Bexley sat comfortably on a black leather couch in the middle of her living room. It had been a week since school had gotten out, and she was already becoming bored with the summer. She had voiced this boredom to her mom, who then informed her they would be having a guest stay with them for the next couple of months, and that he was arriving this very day. This intrigued her.
As she brooded on it, the girl absentmindedly flipped through movie channels. She finally settled on the new adaptation of Sherlock Holmes with Robert Downey Jr., one of her favorite actors. She had just curled up in a blanket when she heard the doorbell ring.

It was another shitty morning in his shitty apartment with his shitty life, Slader thought to himself bitterly. He wasn't much for self loathing, but recently it had kind of gotten out of control. The tired 23 year old stumbled out of his bedroom, head pounding from yet another hangover.
Sighing, he located two Advil and swallowed them down. He wasn't sure exactly what he wanted to do with himself today, but so far he was fresh out of ideas. Shaking his head, Slader poured himself a glass of water and drank it.
(Sorry if it's kinda short, I wasn't sure how to start cx)
Sebastian crossed his arms slightly over his chest and looked out the window of the passing scenery. Closing his eyes slightly he felt an abrupt stop. Jerking forward Sebastian's eyes snapped open.
"What the hell?" He snapped looking around and furrowing his eyebrows slightly. "We're here. This will be your house for the summer." His mother said getting out of the car with him sighing softly. "I don't know what has gotten to you we are nothing but nice to you and give you everything Seb." She whispered knocking on the door awaiting for someone to answer. "Whatever." He murmured softly.
--
Arianna slammed the alarm clock when she heard it the second it started to ring. Rubbing her eyes she looked out the window of her apartment that she shared with her roommate. Sighing happily, she got out of her bed and soon went to her closet taking out skinny jeans and a sweater. When she was done with that she put her hair into a messy bun and walked to the kitchen.
"I'll be home late tonight I have to close the cafe tonight." She said softly to her roommate and best friend Bree. "You need a life and a boyfriend. School and work is all you have." Bree said laughing softly shaking her head slightly. "I'm sorry, I'll try and get a life during summer." She murmured laughing softly and then grabbed her bag and coffee she left the house sighing happily.
Bexley was home alone at the time, both her parents were at work. She stood up from her spot on the couch and moved to peer out the window. A woman and an attractive boy around her age stood on her porch. She turned the know and opened the door.
"Hello, I'm assuming you're the kid we're taking in?" She asked, quickly inspecting him. He had an attitude, that much was true. You could just tell by looking at him. "My name is Bexley, you must be his mother. Come in in. My parents are gone, so it's just me but I can help get him settled in." She said with a charming smile, shooting the tall boy and inquisitive look. Stepping aside, she allowed them to enter.

Slader changed into holy jeans and a black t shirt with a blue zip up hoodie over it, unzipped. He decided he was going to get some breakfast at a local diner down the street. The place was pretty good. Or so he had heard.
Before leaving, he grabbed a pack of cigarettes and stashed them in his pockets for later. After exiting his apartment complex, he strolled down the street. As a group of girls passed, he cast them a mischievous, sexy grin. The girls giggled loudly and practically swooned, which made him chuckle to himself.
Once he reached the joint, he opened the door and stepped inside, setting off the little bells. Slader took a seat at a booth in the back and pulled out his phone to check it.
Sebastian looked at the girl and shrugged his shoulders slightly, "I actually must be going, tell your mother thank you for letting my son live here!" Sebastian's mother said and then waved at the two of them before departing to her car once more. "My name is Sebastian where am I staying?" He muttered looking around the house and sighed softly. His first thought of the house was that it was a pretty bland house no color or anything to it.
Turning back toward Bexley he pulled a box of cigarettes out and put one in his mouth, tucking the box back into his pants he brought his lighter and walked to the backyard. "I hope you're okay with me smoking. I won't do it in the house, or when your parents are home." He called out, "I need to keep my good image up for your parents." He said smirking slightly at her and winking.
--
Arianna looked at the busying streets and sighed softly , looking at her phone she bit her lip slightly. "Maybe I should stop by the diner." She whispered softly to herself and then smiled a little before turning the corner and got to a quieter part of the town. When she found the local diner she walked inside and smiled at everyone around, "Hey there Aria! Long time no see. How's college treating you?" The owner chuckled out.
Blushing deeply she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear before sitting on the bar and shrugged her shoulders. "Stressful. My whole life is directed towards work and school. No time for finding love or going out with friends." She whispered softly, "You're twenty-one honey, you still have your whole life set up for you. Don't worry." She said giving her a cup of coffee smiling a little.
Bexley crossed her arms as Sebastian came in, already seeming comfortable in her home. So he's arrogant too, she thought bitterly. This was going to be interesting. She frowned deeply as he pulled out a cigarette and walked to her backyard. And... He smokes.
"Uh, okay. Well, you should hurry up there and grab your things so I can show you around." She instructed, shooing him back inside. Any remnant of smoke that would get into the house sauce of it would be gone before her parents got home anyways. She stared at him a moment, assessing him. He seemed to be the complete opposite of her.
She ushered him to the bedroom across from her own on the second floor of the house. "This is your place. I'm right there," she said, pointing to the other door. She opened his, and led him in. There was a queen sized bed with fresh bedding, a desk, a window seat and a small walk-in closet. "Hope this is okay. And if you need anything, help is right across the hall." Bexley commented with a sweet smile.

