2 paragraph min. I’m lenient but not that lenient.
Use a nonrealistic pic
Please be nice to folks outside of the rp. Your characters can be brutes but that doesn’t mean you should be.
Flaws show creativity and ingenuity. No perfect characters with all the power
Remember there are children and fade to black when necessary
If something feels out of place or you are making the rp derail, I’ll confront you privately and we will see how we can fix this. If this happens, remember it’s not a personal attack. I just want this to last and be fun for everyone.
That being said, you are welcome to correct me too.

Name:
Celes Raynor
Age (16-30):
22
Gender:
Male
Sexuality (opt):
Pan
Appearance (anime, illustrated):
E9A2EF3B-111E-4005-87F6-6B85B971F17F.jpeg
Appearance description:
Standing at around 5’10, Celes is around average height but thin for his size. He has long light brown hair that’s always kept tied up in one way or another, and smaller, narrow grey eyes. He has delicate features for a man, with pale skin and a perpetual smile. If it wasn’t for his taller stature and voice, it would be hard to tell if he was male.
Powers (a couple, no OP I’m a hardass about it):
Sight:
Celes can touch and see through other living things, such as people, plants, and animals. The further away and the longer he holds that connection though, the more exhausting it is
Energy manipulation:
Celes can create electricity from his own energy and to fight with or create barriers. The downfall is it’s hard on Celes to keep it up
Healing:
with the same ability that allows Celes to manifest his energy, he can use it to heal other to an extent. The larger the injury, the more difficult
Other skills?:
not many
Celes is crafty, resourceful, and good at planning
He also knows basic first aid
Celes is fast, but not strong and he gets tired quickly
Crime:
Celes is an ex Bandit, stealing from carriages and preforming some larger heists as one of the best look outs around.
Personality:
Celes is not someone who would be trusted, nor trusts, easily. He seems to always be in a good mood, and has a tendency to downplay issues. He lies a good bit about his past and has a thing for dramatic flair. While this can be fun for and good in some instances, it can get old.
Celes is wreckless with himself in battle, not seeing to care what happens to him as long as he achieves his preferred outcome. Celes doesn’t trust easily but he will still care for complete strangers and try to be useful for others. In his mind, there is no reason for him to be alive unless it’s to help someone he’s grown to care about.
Sum up:
Celes is a big dork and only wants the best, but was also a pretty shady guy
Bio: Celes doesn’t know his birth parents. It was never a big deal to him. He was raised in the upper mountains of Frigidus , in a nomadic group of bandits and that’s the furthest back he could remember. The man who watched over him when he was young was Aster Raynor, a man who stole and pillaged with brute force who somehow lost his magic long ago, but had a soft spot for young children.
Celes spent most of his travels staying at camp and trying to hone in his abilities. It was quickly realized that Celes’ powers attacked his body like a disease and so Aster tried his best to keep him away from the missions. All the while, Aster was also searching for the Ancient Ruins in hope of finding out how to recover his magic and take Celes’ abilities away for his own good.
When Aster finally got close, having a good lead on where the artifacts of the ruins could be stored, he disappeared. Celes remembers being told to hold tight and wait for Aster to come back from scouting out new land, and never returning to camp. Celes decided at this point to finish what Aster started, and to join the bandits as a healer, scout, and last resort line of defense. It worked out for a bit, but Celes was fought when he didn’t have the strength to retreat during a failed heist at a nobles home.
Celes took the offer of freedom because he knew he would die young and wanted to find Aster and what his father figure was looking for before the time ran out.
Extra?:
Celes values family units and will parent your character to death be warned

Name: seven. alternatively could be written as se7en or zeven.

Age (16-30): unknown age.

Gender: agender/doesn't really go by one because seven itself is a mechanical robotic dragon, thus gender isnt a necessary concept for the creature.

Sexuality (opt): mechanical robot dragon. Prrrrobably loves everyone (but has its off days.)

Appearance (anime, illustrated): cartoonish, partly realistic. sketches of them/their concepts below.
tumblr_pdfbexstPW1xqi9pio1_1280.jpg tumblr_pddgyvwOHY1xqi9pio1_1280.jpg
Appearance description: comprised of a steel structure, was once supposedly a real dragon/dragon-like creature before being experimented on and transformed into a being meant to exude maximum happiness. eyes are meant to hypnotize, often is not particuarly successful. their teeth are sharp, and needlelike, with their mouth almost always dripping with excessive oil. not to mention their mouth always resembles a smile, hence why it is stitched upwards to keep the creature from providing any other emotion besides joy. their claws are comprised of seringes filled with an unknown, liquid substance, it hardly ever escapes the beings own claws, however. its horns are metallic, as are its scales, and its lower half is covered over with a shiny gold material, manipulated into spirals upon its stomach. its tail is often coiled like a snake and is made up of steel, yet again, but seeming more agile and less rusted than the rest of the body.

