Name: Ethan Piers

Age:
Ten and nine.

Race:
Solari

Years spent in Renva:
Three

Curriculum:
Science of Combat, aka: "Knight"

Origin Kingdom:
Solaran Empire

Biography:
Born the only child to a Marvin and Careen Piers, both members of the Sun Guard, it was more or less expected of Ethan to continue the tradition, and take up the golden helm as well. Even as a child, Ethan valued morality very highly, and found himself much like a schoolyard guard in his own right, tracking down lost belongings, and often dealing with the antagonistic types, violently if necessary.

Moving around as his parents did, Ethan spent brief periods of time all over the empire, always finding himself as the tiny champion of justice wherever they went.

Whether he intended it or not, Ethan often became the unofficial leader of small groups of like-minded youths wherever he was. At ten years of age, Ethan earned his identifying scar, a mark that his father tells him to always remember, and be proud of.

"A man must carry pride behind why he earns his marks, but not behind the marks themselves," the man had said, words that Ethan carries very dearly. A young man, by all appearances nearly an adult, had accosted several young children of their valuables and coin, and thought it amusing to lord the fact over them. When the children all ran crying, they knew who to turn to, not to their parents, or to the guards, all six of these children held faith in Ethan, another boy of the same age as themselves.

While the fight that inevitably followed left the younger of the combatants bloody and bruised, it also left him standing. While he'd emerged victorious that time, it hadn't been his place, and, as his parents were so intent to remind him, it was perfectly alright to have told someone more powerful than himself.

While geographical location delayed Ethan's entry to Renva by a year, he took quickly to many concepts, and found himself among the top in most of his classes. By the time the students moved into close combat and mixed unit tactics, he truly showed his skill, and was quickly selected for the Knight curriculum, maintaining a high average therein. The last two years have seen considerable growth for Ethan, mostly in restraint, as his greatest difficulty in the past has been knowing when not to fight. The point that has remained most consistent in Ethan's education has been his savvy with the sword, as he very rarely loses, even when he does, it is a hard earned victory for his opponent.

Now in what is likely to be his last year at Renva, Ethan's goal among the Sun Guard is nearly in sight.

character_study02_by_tahra-d4vfk1l.jpg

Ethan has a notably athletic build, and can be easily identified by a relatively straight scar running directly from the corner of his left brow perhaps an inch or so toward his hairline. Piercing steel grey eyes offset the blonde hair so typical in the empire. While Ethan keeps his hair relatively short, somehow it manages to look perpetually like he's just gotten out of bed with a prominent cowlick to the right side of his brow. At slightly under six feet tall, Ethan is of relatively average height.

Name: Lucis Renovamen

Age: 22

Race: Solari

Years spent in Renva:
2

Curriculum: Science of Combat

Origin Kingdom: Corekin Dominion

Biography: Lucis's original citizenship all depends on a person's perspective. He was born in the territory the territory of the Corekin Dominion, then he was nursed in the Southern Alliance, and he spent most of his life growing up on the border of Solaran and Alliance territory. He grew up with war all around him, each battle of different faces, each being people he had once thought his kin. The first faces he saw were those of the Corekin Dominion, those of his mother's family. Then he during his nursing, he saw around him, those of the many members of the Alliance, as well he saw them fighting the faces of the Corekin. That confused him greatly. Further more, during his travels through the Alliance territory his father was killed. His father was recognized as a Sun Guard, and was slain by Alliance members, the people that helped nurse him to be strong. Sadly, this left Lucis and his mother no way to enter the inner areas of Solaran, so he and his mother were stuck in the bordering cities, leaving Lucis to continue growing up surrounded by war.

He grew up and was taught properly, his education was not very strong, but it was well enough for him to understand what was going on. He soon enough joined with the Imperial Army at the young age of 16. Surprisingly, he was successful with his ways of fighting and would not die by any means. He grew up strong and war hardened, as well he grew up with compassion and patience. He had mercy for the people who nursed him and gave him the body that he had. He understood that the war was not his, this was was between others, he was simply making ends meet for his mother and himself. So he continued, he refused to join in on the assaults on the Alliance, he only joined as a defensive support. Due to his refusal of higher officers, he was discharged and out of the job by the time he was 18. For two more years, he served under a mercenary band, they taught him things more properly, and with them he attacked either side for coin.

