Realistic or Modern Reily's home for the orphaned and abused

Blade quickly added, "I-I won't hear anything you don't want me to! Slime? Oh that... odd... guy, yeah." Blade giggled again, maybe this could be his only true friend here? Who knows, Blade only know's how to be quiet and depressed. The tall boy kept looking around, the quick movements of his eyes at some points may have given away the fact he sees things that aren't there. He coughed twice, regained his posture, and nervously kept his exploration going.

 

[Riik]

Riik plodded on behind Blade, seemingly content with just following him around. He felt safe around Blade now. Maybe others would be too intimidated to be scarily outgoing to him. Or maybe they'd talk to Blade first, him being the elder of the two. Riik tried to keep his mind quiet, but he seemed to have difficulty filtering his thoughts. His mental discipline was marginal at best. The question of "I wonder where he is going, anyway..." found its way through the telepathic link, along with various images of possible future events involving Riik and Blade together playing chase games and having innocent cuddles without the interference of clothing. Riik had very basic animalistic drives, and seemed to find simulated hunting to be most entertaining; and the feeling of being embraced against the softness of the skin of an individual capable of keeping him safe to be the ultimate comfort. The thoughts were simple, innocent and instinct-driven.


Eventually, Riik got himself on top of the telepathic leakage by looping a section of a tune over and over in his mind. It seemed to cut out the stray images and thoughts, but had the side effect of broadcasting a simple and repetitive tune in its place.

Blade was slightly confused by how quickly the thoughts changed to a tune, he sighed softly, finishing his exploration. "Just went exploring, never been here. Why don't we go outside, eh?" he thought to Riik, turning around. A slight curve was seen above the scarf he wore, indicating he was smiling a little. This was rather rare to be shown to someone else.


Blade nodded once and begun heading towards the door to the outside of the house, he'd walked towards a tree, climbed it, and sat in-between two branches.

 

[Riik]

Riik waited for Blade to climb the tree, then he followed him up swiftly, before hopping into Blade's lap and curling up like a cat.

Blade's eyes widened a little, "This what you normally do, Riik?" he questioned through telepathy. Blade shifted a little, allowing more space to Riik to lie down; he laid his head against the trunk of the tree, staring at the night sky.

 

[Riik]

Riik shook his head. "This is what I always wished I could do... but people scare me too much..."

 

[MisfitGhoul]

Blade unraveled his scarf a little, letting it fall around his neck, his mouth now open to speak. "Feel the same way, Riik," he spoke out loud, voice a little raspy from lack of speaking.

 

[Riik]

Riik too spoke out loud, his English accent broken up by his usual pronunciation issues. "You... be big brother?" He asked.

Charlotte got out of the room and smiled. That wasn't so bad she thought to herself. She opened the door and stepped outside, she couldn't see the guy and the gender less in the tree and


Continued to walk outside

Blade quickly looked down at Riik, then showed his rarest smile, one that had shown happiness for once. He'd longed to smile like this again, he just needed the right time to do so. "Sure, Riik," he responded quietly; Blade returned his gaze to the starry night, soon closing his eyes and falling asleep.

 

[Riik]

Riik shuffled around a little, pushing Blade's shirt up a little so that he could lean directly against his belly. He also pushed his tail under Blade's shirt and softly positioned it against his chest, listening to his heat beat. Riik felt safe here in the lap of his new brother. And even though Blade had fallen asleep, Riik remained where he was, curled up comfortably, diverting a small percentage of his senses to keeping a watchful eye on the area around them. It was now Riik's turn to keep Blade safe.

Blade moved his hands, one on his chest, the other on Riik's back. He remained in this position for the rest of the night, sleeping peacefully in a tree, secluded from the house and others.

Soon Bianca, Ali and Luna got done and started heading in for the night. Both Bianca and Ali were perfectly healthy while Luna had a slight case of malnutrition, though given the metabolism of a werewolf and the fact she was on the run with no cash it wasn't surprising. speaking of Luna she found herself outside. she wasn't exactly used to sleeping indoors yet. she went to a nearby tree and curled the legs infront of her and fell asleep. though as for danger some hunters started coming by. perhaps to do alittle damage.

 

[Riik]

Riik's tail twitched at the sound of the incoming hunters. His sharp hearing had picked them up long before humanly possible. Silently, he crept out of Blade's lap and made his way around the tree to get a better look. It was now dark enough for him to be able to see well into the distance, his night vision far superior to a human's daytime vision.

Blade felt Riik leave his place, he knew it'd be slightly dangerous outside. Blade opened his eyes slowly, carefully to continue to pretend he was asleep, ready to help Riik or anyone else outside. He moved the scarf back over his mouth, light blue eyes looking around cautiously. "Be careful, Riik," he told Riik.

Akira looked good, so she was sent back to her room. She walked back, happy she had been able to learn English before she had seen the nurse, or else things would have been a bit more complex. She sighed and sat down on her bed, looking at the sky. "Hmm, what to do now."

Haru sighed. He wasn't really paying attention to the other boys. His mind had ben focused on the vampire from earlier. Sure, he had kissed her, but he harbored no feelings other than friendship. Yet. He sighed, walking up to his room and shutting the door softly.

Hikari watched as alot of the kids went outside. 'They all are going to sleep but the moonlight outside is so bright. I should go out there..' He moved to a window to get a better view. 'That girl... I wanna prank her' then he thought about what Riik said about scaring people being bad. Maybe i should mess with people less. He slither outside and circled the sleeping lycan. Then he rose out of his base and poked the girl in the face, " Why are you sleeping outside when its dark..."

((eh my way of going about it is towards the night was when they did the check-up towards the evening and everyone was tired when all said and done. so they went to bed.))


Luna yipes jumping pretty high-up in suprise as she was pretty tense as usual. "wh-what was th-that f-for!" she said.

Riik stayed in the tree, waiting for the hunters to make their move, whilst glancing over briefly at where he had heard Hikari being his usual loud self and Luna making startled noises. The two were in a vulnerable position down there, but Riik did not want to abandon his stealthy position. Maybe he was being paranoid... maybe the approaching hunters were actually not a threat at all... but it was night and that was the time when Riik's instincts were at their height. He was suspicious of anything and everything right now. Except perhaps Blade.

((It's night, most people are going to bed, some hunters are loitering around not so far away from the orphanage, Hikari is ruining Luna's sleep and Riik and Blade are in a tree. I think that's more or less it.))

Charlotte entered her room and locked the door behind her. She opened the window and saw some people gathered outside the orphanage. Charlotte though they were normal people just outside the orphanage hanging out, no big deal. Charlotte looked closely and had her second thought. What if they were hunters? Charlotte ran outside to observe the hunters closely.

Akira heard noise from the next room over and she got up, walking over to the girls room casually. "Hikari, what are you doing?" She asked, knowing the friendly slime was up to something.
