonists deign to run the corpos out of their beloved gator-hell. Or they just do swamp shenanigans. That's an option, too.