His mother died when he was 20, and so he had lesser connections to Corekin. He was allowed into the inner sanctums of Solaran, and finally his name was enough to give entry to at least one school. He entered Renva, and spent two years poised on learning and studying, spending no time searching for allies or friends, or even a reputation. He wanted to be a Sun Guard, to be his father, he did not want to be a child of all nations.

More or less exactly like that. Stands five foot ten,and weighs 180 pounds.

Origin Kingdom: Corekin Dominion

Background: Neurelion was born in the Corekin Dominion, that much is true. He admits this fact unrepentantly, just as unrepentantly as he states that, yes,he is indeed Drakon. Whenever asked,Neurelion states that his parents taught him to do what he believes is right,no exceptions. To that end,he left his home nation in the dead of night. To him, fragmenting from the core empire was wrong. How can you kill the Blight Queen if you cannot reach her, after all?

When it comes to the faith of the Sun Father,he adopts a very firm "Deeds, not words" stance, and will always question demands made of him, always asking "How does this further the will of the Sun Father? Is the answer 'Because he said so'? If so,is it right?" That last step, however,he keeps to himself. Privately,he doesn't think much of the religion around the Sun Father, and only plays along to keep his head firmly on his neck.

Upon arrival to the Solaran Empire,Neurelion instantly found himself among the many urchins of the empire, and he eventually found himself in Rakien itself, where he proceeded to make a nuisance of himself by conning people from their money, and being altogether impossible to pin anything on. One day,he actually managed to swindle a hefty sum from one of the Emperor's Arcanum Knights, and when he realized this, the Knight immediately tracked him down, and dragged him, kicking and screaming,to Renva,as he felt that if someone was able to swindle one of the empire's elite, they had a gift for something.

The early tests were insanity,to say the least. However, through a combination of determination, natural talent, and a little luck,Neurelion passed every entrance exam thrown at him. After his first year,it became obvious that the Arcanum Knight that dragged him here was onto something; Neurelion was taking in the facts faster than they could be provided, with a particular aptitude for magic,as is characteristic of his people.

Over the following two years,Neurelion had taken enormous strides in his magical studies, and his practice sessions often made the drill squares resemble some alien land. It was during this time, however, that Neurelion began approaching the instructors for the Science of Combat curriculum, asking to learn from them the methods of steel. He has since become adept in the use of small and medium axes; weapons that would see numerous uses in the Sun Guard.

"All you do is praise the Sun Father. What have you ever DONE for him? Can you name even one thing? I thought not."

Neurelion Schandmaul,

Now I suppose I should be congratulating you on entering the academy. However, you have not really proven yourself except swindle the money of an Arcanum Knight. You were dragged here against your will, but I do hope you show promise, I would hate to discredit the Knight with news of your incompetence.

You are a rare case and I hope you consider yourself blessed in being given this opportunity. The instructors here work everyone to the bone and I do hope you will last under their intense instruction. My people say you are a Drakon, I pray that you maximize your stay here in Renva, you owe yourself that much before your body decides to expire or worse. Welcome to Renva Institute, the site of your reformation.

Do well and prove your worth to the Empire and its denizens. May the Sun Father bless your difficult path.

Sincerely yours,

Geralt Rivers

"What is there to tell? I was, as known, born to Jaraum Haynn and Clarissa Desmond in the Imperial Capital. It was an interesting life as a child, I'd have to admit, with all those balls and dinners. The people there, well the rich, had a taste for masquerades and I didn't. It was scary not to know who was behind the mask. Especially since every single one of them wore invisble ones all the time. My friends were ridiculous, they only sat next to me; gossiping about the latest news and the only reason they were even in my presence was because my father is, as known, an Arcanum Knight."

