How far would you go to have your wish granted? What price would you pay in exchange for your heart's deepest desire? In a remote corner of the cosmos, seperate from time and space, dwells a being with the ability to grant any wish. The Witch of Dimensions. For a price of equivalent value, there is little The Witch of Dimensions can not achieve.
Desperate to have their wish granted - be it material gain, knowledge, a new life, an escape from the past, anything - Character A and Character B have left their own worlds behind for the chance to have their respective wishes granted by The Witch. Though neither customer has the appropriate payment to obtain their wish, The Witch is bemused two strangers have arrived at the same moment, and offer the pair an alternative; combine their payments to receive the means to travel through different dimensions together. If the pair can collect enough items of value throughout the worlds, their wishes will be granted.
The Means
In addition to moving the users from world to world, the means also acts as an automatic translator to allow for communication not only between the travellers, but also the native population. It also acts as a connection to The Witch, transporting the found items in exchange for the name of the items in need of locating, as well as acting as a tracking device for said items. Due to the payment being split, the means has been as well, and will not work to full capacity if not in close proximity.

After centuries of endless fighting and countless casualties between two warring kingdoms, a treaty was agreed upon to seperate the two people permanently. To make sure neither kingdom could attempt a sneak attack once the treaty was drawn, a barrier was cast between the two kingdoms, blocking anything and everything from passing. For hundreds of years the kingdoms remained seperated, growing and adepting to their own ways, until the other kingdom was little more than a memory.
Until now. Though the barrier still stands, it is evidently weakening. Creatures native to one land have made their way through the barrier to the other side. Well known dangerous items in one kingdom, seemingly innocent in appearance to those that don't know better, have claimed more than one victim. It is only a matter of time before civilians from both sides begin wandering across the border, and the fighting begins once more.
Will you help restore the barrier and separate the lands once again?
Or will you watch the world come tumbling down as you profit from its misfortune?
Supernatural Entanglements

The end of the century is approaching, and with it a change in polite society. Gone is the age of long practiced traditions and superstitions, the void filled by the pursuit of monetary gain and the latest trends. Tossed aside as the foolishness of the past, the true purpose of these traditions is soon to be entirely lost, as is the protection they once offered.
With the protections faltering, there is little to keep the creatures of the occult at bay. Malevolent phantoms of the deceased thirsty for revenge, poltergeists intent on finding new form, once protective spirits twisted into something far more sinister, and nameless apparitions wishing for nothing more than to cause suffering, disease, and ultimately death. Once repelled from the prosperous society, these beings are now returning with a vengeance.
Wardens, once thoroughly educated in all forms of exorcism and protection, are now little more than enforcers for those born into privilege. Few will lift a finger without an incentive, and even less continue to practice the old ways. Those that do must be subtle in their actions, or else risk more than just their careers.

Modern Fantasy
Long ago, long before history began to be recorded, deities and demons roamed the earth. Always searching for a way to obtain more power, many of these beings sought out a legendary jewel renowned for its unique ability to grant any wish. Constantly hunted for the jewel in her possession, the priestess charged with the jewel's protection was ultimately wounded beyond repair after years of service. In a last ditch effort to protect the treasure from its pursuers, the priestess used the jewel's ability to grant wishes to send it to a safe location. For centuries the jewel was lost, until the legend of the wish granting jewel became little more than a fairytale.
In modern times, the jewel abruptly reappears before the priestess's descendant. The jewel is barely within the descendant's grasp, however, before it shatters - scattering in the process - its power temporarily diminished in the wake of the granted wish. Drawn to the power of the reemerged jewel, beings from the past begin to appear in the present day, intent on obtaining the jewel no matter the obstacle. As the shards begin to regain strength the amount of pursuers continues to increase, from the past and present alike.
