The majority of homosexual couples decide to have more than one child. One that has the bloodline of each of the men in the relationship.
Once seeing how surrogacy works and having one child already they decided on giving a child less fortunate to have parents of their own a home. Though David couldn’t be present for the adoption due to his military status both him and his husband had an equal role in choosing a child.

His absent-mindedness, difficulty focusing, forgetfulness, problem paying attention, and short attention span had strong effects on his friendships as well as his relationships.
As Remi grew to repeat his first year in high school, Henry realized that Remis learning abilities were not at the normal rate. At first they thought it may be a mental health issue. This wouldn't have been surprising with Remi’s history of depression and suicidal thoughts and actions.
Discovering Remi had ADHD came after putting Remi in special classes with other kids that failed freshman year.
Even after his medication he had high anger, anxiety, and boredom. But nonetheless he was fairly normal.