Powers (a couple, no OP I’m a hardass about it): vague hypnotysm, although it doesnt usually work. its happiness, albeit forced, can be contagious and a cause for concern if a person stays by seven for too long. its tail acts as a defense mechanism in minor instances of stress but if anything majorly upsetting occurs around the creature, its needle-claws will inject the unknown substance into the aggressor, seemingly 'putting them to sleep' before, after a few minutes of 'sleeping', they return, but as a zombie like husk of themselves. their claws are hardly EVER utilized, though, because they are often willingly oblivious to danger and/or sadness.

Other skills?: terrifying without ever having to try.

Crime: coming from the ministry of joy, this creation in particular had malfunctioned after the 'happiness experiments' that were then to be used on humans caused it to lash out, turning many of the workers into zombies, mindless under the facade of ongoing, neverending joy. its unknown whether or not the ministry tried to destroy seven, or simply let it out into civilisation as a way to try to lure more people into giving into eternal happiness. either way, this creature has countlessly tried to make peoples lives better, by essentially 'killing' their self-aware side, to let them become 'happy.' ...so that could be considered a crime.

Personality: despite the fact that seven is a lab experiment gone haywire (or fantastically, as the ministry were probably delighted by the creatures outcome), its an outgoing, extremely happy dragon, to the point where it can be scary in its unwillingness to recognize danger. it laughs in the face of tragdy and ignores the concept of sadness as a whole. it can be manipulative at times, and downright unstable if people do not listen to it. despite (x2) all this, it does have moments where the happiness wears off, only slightly, making its emotions change sporadically and flare into depressive spikes from time to time.

Bio: it was once a lizard-dragon-like creature that was as natural as natural can possibly be, before, when conducting experiments, the ministry of joy took it in to experiment on, giving it an essential upgrade, both physically and through the fields of knowledge, as it can speak english fluently. however it usually only spouts mundane things or propaganda for the ministry, with its opinion typically proving to be quite transparent. since its malfunction and outbreak into the rest of the world, its dialect has changed slightly, dipping into opinions and personal thoughts, while trying to crawl away from spitting out constant 'joy' propaganda to marmalize.

Extra?: seven speaks like this: 'l3t th3 j0y tak3 0ver. 3ec0me marma1ized.' but it'll be translated below, just in case its too hard to read.

Name: Alysia Eisen. Was accurately nicknamed Snow during her 'rebellious' days.
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Appearance description: Stands at 5'5" and has a thin build. Alysia's most defining feature is probably her long white hair that, even when kept in a ponytail, reaches down to her lower back. She has dark blue eyes (not really seen in the picture) to match with the lighter hints of blue in her hair.

Clothing wise, Alysia tends to wear items that don't really stand out too much. Although not wishing to look like a total slob, she does not care for design as long as the clothing pieces are comfortable and functional. She prefers warmer clothing even in hot climates due to her powers often making her feel a little chilly.

Powers: Ice conjuration & Snow Manipulation:
Seemingly themed after her birthplace, Alysia has inhabited the ability to control both ice and snow to a degree. Her primary ability, the one that she is most known for, is Snow Manipulation. Through the use of focus and movement, Alysia can create, move and shape around large quantities of snow to aid her in various situations. She can also differentiate between densities, switching from very thin but fast powder snow to thick bulks of heavier snowflakes. It would be a far fetch to say she has mastered the ability, for it most definitely isn't the case. While she can accurately maintain smaller performances, manipulating bigger batches of snow or constantly using her powers tends to be extremely tiring. Not only does it exhaust her, Alysia also starts feeling colder and colder the more she uses her ability up to the point where she could even reach hypothermia. This makes it painful to keep going for extended durations, or even dangerous for herself.

To roughly measure her capabilities and limits, Alysia's use of thick snow allows her to slow movement and bluntly damage people within a 10/15 meter radius. Her signature use of powder snow as a tool to visually impair others can be used in a much larger radius, the wind often playing a large role in this. Snow conjured by Alysia is in no way special, meaning it will melt and be destroyed just as easily as regular snow. While thick walls of snow might bring minor protection against some physical attacks, Magic would thus quite easily make its way through. The lethality of this ability as a whole is rather low, mostly considering Alysia never truly trained it as a means of injuring or even killing others. It's true talents lie in its utility uses such as blinding or pushing around objects and people.