Slader looked up as the bell chimed again. A pretty little thing sauntered in and sat at the bar, chatting easily with the workers. They seemed to be on familiar terms. He couldn't help but overhear their conversation. Oh hell, he has nothing better to do.
The tall man rose and made his way to the bar, sitting a few stalls away from the dark haired girl. "Can I get a beer?" He asked to the bartender, offering up a charming grin.
Sebastian looked at her and gave the girl a small smile. "Yeah, I'll be quick don't worry." He murmured and then let or another huff of smoke. Eyeing the smoke he soon stomped on his cig and walked back inside looking over at Bexley.
"Ready. Where do you want to go first?" He asked raising his eyebrow slightly and crossed his arms a little. And then began following her when she ushered him up the stairs. He walked into the room and took a glance around and shrugged. "Great." He said and then put his bag down on the floor and jumping on the bed sighing softly. "Thanks." He said raising his eyebrow indicating she could leave now.
--
Aria glanced over and took a sip of her coffee, she looked at the man that sat a few away from her. Scrunching her nose up she thought on how the man could actually get a beer early this morning. Shaking her head slightly, she looked at him once more eyeing him slightly. It seemed she knew him from somewhere but she couldn't put her finger on it.
Turning towards the man she leaned slightly in, "This is weird to ask but I feel like I know you from somewhere. What's your name?" She asked softly biting her lip a little. The owner spoke up before the man could even utter something, "That's Slader, he comes in every now and then." She said giving her a small smile.
Aria froze in her spot a big smile appearing on her lips, "Slader? It's me Aria Fields! I went to high school with him." She said laughing a little at the owner, "You guys couldn't be even more opposite than one another." She tsked slightly shaking her head
Bexley nodded as he commented that his room was great. Well, she thought, I guess he isn't too bad. She was always one to remain optimistic. As the boy raised his eyebrows at her, she too that as her cue to leave. "If you're hungry, come downstairs whenever. I'm making grilled cheese."
With that, the girl exited his room and went to her own to make sure the door was closed just in case Sebastian got curious. Bexley jogged down the stairs and into the kitchen, her stomach making weird noises. She was starving. She began slicing cheese and buttering bread to put in the panini press she always used to make sandwiches. Just in case, she started making two.

Slader looked up as the pretty girl leaned over, asking him who he was. He offered her a charming grin and was about to answer when the diner owner spoke for him. He nodded in response. "Slader's the name, yup." He commented.
Arianna Fields? He remembered her! "Oh my god, Aria?" He hadn't spoken to her in years. After he dropped out, he hadn't really spoken to anyone for that matter. It wasn't that he was uneducated, he dropped out because he had better things to do with his life.
"How have you been?" Slader asked her, his deep rough voice taking on a flirtatious tone. They used to be close, but naturally that changed when he left the high school. She was even more beautiful than he remembered.
Sebastian looked around his room and sighed softly running his fingers along the blanket biting his lip slightly. It seemed weird to be somewhere that was completely different then where he lived. Of course his parents were never home and here it seemed like a nice atmosphere. Maybe his rebellious streaks was because he wanted attention.
Shaking the thoughts out of his head when he heard his phone growling. Sebastian walked downstairs and sighed softly, "Can I have something to eat?" He asked looking over at Bexley. Which was a weird name to him, but he wasn't going to complain of course. She was pretty cute and well he liked that.
--
Arianna smiled softly and then rolled her eyes at Slader's flirtatious tone, "I'm good busy with school and work. How about yourself?" She asked softly biting her lip. It seemed the guy was a little tougher than he was in high school. He dropped out his senior year when Aria was a sophomore. They were still friends of course even though they were two years apart. But when he dropped out they stopped talking.
"Have you still not gotten your GED?" She asked raising her eyebrow slightly looking over at Slader once more. It was true she always bothered people about not getting proper education. But, for Slader it seemed him actually graduation was something that she didn't even see happening.
"Here, I made you a sandwhich." Bexley responded as she put the grilled cheese on a plate and handed it to him. "One step ahead of ya."
She began to eat her own half sandwich, finishing it kind of quickly. She was hungry. When she finished, she placed the dish in the sink and examines Sebastian from afar. He was cute and tall, but definitely a troublemaker.
She realized she had been staring. With a blush, Bexley turned away and got a glass of water for herself.

Slader laughed. "Sounds like you. You never stop working." In truth, she had always been extremely driven and hard working, something he lacked greatly.
He frowned at her question. No, he didn't have a GED and he didn't plan on having one. In his opinion, high school was a joke. He was already intelligent enough to make it on his own. He just wouldn't have any academic credentials to back him up.
Sebastian raised his eyebrow and then grabbed the sandwich from her nodding his head slightly in a thank you form. "Thanks." He murmured and then took a bite of the grilled cheese sandwich.
"What do you do around here for fun? It doesn't seem like a party town or anything. It seems old people live in this neighborhood." He murmured looking out the window and into the backyard sighing softly
--
Aria smiled softly at him, "Yeah, I do. But sometimes I wish I had a love life. Someone to call mine." She murmured, "I tried dating but no one ever stood by me." She murmured tucking her hair behind her ear sighing softly.
Glancing over at him she smiled softly nodding her head, "I'm sorry to ask don't answer." She murmured softly seeing the frown placed on Slader's face. "So, any jobs you in now?" She asked softly leaning over slightly.
