#BlackLivesMatter
We meet again, SQI forum. (I am so sorry)
I’ve noticed a lot of users aren’t big fans of the border that shows up around images in posts. It’s not exactly the most aesthetically pleasing thing in the world. A lot of us would like it gone, or invisible, or something, because it’s pretty distracting and looks very clunky on small images.
Is it possible to remove/disable it entirely, or is it part of Xenforo/the image resizing feature and therefore something that cannot be overwritten?
If it IS impossible to remove, is there a way to perhaps decrease the width of the border or reduce its transparency?
If all of this is completely impossible, would you willing to educate us on why it is so and save this thread for the next time someone else asks about the image borders?
Shoutout to @Elle Joyner who threatened to make this thread herself, @Honeybucky who seemed to be interested in the answer, and @Erica who tried to find a previous thread that she thought may have had a "why not" explanation but couldn't find it.