Alysia's newfound secondary ability, however, is more battle oriented. Ice Conjuration allows her to shape objects of ice, making them appear in contact with her body. This allows her to quite quickly generate, for example, a spear in her hand while also granting the choice to blatantly make a helmet of ice appear around her face. Alysia mostly uses this ability to summon a snowboard-like structure which, in combination with her generation of snow, may often lend her a good means of mobility. She can theoretically create anything and as many things as she can sustain, but it often becomes hard for her to properly maintain more than one item at a time. Much like the snow she uses, Alysia's magical ice is not-so-magical. It breaks just as easily as normal ice would, making it a niche choice of fighting when against a target with more sturdier weaponry. There is little defence hidden in this ability, although creating very sharp weaponry can most definitely be achieved.

Other skills?:
-Spear-wielding: Although far from an expert, Alysia can hold her own when suited with a proper spear. She learned how to wield a spear as a means of hunting during her times outside of the Frigidus capital.
-Knife proficiency: Was the alternative for close quarters and enclosed spaces. Alysia is quite nimble with a knife in her hand.
-Dexterity: Quick on her feet and rather agile, making up for her lacking defence.

Crime: Instances of power abuse & theft.

Personality: At first glance, Alysia often gives off an impression just as freezing as her own ability. She's very distant and hesitant when it comes to meeting strangers, a lack of trust clearly being one of her more negative traits. To add up to the chilling first impression, Alysia tends to be quite blunt and seemingly cold-blooded, mostly because she's not very good at expressing herself or showing her emotions more elaborately to people she doesn't know well. Due to her past as a thief, Alysia has also developed a few habits that make her more prone to intimidation and deception as a means of achieving her goals. She's very determined to succeed but tends to not really know when to pick rational conversations of threatening and even violence.

Despite not being the most pleasant person to be around at first, Alysia is fiercely loyal to anyone that she befriends. She's confident, brave and individualistic, but has learned how to work as a team when needed. The young adult is also known to open up more once she gets to know people better, increasingly becoming more responsive and friendly in her mannerisms.

Alysia is someone who enjoys the thrill of a fight. She won't step away from some good action, but admittedly understands the dangers of it. Hence why she always tries to stay composed and calm, avoiding recklessness as best as she can.

Bio:
The moon stood high and bright as the chilling winds gracefully slid past the ground, snowflakes chaotically flickering down past the few wanderers who were still out late at night. A group of cart's large wooden wheels cracked and squeaked slightly through the silent cold, slow but steady footsteps and quiet pants accompanying the repetitive sound. It was a silent, typical night in the outskirts of the cold lands, but the shouting of the cart's lost inhabitants disrupted its beauty. Tonight was a tragedy for them, but a goldmine for the ones surrounding them.

There, hiding within the snow, laid a plethora of dangerous individuals. Each of them had different motives, different ideas and different aims in life, but they shared a collective goal. To steal, to ambush for their own good. And so, the group moved as a whole, making merchants stray off the paths before luring them into their demise. Every time was planned out differently, but a common theme was consistently used. A shield of snow. A sudden snowstorm that was sure to bring one's vision to a low to allow the thieves to swiftly approach and get into position. Before most could react, they would be greeted by the men and women in white, each armed with a weapon or two or worse, with magic. In mere minutes all possessions would be taken before the group took off to disappear into the cold once again. Alongside the snow, they moved quickly.

It was a true phenomenon. An odd bunch of criminals coming from the hills that would brush past carriages and houses in minutes, leaving no trace as they vanished. Warnings were soon to be brought out to traders and those that lived a little more remote than recommended, the number of guards was soon to increase. It was no use most of the time, as the mysterious plunderers kept succeeding. Their legacy was consistently built up, especially due to having caught the wealthy goods of several nobles. These days were great for the ambitious bandits, but they eventually faced a major setback.

As security went up and searching parties were released into the icy lands, the Bandits made a crucial mistake fueled by arrogance and overconfidence. Instead of laying low, the group came to the decision to keep doing what they were best at. And so, a simple evening turned out to be a catastrophe.

In the light of dusk, a small portion of the bandit group came into action once again. A distraction, a blockade, and an ambush. Everything went as planned, up until they looked into the faces of the surprised. Their looks were not fearful, not filled with anger, but with smiles of success.

It turned out that they were the ones truly being surprised.

Mages from Unis had chased after the bounty, capturing all of the bandits who participated in the attack and delivering them to face judgement in Frigidus. Defeat had come, and the defeated were punished for theft and refusing to give away the location of their base and fellow bandits. Alysia was, however, simultaneously disciplined for the abuse of her magical powers. She was the cause of that peculiar cover of snow and that sudden blockade of the road, the tools that made the very incidents a mystical story. Sadly for Alysia and her friends, the story came to an end with imprisonment. At least, it did until she was invited to join the Renaissance Order. Craving for freedom, the young adult chose to take her chance.

The location of the bandit group and the reason as to why Alysia became a part of them remains a secret that is left untold as of yet. The storybook herself, Alysia, does not consider her past to matter anymore though. She just wishes for a chance to further her life in a different manner, this time hopefully without having to resort to crime.