"There are a few rumors going around about you... And I was wondering i-"

"If they were true? Of course not! I got in here with my skills not my connections and quite honestly, do you believe I would be allowed to skip a grade if I had the dishonor to be donated in here? And I do also believe that you guys have seen my abilities.... If you are talking about those other rumors... I... Yes, I was once in love and now I stay away from men. Why? Well we both know why, since they care more about how to impress my father then me, they care for the money I had in my savings and the gold my father would grant the one that took my hand. That is why."

"Is it possible that this former love of yours was Mister Lea?"

"Are you a fool? Or am I deaf? Why would this, money-loving, none-caring idiotic former love of mine be to my fathers partner? My dear uncle! I can tell you this, he isn't because he is like my father... Perhaps not exactly like my father as he actually cares for me... He is my father, my role model and if anything my very best friend! Do not turn him into some kind of hypocritical greedy man when he is not, he is like my father in position. Both are Arcanum Knights and so WHY IN SOLARA would he need anything from me?!"

"I'm sorry, please calm down... But... Are you seeking the position of becoming an Arcanum Knight?"

"You ask the most foolish questions and yes it is my goal. Though... If this is a simple health check... You should know I have been recommended by an Arcanum Knight, Lea, already and this interview of yours is quite detailed..."

"Not at all! I-I just asked follow up questions after the fir-rst!"

Name:
Lina Ar'Ithan

Age: 23

Race: Alfan

Years spent in Renva: None (New Student)

Curriculum: Most likely to be Science of Combat.

Origin Kingdom: Southern Alliance

Biography:

Lina is an Alfan, she was born in the lands of The Southern Alliance. She belonged to the Ithan clan; a tribe of Alfan who roam the more forested areas. The Ithan are one of the longest lasting clans, owing to their long lives and their proficiency in battle. They are not a hostile tribe but a guarded one, too many times in the past have they fallen to the folly of trust wrongly placed. Too often have the Ithan fallen at the hands of clans once thought friends and neighbors, clans who were once as close to family as any in the southern lands could ever by.

Long ago, the Ithan were one of the first tribes to come to the Warlord's side, he called and they answered. Among many they are known as fierce fighters and that their women are even more fierce in the bed. Lina's father Caesir certainly found the truth of it. He wooed Dinaveir; the former chief's daughter. Day after day, he sought to prove himself in her eyes but he was not a warrior nor was he a hunter. No, he was a thatcher. His responsibilities lay in keeping the clans' huts in good shape. He had a talent; no other could thatch a roof so well that not even a speck of moisture would leak out for half a year.

Dinaveir however, she did not appreciate his skills. Truly he was the veritable laughing stock of the tribe. The warriors and hunters mocked him for his seemingly useless skill. Very few truly appreciated him and his kindly ways, children loved him for he was a storyteller, even the elders came to hear his stories and they were the keepers of Ithani History. But everyday he would bring Dinaveir single Whimsy Blossom. They were her favourites and everyday he would leave them at her window never letting her know it was he who delivered them.

The time came and the former chief announced that his daughter would be married to the most capable man in the village. A competition would be held and contestants would compete in six events that would prove who was the most capable man in the village. Caesir joined without a second thought. The first event was a round robin tournament. Long story short Caesir was pummeled to a pulp though he and his opponent both left the ring on good terms. The second event entailed catching the fattest hare within the time limit and yet again he returned dead last with naught but a bleeding thumb to show for his efforts. Things were not going well for Caesir. The third event was a test of endurance, all the contestants were sent into the forest with the barest of essentials, the man who spent the longest in the forest alone would win. Caeris lasted all of tree days before returning hungry and ear dead. Luckily for his trouble; Caeris had beat two other men, one of whom died of a wolf attack.

The thatcher had lost hope, deep in his heart he had given up on the woman of his dreams. He forfeited the competition and admitted his defeat, no longer did he leave Wimsy blossoms at Dinaveir's window. Instead he returned to his job. Months later when his broken heart had mended, he met a pretty girl by that name of Lyla. She was a basket weaver. Lina was born 9 months later, she was a lively child, even more so as she grew older and older. Lina had the fire of a warrior in her heart and when she was old enough she entered the Youngling's tournament where those children who wished to become warriors would fight and show their potential as future Ithani warriors.

