[SIZE=12pt]Reimund Helge, was born Reimund Robert Petrus, the third son of the Petrus family a noble family heavily involved in the shipping and smuggling business. However, conflict between house Petrus and Thorben (another noble house involved in the same business) caused the downfall of house Petrus, when Reimund was sixteen. One night during the Petrus family’s yearly gathering, the entire Petrus family was slaughtered. After a token investigation, it was determined that house Petrus was raided by “Underhivers”. Somehow a number of “Underhivers” had managed to raid a mansion in the Upper Hive, kill all the guards, and leave unseen. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Reimund had managed to escape his family’s fate, by virtue of being irresponsible. He had slipped out of the party earlier that night to visit the local pleasure houses with his friends. After hearing of his family’s demise, Reimund had the presence of mind to seek out an old family friend, Manfried Jochim a retired Captain who has passed his ship to his son. Manfried sheltered Reimund for two years before Reimund left to forge a path for himself. Using his families old commotions Reimund managed to frame the Thorben family for smuggling in a book of pleasures dedicated to Slaanesh, along with a large number of Chaos artifacts. Needless to say, the Thorben family was purged by righteous fire for this HERESY. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]After disposing of the Thorben family, Reimund found he had a talent for arranging deals, and acquiring more “exotic” and “unusual” items, without drawing the attention of the authorities. [SIZE=12pt]A former imperial guard, who has fallen on hard times. Gustav was after losing his left arm and right leg to an orc attack. After his discharge, Gustav lost his purpose and drank away what little money he had. During one of his binges, he was noticed by Reimund, who hired him on the spot. [/SIZE]Now he works as Reimund’s primary enforcer, bodyguard, and occasional assassin.
