Retiring on Making Role-Play

Felkis Armata

Guess this character in my avatar.
I am not really leaving, but I am demoting myself to retire making role-play for now. I tried making a specific plot for the roleplay and putting efforts of making it, but my day wasted, Making role-plays for a few days of making, but not until I haven't got the players interested with the roleplays I made previously. When it all comes to zero interest, I get zero players who only saw my role-play and just only saw the plot and no relies is given, negatively leaving me with only the people looking up the plot I just created. I am not really smiling and my optimism is gone, which means I am giving up making role-play, which my plot is rendered bad and not understandable to the viewer's opinion.

I am no longer making these roleplays and they are a big waste of time. I even post for the Interest Check and no one seems to reply back, like they are avoiding me or I am just a living disease to this Role-playing Community. I don't feel happy and I am no longer smiling. Players who ignore it and I just got the feeling that they would do that. I had put my efforts of having these role-plays I created the roleplay, putting in extra efforts of making it and in the end, they have been ignoring me, leaving me with a neglected in my role-playing life.

I will join some of your RPs if that will make you feel better. I don't want you to feeling ignored...I am sure you have great plots and anyone who avoids them or doesn't join them, is their loss. not yours.

It's already too late. It's not worth it. There is no chance of bringing my roleplay alive for now. I am very uncertain with the role-players who are just reliable to me. The reason that I am not smiling is the people who are lying.

I didn't just feel neglected, I just wanted some fun and enjoy myself in several roleplays I made. But they are still avoiding me and the role-play and that's it. It's not like I wait for the role-players to join in, it's the players who are interested in the style and the way that I made them. I am not making the roleplay and that's not going to happen.

I tried every trick to making these role-plays, but never get the interest of the roleplay, unfortunately. Some of the role-players think my role-play needs to be thrown in the trash. Or the role-players think I am just some useless bastard who needs to leave RpNation. I cannot afford to leave this website, I used to enjoy here in making roleplays, back in a decade ago. In today, I am feeling uneasy and still not smiling, having role-players avoiding me and my roleplays are inefficient and worthless.

I would never lie to you. I stay committed to a RP and don't suddenly disappear without telling you...I at least try to post once a day but if you feel that you don't want to RP anymore then that is fine. I just wanted to help and try to get your RPing spirit back..and hopefully have you smiling again.

Your roleplays aren't efficient or worthless. Don't ever say that, you just need to find the right people who are willing to stay committed to a rp or several RPs. If you were still willing to RP, I would love to do so since I love RPing ^^

If somebody is being openly mean to you on this site by making rude comments on your creations, you should report it to the staff.

I'm not sure if you were doing group or one on one RPs, but when it comes to groups I've completely given up on those. I've done some on this site and will never do it again, unless I specifically know the people and can openly tell them to post instead of blocking the entire story for other group members. I really have zero patience for group RPs because of people who hype about things and then abandon. That happens in one on ones as well, but in that case I just take the same story and put it out for grabs again for someone who really wants to do it. And when I spot the unreliable people who drop without a word, I remember the names and don't role play with them anymore. Very simple and efficient!

This site is so big and deep that I'm sure there are people here who would love to RP with you, but who just haven't seen your requests. So instead of feeling bad because of a few strangers on the Internet that you don't even know in real life, pick yourself up and go out there and do some RPs. Don't let those people get you down. You really, really shouldn't.

Fortunately, I didn't got negative comments from any role-players. But the role-players are keeping themselves from making rude comments, but they think about me, negatively.

I haven't heard that kind of topic you made there In the second paragraph. I do understand every sentence, except the "Just take the same story and put it out for grabs again for someone who wants to do it" part. I may know the reasons that unreliable players who are just lazy or either tired with the role-play. I may have looked out for the role-players who are going to drop without a word, which they are unreliable. So, I am not still going to make a role-play, meaning that I am uncertain with the role-players who are resourceful or either they are just getting tired with me.

Should I trust with newer players than the other role-players who are unreliable to me? I may know new players are coming here today. I just go to the participate roleplays than making one through. I am not going to make one role-play that is going to be leaving me with no relies.

Unless someone has given you negative or rude comments, how can you be so sure that they think negatively of you?

Most likely, they just get busy or lose interest, which has nothing to do with how they feel about you.

What you are going through is something that just about every roleplayer deals with. You're always going to have people who drop out, but don't let that ruin your experience. (:

In the few months I have been here, I have planned somewhere close to 50 roleplays with people. Out of those 50, only 7 of those roleplays have lasted.

Doing a roleplay with someone takes a certain amount of trust that they will be dedicated to the roleplay.

One thing you can try doing is one on ones. Once you have found a few roleplay partners that have proven themselves to be reliable, you can start a group roleplay with them.

It'll take some work to find those reliable people, but once you do, it will have been so very worth it<3.
