The History
In the summer of the year 1947 western civilization had its first documentented contact with alien lifeforms and technologies. This came to be known as the roswell incident and the general public never heard much more. Over the course of the next 80 year there were tens of thousands of sightings and even mass sightings. Many were covered up, others ignored. But humanity went along with their lives completely oblivious to how much the world had really changed.
With most of mankind focused on rebuilding and setting political landscapes after the end of world war two, building the agency was childs play. Cradle as it came to be called kept tabs on earths many visitors. Turned out those sightings weren't just sightings, they were actual ships or other forms of travel bringing Alien beings to our planet. It wasn't until the 60s that cradle was able to capture an alien and learn the truth. Mankind wasn't alone in the universe, rather there were more alien races than there were people on earth...and the universe was at war.
Two races on the top of the technological scale wage a cosmic battle where entire planets and star systems are destroyed in mere moments. However humanity is a crazy lucky species. They just so happened to be born on one of a couple million pre selected refugee planets. Both sides of the conflict have decided that these worlds are non militarized safe zones to be protected.
Up until 2004 The Empire known as the Methuselah controlled the territory that earth and the rest of the solar system falls into. However in 2004 They waged a Devastating battle in The Oort Cloud in which the Sithian empire managed to take the territory. Many worlds fell an with their fall came hundreds of thousands of Off world refugees. These Aliens come to Earth under the Jurisdiction of the Cradle Agency they follow 3 laws
1. Never reveal yourself to an unenlightened human
2. Never Grant humans Technology above their current level.
3. Always cooperate with Cradle agents.