Lina won 2 out of three rounds, unlike the other children her parents were not warriors and she could not train. The chief did not pick her out of the many combatants and she too had her dreams crushed just like her father. She returned home her face raw with the tears of her disappointment ad failure. Caesir knew exactly what his daughter was going through. Caesir went out that same night, he didn't say where he was heading, nor did he say when he would be back.

Three days later Caesir returned with a woman clad in armor. Lina's father had hired a mercenary, she would train Lina the basics of combat science, then she would take Lina to Renva Institute. Merallen became Lina's hero and teacher that night. They both left the Ithani behind. Her parents mourned for her departure but they knew she was going to fulfill her dream of being a warrior.

Lina Ar'Ithan,

I bid you welcome to the Renva Institute. I had heard of the circumstances regarding your entry into the institution and I find most interesting that such an individual could match one of our fine students. I know full well that you took a different initiation than the other applicants but you have proven yourself to the instructors, at least one of them. Your recommendation from the Sun Paladin's relative was a very weighty factor that led to your acceptance into this school. I would say that those two, the fact that you impressed an instructor, and the fact that you trained under someone related to the Sun Paladin's illustrious family is more than enough evidence that you would survive in this harsh environment.

We look forward to honing your unique potential. May the Sun Father bless us all.

Sincerely yours,

Biography/ Ethan comes from a long line of very skilled warriors, who have not seen defeat in battle with a sword. Ethan himself though had gone to his first sword class really cocky expecting to be the best in class due his family history. But when he got to the class and challenged the top student he ended up getting his butt kicked lost and felt ashamed because he had lost and felt that he was not good enough for his family. So Ethan decided to train harder than any student ever had at the institute ever in history.

Curriculum:
Art of The Arcane

Origin Kingdom: Solarian Empire.

Biography: Bevilion was born within the Solarian empire. His father was an Arcanum Knight through the Daimas family who had paid for his entrance into the academy. Bevilion never wanted to be noticed by his father's name nor did he want special attention at the academy. The child already had enough talk about him as he was able to create his own elemental armor due to the knowledge and being a prodigy offspring of his father. His goals are to achieve a rank within the Arcanum knights through his own might as to prove his worth for something by his own name, not by the respect of his father.

Bevilion is rash at times due to not wanting to be like his father. The same blood and actions flow through him that his father had once taken. Constantly reminding him are the memories of training as a young child and the basics that his father could teach him. Burning like embers in a tortured soul, he only seeks to be known for who he is. Is that too much to ask? He thinks not. He will thrive to be the best even if giving his life is part of achieving his goals.

Bevilion Daimas,

I understand that there are unique circumstances regarding your entry into Renva. I do so hope that your father's faith in you isn't misplaced. The word of an Arcanum Knight carries weight and we have agreed to have your first year here in Renva as a probationary period. What that means is this: If by any reason you do not excel in your first year, we will send you back home along with all that gold "donated" by your father. I expect great things from the son of an Arcanum Knight. Welcome to Renva, the place that will help define you.

Do well and make your Empire proud of you. May the Sun Father illuminate your path.

Sincerely yours,

Geralt Rivers

Renva Institute Headmaster.
Miss Ezra Haynn,

I bid you welcome to Renva, your very own proving ground. I was informed that you had possessed much aptitude in the arcane arts as well as being able to survive Pavlo's combat trial. I am honored to mention that you would be the second person to last so long in a fight against our trained students, and like predecessor you were struck down by a blind sided attack. My people say that you wish to become eligible for the Arcanum Knight initiation, are you well aware of what you are asking for, are you well aware that we will work you to the bone and show you no mercy? Only the best become the Emperor's personal warriors, only the best prosper and survive in such a line of work. Skill can only take you so far before your wits are required of you. Hone your potential and sharpen your mind throughout your stay and we may just turn that lofty goal of yours as a reality.

Work hard and attain your dream. We will be testing you severely, so pray that the Sun Father lights your path to success.

