Restored Keys [Azecreth & Sloof]

The World. A wide, all encompassing expanse that included the various stars and worlds amongst them. Light, Darkness, Nothingness, each had their place as the worlds stood. Once upon a time they had been isolated, but the connections had been restored, and they no longer stood alone.

It had been years since the Great Conflict, where Sora, Riku, Kairi, and their companions stood against Organization XIII and Xehanort, to prevent the destruction of the universe. They had succeeded, and the World had remained as it was.. But just because they had succeeded did not mean that things had remained the same. More Keyblade Wielders had emerged, to take up the torch and ensure peace between the worlds.

Alexander Kincaid wasn't one of those, at least not yet. A student himself, he was an upperclassman at this point, and drawing steadily closer to graduation, when he would be able to step out into the world, and either attend an academy, or go off on his own into business. Either would be fine, and he had not yet reached a decision on what it was that he wanted to do.

The young man stood near his school in Radiant Gardens, nary a dark thought on his mind. He was merely looking forward to the afternoon ahead and the fun that would be included with it. After a hard day of school there was nothing better, and he was looking forward to relaxing for now.

Still, he had to plan what to do, and eventually he did manage to do so. With a bag slung around his shoulder he walked off, headed towards the nearby arcade (one of many which had sprung up after Radiant Gardens had been liberated) Time to go enjoy himself, and the time that he had before he had to go tend to schoolwork. It definitely wasn't going to be difficult to do so, that was for sure.

Anna Redfield smiled as she waved her friends goodbye. School had finally finished, and the young woman had decided to go home. Her friends had offered to go out somewhere, but Anna had politely declined. She started walking, her hand holding the bag with her books and other school supplies. Living on the other side of town, she'd have to walk for about half an hour before she'd get there. Luckily Radiant Gardens was a peaceful town, much different from when it was called Hollow Bastion all those years ago. They all knew the stories about the Keyblade wielder Sora saving this world with his friends. It had always seemed like something wonderful to her, to travel between worlds and make a difference. But it was a life not meant for her. She would stay in this world and take over the shop after her mother becomes unable to. It wasn't a future she was looking forward to, but there was no one else to do it. Despite that, she wanted to go attend the academy. She wanted to know more, a thirst for knowledge filling her body.

Alexander hadn't gotten very far from the school before he caught sight of another person walking along in roughly the same direction as him. He had seen her around the school before, though they had never really conversed all that much. He had just been busy with other things, and she didn't seem like the type who would be interested in him and the sorts of things that he did. But perhaps that was just his own impression, which he would easily admit might be wrong.

"Hello," he said, making his way over and giving her a wave at the same time. He was in a good mood, and wasn't in any particular hurry to get where he was going. "I don't think we've met before, but we go to the same school right? I'm Alexander." Okay, so not the best opening, but hopefully it wouldn't scare her off anyway.

Anna look over as she heard a male's voice, seeing him wave at her. She had seen him before at school, but never really talked to him. He seemed nice, but she never reached out to him - didn't have the guts, really. She was too shy to just walk up to a guy and introduce herself. But here he was, calling her and introducing himself.

Anna smiled softly, turning to face him. "That's right, we're in the classrooms next to each other. I'm Anna." Her smile brightened a little as she introduced herself. "It's nice to meet you."

Ah, well then, that confirmed what he had suspected. Anna seemed like a nice person, as far as Alexander could tell, and it was rapidly becoming obvious that this had been a good idea, as he fell into step with her while they moved along the sidewalk. Nothing might come of it, but it would be a nice distraction for the time being, and that was what mattered.

"Likewise," he agreed with a nod of his head, grinning at the same time. "So, where are you headed?" He doubted that they were headed to the same place, but there was nothing wrong in finding out.

Anna glanced at Alexander as they walked, a little surprised by his question. Though she supposed she could have seen it coming - what else were they going to talk about? "Oh, I was just heading home. My friends asked me to go to the karaoke bar with them, but it's not my thing so I don't have anything else to do." She didn't know why she told him that, maybe so she had something to say? She quickly changed the subject. "What about you?"
