"Hello.... Hello yes Mayor? We're sending Alpha Team out now to search for Bravo Te-- what? Wait... are you sure about this? Yes Mayor. As you wish, Operation Biohazard is officially a go."
The Arklay Mountains. Located northwest of Raccoon City, it's a popular hiking and camping destination frequented regularly by Raccoon's nature-loving populace as well as the tourists to the area. Most of the Arklay region is unused and is almost completely covered with heavy vegetation. The Arklay Mountains are classified as temperate hardwood forest, with the region being dominated by Pine trees, Maple trees, Oak trees and other native plant life such as Raccoon City's signature colored herbs that are famously used for medicinal purposes both locally and abroad. It was what made the city and area popular in the first place. Hikers were known to disappear into the mountains only to never be seen again. Either due to being lost in the thick fog that often envelopes the forest or being unaccounted for by peers or family altogether. A recent string of bizzare and grisly reports of found bodies being ripped and eaten apart in conjunction with disappearances queued Mayor Micheal Warren & The Raccoon City Police Department to formulate its Special Tactics And Rescue Squadron, or STARS for short to investigate these claims and events. Bravo Team was sent out to gather intelligence and recon the area for any further knowledge on the occurrences. That was hours ago, and when Bravo Team failed to make contact after a sudden lapse in communication, things are now only becoming more grim.
More than anyone would ever know, at least until it was too late. That's why you're here.

What are we looking at here?
STARS is comprised of the finest and most elite military and enforcement men and women there is to offer. But here are the facts. Bravo Team is missing. Alpha Team is currently under orders to locate and provide status on them. But us... we're on our own orders. We're Zeta Team, a team of the most truly fearsome and potent operatives that the world has never known. We are technically STARS, but we operate with a shadow jurisdiction. Alpha and Bravo team are the public image... but us, we are the hideous truth that stays in the dark. We may not have known each other long, but each person's reputation proceeds them, and I have no doubt we will embody the absolution Mayor Warren privately tasked us for. Mount up, and get ready... we're going on our first mission, and I have it on good authority it's going to be unlike anything you've ever trained for. Operation Biohazard is now in phase.

Okay so if you made it through all of that, then hi! Lol. That was just a plot setup for the scope of the RP. Basically this will be a reboot of the franchise starting from the beginning, added with an addition of a secret STARS sector called Zeta Team who will very much experience the events and horrors of the canon Resident Evil characters. Our characters will be OC's however and will operate with our own set of missions and objectives as we delve into a dark horror RP focused on what made the series so terrifying in the first place! Just a few things for this interest check to run by to further clarify some things:

- Long Term Commits Only!
- As stated above the characters of the RP and on Zeta Team will be OC's
- I'm changing the Timeline for this RP from 1998 to 2018
- May make this choose your own path type of RP that leads to various scenarios and to add suspense and more tense horror.
- Roles will be available for you to base a character around if you like much like STARS had on Alpha and Bravo Teams. I myself will be playing Rear Security (The Jill Valentine of Zeta by comparison)
- Mission Leader (field commander of the team)
- Pointman (field scouting and reconnaissance timelines)
- Backup Man (provides assistance to the Pointman)
- Omni Man (in charge of vehicle and weapon maintenance)
- Rear Security (in charge of establishing contact between the headquarters and the exfil & contingency, as well as treating injured teammates).
- Specialist: More slots can be opened for specific things like Pilot, Sharpshooter, Engineer, etc.
- Captain Z will be available to play with a FC of Micheal Keaton if anyone wants to play him.
- Canon interactions are possible, not sure if they will be explored yet though.
- Lore and such will remain the same, only the timeline is different.
