Those of you who have roleplayed with me before know that I prefer
to have people do characters however they want. So I don't provide character sheets, just
the information you'll need to provide.

So, here it is. With this RP there are a number of options. You can be:
~A live person
~A dead person
~An exorcist, medium, psychic, whatever you wanna call it.
~A reaper (with your choice of occupation).
Personally, I don't see any other option but if you do give me a personal message.

The information you'll need to provide is a backstory, any personal info, and pictures.
The rest is up to you. My own characters are posted in the Lore tab with simple backstories.
I think this is sufficient, but if anyone has any questions please shoot me a personal message.

Personality- raven is kind to anyone she Mets and loves it when others smile. She can get depressed very easily though due to not being able to do certain things such as reap souls or help someone that needs it. Because of this many tend to stay out of her way or avoid her all together. As she can get angered very easily if she is depressed cause any plants around her to grow wildly and attack anyone in the area as she making a living hell of plants for those around her at the time.

Abilities- Due to her occupation she has experienced and learned about all kinds of human deaths and the characteristics of those deceased, she is also very geographically aware, knowing the places that harbor most deaths and the territory around certain areas and

Personality- Danilah can appear to be somewhat unapproachable at first with her seemingly lack of interest for people who appear to be shy or those who don't have much to say and her antagonism towards people who may hold different views than her. And while yes, interacting with people who are more introverted can be a difficult task for her she does not implicitly avoid doing it but she's fully aware that a relationship with that kind of person takes more time for her to build. As for those who oppose her viewpoints: she loves talking to them. Though she may get passionate in any form of the debate she still considers it a bonding experience, as is the case with her trainer.
She's someone who'll always stick to her beliefs and has a hard time seeing other perspectives but still tries her best to respect them. That being said knowledge is something she always craves and is always open to receiving it, even if it may come from those she least expects it.

However, she wasn't always like this. In her earlier years, she found it very difficult to look at a certain career with much more than a passing interest. She didn't think she was particularly built for any of the careers and thought she'd end up becoming a gardener at some point. That is until she was assigned to her trainer who managed to lighten up her perspective and got her interested in being a finder. All of a sudden she regretted all those years of trying to get out of any work she had and thought she could have used them for much better things.

Backstory- Danilah is on the older side of life, a few years ago turned young adult. Having a wide range of cases under her belt she is more than satisfied with her job as a finder but she’s always had a certain affinity towards human cultures and traditions, an interest that first began thanks to her trainer who managed to get her out of her lazy attitude. Due to this she often interacts with scholars who are much more knowledgeable than she is on humanity. Despite this, she's still very happy in her position and wouldn’t consider switching careers along with all her years of experience.

Her relationship with her trainer was, at first, rocky. His trainer had been assigned to teach Danilah all about being a finder, however, Danilah thought this was mundane and beyond boring, something which irritated her trainer, who could clearly see she wasn't even trying to be interested. So with a lot of effort and consistency, he managed to break her. From then on out Danilah never hesitated to throw herself into her work.

So far she’s knows basic sign language and knows a lot about dance. Over the years she’s become quite adept at comforting others in grieving. Surprisingly with all the talking she does she listens with the same enthusiasm. Rianon is just a jack of all trades kind of person, picking up small skills here and there, building up a basic knowledge of things when she goes about her job. Notably she’s able to defend herself and lie pretty well. Not so notably she knows a bit too much on some subject due to rather obsessed mediums with no one else to talk about bore hobbies with.

Personality:
Riannon is a outgoing party type of gal. She goes where the wind takes her and hardly stays in one place long if there isn't a good reason for her to stay put. She's bubbly and excitable and has her own way of doing things. The world is vast and an almost endless life as a Reaper to her is an almost endless life to experience the universe. She loves her job as a Speaker. Humans intrigue her, especially the supernatural humans since she can talk to them, mostly. Riannon often goes around asking them about themselves and their culture and tends to make friends of her supernatural conversation partners. In fact she tries to make friends with everybody and cares deeply about each and everyone of them. Some may say she cares more for others than herself and to that she'll usually roll her eyes and tell them what's the harm in doing so? Though if anyone does cross into her bad side, rumor has it she has a wrathful side to be reckoned with. There is a soft spot in her heart for cute things especially cute cats and has an odd fear of the ocean. She won’t talk about that to anyone.