Sincerely yours,

Geralt Rivers

*This RP will be up soonish.*
Name: Geralt Rivers

Age: 50

Race: Solari

Years spent in Renva: 25

Position: Headmaster

Origin Kingdom: Solaran Empire

Biography:

Geralt Rivers is the current Headmaster of the Renva Institute located in the center of the Solaran Kingdom. He attained the position through the recommendation of the late Walter Berkens, the previous Headmaster who had perished in a skirmish defending the city of Arkanos Bane from a large marauding tribe from the South. The position was thrust onto young Geralt over 20 years ago.

Since the beginning of his term he has radically changed the way Renva accepts students. It was, in fact, his idea that allowed the Drakon and Alfan to enter Renva. Previously, only Solari were allowed to enter Renva and discriminated against the other two races. However, some still voice their opposition in the entry of such "ignorant peoples" into the esteemed institution. Worse still was the opposition he faced when moving to allow those from the Alliance and the Dominion to join. It was understood that before one is able to join they must take residency within Solara for at least 5 years and face a different set of trials for their entry.

Geralt was an alumnus of Renva who was working with the Sun Guard before he was elevated to his status as the institution's headmaster. He was the son of the wealthy Rivers family who dealt with trade of goods that usually came from the Dominion during peace times. The trek to and from the Empire and Dominion was perilous which meant that Geralt and his siblings were taught basic combat when they could properly hold a sword. He entered Renva at urging of his family, he seemed to be the most skilled in combat among his siblings, it was a smart investment for his parents to send him to Renva to further hone his skill. Despite his busy position, he still keeps regular correspondence with the rest of his family.

He wasn't the one who motioned for the entry of Renva into the peacekeeping matters within the Empire but he supports the idea, so it would give the students some experience in the field of battle. There was a difference between killing an opponent as instructed by your book, drills and sparring practices versus actual combat with an equally terrified opponent who sees no other way out except through you.

Some people even say he has Imperial blood in him when Emperor Diomedes II had a bastard child, who then later on began the Rivers family. The Imperial blood had never manifested in any other members except for the Progenitor of the Rivers bloodline, Geralt may very well be the first one in a long time.

Name: Ruby Isis Cardinal

Age: 18

Race: Solari

Years spent in Renva: 2

Curriculum:
Art of the Arcane

Origin Kingdom: Solaran Empire

Biography:Ruby was born in a good family and began studying at a young age. Her mother, Susan May Cardinal, is a Sun Guard and often not at home while her father, Juane Nico Cardinal, works as a member of the Arcanum Knights. Growing up her parents were busy, and while they did love their daughter, Ruby understood from a young age that what both her parents did were important. Her father invoked her love of reading and it gave her something to do when she wasn’t studying for her scholastics or training when she could with her mother.

Though she praises and thanks The Sun Father, she is saddened by the terrible burden and strain thrown upon the people thanks to warring’s, petty sparring’s and of course The Blight Queen and her remnants. Her gift of magic was discovered at a young age when she got so mad at a character in a book that she unleased an ice spell that almost froze her solid if not for her father being able to save her. While her father knows fire magic and other offensive spells, Ruby knows a bit on some healing water spells and ice, though she’s particularly bad at fire.

Thanks to her mother she’s had some weapons training and a staff was given to her by her father. With her mother’s help Ruby was taught to use it, namely as a last resort way to defend herself. She can essentially use her staff in both hands as long range melee weapon or in one hand as a focus for spells. Ruby, as a young Channler, was freshly 16 when she was enrolled in Renva and she is a quiet sort, preferring to remain to her books than on making friends.

This however can get Ruby into trouble as there are times she can get lost in her book and wander somewhere else. Yet at the same token, she is still able to hold her own at least as far as petty criminals are concerned for a short time at least. It remains to be seen what she can do against a larger foe, or in a group at least.

Solaran empire

Biography:

Cursed with the usual docile appearance the females in her family posses, Lenore is generally quite the opposite. A girl with a long fuse but horrible temper she is quite strict in controlling herself emotionally and mentally. With quite the strange mind, Lenore often serves to confuse people to the core as she will rarely make sense. She can go on for hours about something that isn't true, questioning the oddest things. Why? This is a question that plagues many.

