What if you had the chance to go back in time and stop a mad scientist from bringing about the Dystopian times you grew up in?
Dr Duncan Moran - Born a prodigy in Chemistry, Physics and Applied Science. Double doctorate by age 15, two Nobel Prizes at age 17. Made miniature fusion power and fusion rockets possible. The details are sketchy, but he was also born into a troubled youth ending in gang violence and the death of his family on July 31, 2025. He was almost 16 years old at the time. He was adopted by a wealthy couple, Dr Jonathan and Isabelle Miller.
He would later assassinate his adoptive parents to become the sole heir of billions. He was ultimately hunted down and placed in a Supermax facility. But not before some of his technology found itself in the hands of terrorists.
His fusion rockets made hypersonic missiles commonplace. It also brought about the realization of the Kessler effect, which ended satellite technology, GPS, the internet, etc. These troubles snowballed to speed up global warming. In your time, waters have risen 60 meters, displacing the world's coastal population, cascading into wars over territory and food.
The Plot
Dr Moran’s parents will be assassinated by a terrorist bombing in Paris, while they are celebrating their 40th anniversary on Jul 15, 2035.
The current date is somewhen between 6/11/2027 (his HS graduation in Albuquerque, NM, age 17) and 7/15/2035 (parents assassination in Paris, age 25).
Everything goes to crap around 2039.

I am looking for a female around Duncan’s age. Her mission is to go back and stop Dr Moran before he destroys the planet. Your age will sort of depend on when you want your character to arrive - whether it is the expected date or not. You should also be thinking about how your character will survive in the past. She will also have no way home. Your training will depend on the nature of how you go back in time. We will need to discuss that first.
You will need to create a CS.