Bio:
A good chunk of her life in the beginning was just roaming around before quite literally running into her trainer. Naturally they got along, though it was more like she grew on them like a bubbly vine. Most of her training years we spent running off and being chased down by her trainer, typically they would step in before anything truly bad would happen. Needless to say, Riannon was quite the troublesome Reaper when she was young. It’s wasn’t really her fault, she would say. Everything was just so new and exciting to her it was hard to stay still and not see where the trouble takes her.

As the years went by she learned how to be a Speaker like her trainer. Honestly she couldn’t think of anything else she’d rather be and has made quite a few psychic friends over the years and recently started to hang out with a deaf novice psychic. He teaches her sign language in exchange for her to help him with his ability (one picks few things up while on the job) and she also is trying to help him through the grieving of his late father. Also recently she’s been trying to settle. Not in a domestic sense but in a, gaining patience sense and just sticking around a little longer than usual. It’s just something she’s been trying out. So far it hasn’t been to bad but, the want to keep on keeping on calls to her.

Sam DeFranco​

A description of Sam DeFranco- Sam is a tall and somewhat thin man, at a 6'2" and at the ripe age of 29. He is a solitary man, who has been studying the arts of speaking with the dead as a medium under his mother's guidance. Ever since he was a child, Sam had a interest in the occult, and smuggled books about scary things like "C'thulu" or "Slenderman" from his local library into his house, against his mother's wishes. However, after his hobbies were found out, his mother simply confessed that it was in their family's nature to commune with the dead. With the guide of his mother, who works as a fortune teller, Sam gets a serious glimpse into the occult at the age of 16, learning of the dangers and strange knowledge that come with it. For now, he works a quiet life as a electrician by day, and a medium by night.

As a product of his very nature and upbringing, he is a very reclusive individual, always careful around others as to not upset or disturb the way things were intended to be, as his mother always told him. He isn't much of a fighter, but isn't afraid to stick up for what he believes is right, no matter if he were to get hurt or not. He doesn't hold a religion, and instead is steeped in shamanism and mystic beliefs, just like his mother. He doesn't really know much about the realm of the reapers, what happens after he dies, or why ghosts linger so often around him, but he chooses to take this all in stride, simply going through the hidden tomes of actual knowledge hidden within the annals of his family's house in the middle of a forest.

Sam knows a few things about taking care of a broken bone or two, or how to find food in the middle of a forest, having lived in one for most of his life, venturing into town nearby for your average amenities. Food, phones, the whole nine. But in the forest, not everyone knows what they're doing. So, on his walks, he happens by hikers who might've hurt themselves, or are a little lonely for a short chat. As for his own job, of being an electrician, he knows his NOT gates from his NAND gates, not having much trouble getting the house back on the grid after a few looks into the infrastructure of the old mansion. He can speak to the dead with the aid of some tools, mainly a deck of tarot cards he keeps on him, but his mother tells him not to study too deeply into the tomes of the damned, else he see things mortal eyes simply aren't meant to see. He's curious, certainly, but he isn't stupid, and knows when to listen to his mom, and when she's being overprotective. He loves her, she's all he's got left, and in her old and fragile state, he's doing everything he can do to help her. But he fears that she'll be joining the communion of voices she speaks to every night.

Justin is quick on his feet and pretty damn agile. He knows his way around computers and knows ASL, how to read lips and can speak English and Korean. Though it does take more concentration for him to speak out loud it makes his mom happy to hear him talk in her native tongue. He's a fast learner and has recently discovered his innate skills in divining. lately he's been working on improving himself as a psychic with both his mothers and Riannon's help. He knows how hide his emotions well and can lie easily. He isn't strong, just only average in that department.

Personality:
Justin is a rather snarky individual who cares a bit to much about how he looks to others. He puts up a confident front to to others and desperately tries to fit in with his cool track team friends on campus. Thankful he was even allowed in this circle despite his lack of hearing. Honestly he feels really self conscious about being in a world full of something he'll never experience and works twice as hard to fit in it. He's a bit of perfectionist but you'd never hear him say it and he tires to be laid back but its hard when he's internally constantly nervous. Track is honestly his favorite thing and he hopes to make it his career after he finishes his degree, which is computer science and is kept on the down low from his buddies. He hopes nobody will ever find out he's actually Bisexual or his hidden stash of vampire romance novels at his house. His greatest fear is to end up being that loner that everyone makes fun and desperately avoids that, even if it means coming off as the same mean-spirited, "jock" guy like his "cool guy" pals.