Her family itself follows the religion of the sun God devotedly. Many from her family are sent in hopes to graduating from the Institute to join the Imperial army or the Sun guard. It has become a tradition for the adults to apply their children once they believe that they are suitable to join or at the minimum age. For Lenore in this case, she was applied at sixteen. The reason? Simple because the girl quite liked avoiding joining to irritate her highly irritable father. Her mother had married into the odd family meaning she did not stay on the track that they had a habit of leading their members upon.

She spent her time between the age of fifteen and sixteen avoiding the place, mostly due to seeing how much she could rile up her father. The man was devoted to the empire and more than anything he was going to make his daughter. The Arcanum knight constantly attempted to get her to go for an interview or to even fill in the forms. However, it often resulted in the girl falling a sleep during his lectures or escaping before it could even begin.

He eventually won.

So, she applied and entered the institute and eventually took to the Art of the Arcane. The girl who is quite short in stature, docile and meek in appearance but strange with her words and thoughts spent two years there. Make no mistake, she took her curriculum seriously. However, Lenore is still Lenore and she still often appear as lazy, uncaring and bored despite her constant curiousity and love of learning. In short, most could not tell the difference between her emotions and she was held up in meetings or talks about her 'behavior'.

Want Proof?

~Flash back - A meeting with a teacher~

Unnatural red eyes stared at the wall with a blank gaze. One that could only be associated with the girls thoughts but as per usual she was misunderstood and once again had been forced to undergo the torture of a 'meeting'. Countless times her expressionless features had granted her the lovely pleasure of speaking with one of the teachers at the institute about her behavior. However, despite this, Lenore had always paid attention to detail in her classes and studies to the point she remained exhausted. Hence, it was harder to look at the emotion she expressed. To many times had she heard the lines. '
Lenore! Stop day dreaming and pay attention!' Of course, they would often be accompanied by a lecture on why she should be observant to the lesson.

Her chin was placed upon her knuckles, the fingers joined together finger by finger as she did not even dare shift her gaze away, far to intrigued by her strange thoughts. Over the ten minutes she had been waiting for the teacher to wander in she had pulled the dark crimson locks up, ignoring the fact that the strands would not stay stray, always spiked up in random directions. After a brief moment, she silently whispered under her breath, already hearing the echo of the teachers boots upon the floor, coming closer and closer with each second.
"I bet I can predict what he will say..."

Walking in, the man garbed in a outfit she had witnessed far to much he trudged over to the seat. The material was dragged mercilessly against the ground as he sat down, arms folded over his torso as he stared with a piercing blue gaze at the student he was more often than not forced to talk to. Lenore could be troublesome. He sighed before reaching up, gloved hands pinching the bridge of his nose as he look at her, waiting to see if she would speak. "Lenore, how many of these meetings have you been sent to me for?" His voice was gruff but he was one of the few teachers able to read the small girl. After a moment of thought, the girl leaning back as she sat up straight, staring back with opposing red eyes.

"This would probably be the fifth..."

After her reply, the man could only groan in annoyance at the blank tone, catching on to the faint guilt roaming her softly spoken words. Lenore was a student who worked hard and had the mind to excel, he knew that but others often ignored that or never saw it. He leaned back, placing one leg over the other as he felt a groan pass his lips. "Lenore." He stated sternly, catching the slight frown on her lips as she nodded. She was clearly thinking about another topic."What are you thinking?" He asked.

She felt her eyes slip open further as she parted her lips to speak, head tilting as crimson locks spilled across her shoulders by the movement. "I was thinking about the colour of the sky...then about the clouds...then about the history of our empire." She replied to him, placing her hands upon her lap as she looked down. Her mind often wandered to far into detail about any topic placed before her and by leaving her seated within the room for a good ten minutes, her mind had already began to question things. The man nodded before he began to speak once again, this time attempting to return to the topic at hand. "Well you ne-""Sir, do you wake up or open your eyes first?""H-hey! How is that even on topic Lenora!"

The red head looked over at him, blinking slightly as she sighed.
"Sorry sir." She replied softly, looking back at him as she let her thoughts resume upon the topic of why she was here. He raised a brow at the question she posed before nodding. "Okay, well, you need to start paying atten-""But si-""Yes, I know you do Lenora but you aren't the best at showing your emotions and so it seems like you are not. Just...try will you?" He asked with a slight glare, making the girl lean back up within the seat before he smiled slightly. "Good. You are dismissed." Mainly since he had other things to attend to other than Lenora.

Standing up, her hands resting upon the end of the polished table, pushing the chair back as she nodded. "Understood." Standing up properly she gave the teacher a small mock salute before she turned, the strap of the leather bag digging into the flesh of her shoulder as it weighed her down because of the mass of items she usually carried with her. Her steps were light, leaving a small tap to trace her path before she stopped at the door, hand upon the handle as she peered back at the teacher as he spoke. "Lenora Sullivan. I will have your answer to the question next time you are sent here. Although, I hope that you are not." She paused, tilting her head before she nodded. "Got it sir." She added before stepping out, closing the door behind her as she headed to her next lesson.

Origin Kingdom: Solaran Empire

Biography: Born to an affluent political family Krista, or Kris as most people close to her typically call her, took a decision rather unpopular to her family of joining public service through the Renva Institute. Having the best tutors in magic available to her in her youth she coasted through her first year there. However, she was unpleasantly surprised at the step up in the curriculum in her second year and nearly flunked out in the first half of the year. Under pressure not to further embarrass her family she focused her efforts over the second half she has managed to come back and is once again in respectable academic standing.

Considering most of the students at the Institute beneath her she socialized very little in her early time there, preferring to sneak off so she could consort with her usual friends prior to join. But with time she has drifted away from her old friends and come to see Renva more as her home. Her social circle there is relatively small but the friends that she does have she values quite a bit.

Appearance: Standing five feet and eight inches tall, Kris has a slender somewhat athletic build. She has an oval face with a pointed chin, small nose and blue eyes with black curly hair that comes down to just above her mid-back.

Accepted, last three names are under probation for the time being. Which means you just run your post by me via PM before posting it in the roleplay, until such time I think you're good enough without my guidance. I'll let you know when you're off the probation.

@DreadfulDragon

Still waiting on that sample PM if you are still interested.
pM i don't get what i'm supposed to do, i just thought that i would have to write a cs and wait to get accepted.

"*Please PM me an example post of any scenario with your character in it and what they'll be doing. I'll use that as your applicant's Entrance Test submission as was stated in the lore section. Or just put it here, as long as a sample exists of your skill at the time of the application.*"

This was just right there, below the CS skeleton on the first page.

Name: Kade Falk

Age: 19

Race: Solari....

Years spent in Renva: 3 years only.

Curriculum: The Knight Track, or if you prefer, The Science of Combat.

Origin Kingdom: Soloran Kingdom........

Biography: He is a dangerous fellow, since he was already arrested for many many things, and the sole reason for that was because he was living in the streets for the a small majority of his life, learning how to fight dexterously and use anything in arms reach to kill people or/and jump from roof tops to rooftops to various miscellaneous surfaces. That is, until, he met an Sun Guard officer (Who arrested him many times before). The man in question, who took pity on him, took him in, knowing how dangerous a man could be if not under proper guidance. Because of that, he is well versed in swords, but he thinks he could be better.

He wasn't interested in the religion of the Sun God. Even when he was hushed in by the man in a temple, he completely refused to participate in the processions. The Sun Guard officer gave up on that. Instead, they both concentrated on the art of combat, which Kade was really interested in. The officer had a Arcadum Knight who was his friend, who though him magic. They all got along well, but Kade preferred the Sun Guard officer.

When he wasn't dead.

The other guards took the news to him of his death. It was because of that, and guilt, that Kade went into the Academy, requesting an education. The Arcadum Knight took him under his wing and supported his decision.

-Interview held with him-

Interviewer: What did you think about the death of-

Kade: No. [he gives the man a glare and leaves]