Bio:
Justin was born in America but his parents are both Korean and he has been deaf from birth. Growing up wasn't easy. His parents were always busy with their shop ion the first floor of the house, and he was pegged as the weird kid since his mom ran a side business of fortune telling to surreptitious suburban moms. Middle school was the worse for him going through that goth phase. After finally gathering the courage up in high school to try out for track he found himself "in" with the more popular kids. Even teaching them a bit of sign language at their request though he still relies a lot on lip reading to keep up on conversations, but this was his big break. Finally he wasn't the weird deaf kid and actually felt a bit proud to be able to share his experience with his new friends. Through high school and college he's found a love for computers and programming but rarely speaks about in fear of seeming like a geek. His high grades got him a full ride to collage and as a bonus, he made it in the track team.

Now he's a "College Man," as his mom likes to say, and works in the family shop outside of practice and class. Things were going well and almost perfectly until his dad died. He had lung cancer and while Justin was at a meet his mother called him to tell him the news. Needless to say, Justin Hyun-Ki did not participate in that meet. After the funeral his mom insisted on giving him a reading, having thrown herself into her work, both the shop and into her fortune telling. In particular she wanted to give him a Saju reading (A type of Korean fortune telling). after this she has been convinced it was his destiny to become like her and has been trying every second to get him to learn how she does her work, eve going so fast to given him a deck of Tarrot cards, saying he should learn the American way too. To appease her he goes through her lessons but will never mention the new things he sense and feels after wards. Justin never thought for a second this stuff was real until it started to alter how he feels the world around him. Especially after one day his mom cam in with a Ouji board to "Talk" to his dad. He was just messing around with it after wards and suddenly the planchette was actually moving on its own, he swears he wasn't moving it and started a conversation with a spirit apparently after the first ten minutes of freaking out.

Turned out he made friends with a Reaper and actually doesn't mind her coming around. In fact knowing the truth behind death made him feel better about where his dad is now. God forbid anyone find this out and any of his friends find out he's actually a psychic. Well, one in training. She tells him about how divination works and gives him advice from her other medium pals and he has been teaching her ASL to make communicating easier. If he was honest for once, he'd say this reaper would be the best thing to happen to him, and also the worst since now he feels like there's so much of himself he has to hide now.

Personality: Veyana is a very sweet young Reaper, Who is always trying to make those around her smile. She never raises her voice, and she specializes in finding the souls of soldiers, or those who died violently. It hurts her to see them in pain, so she does all she can, often exhausting her energy far too quickly in her attempts to make those under her care happy.
She spends a lot of time in Healing, trying to help those that have gone through such pain as to corrupt their souls like this.

Backstory: Veyana grew up fairly normally for a Reaper, but she always seemed… fragile, in a way. She couldn’t stand people being angry with her, and she was rather depressed, even as a young child. It was a long time training before she managed to overcome most of it, but even as an adult, seeing someone else in pain is something she just can’t stand.

Personality: Ekko is a very calm headed person and always thinks of thinks rationally instead of through emotion unless it comes to trying to figure out emotion of course. Ekko has been known to keep to himself at times but does like to hang around people if he can pull himself away from his work to do it. He is completely kind and usually puts himself before others even if it doesn’t seem like it when he is sitting behind some sort of gadget or working on a project…but trust me, he does care, especially for those that are close to him and those he wishes to be closer. Ekko will sometimes take risks to get what he wants even if it’s a stupid idea or just something he feels is necessary to protect people. He is lastly super determined especially on things or people that prove to be rather difficult to him.

  Jaela was born in Seattle, Washington. She was raised by her three brothers, since her parents died when she was a baby. When she was ten, she said she met them and that she liked them very much. Her brothers thought she was going crazy, and they took her to a therapist. Jaela quickly shut up about her parents after that. She kept seeing them, and others too, as she grew older. People no one else could see.
  
  She had violin teacher when she was eleven, and confided in her that she could see things, people. Her dead parents. The teacher, Mrs. Maisel, continued to teach her violin but also taught her how to harness her abilities as a psychic. Now, at 23, Jaela is adept at being a psychic, although she doesn't have any communication with the reaper world. She can still sense things, and is very, very good at it. However, she still has trouble telling reapers apart from regular people. She can sense that they're different, but having never met one or spent time around one, she isn't able to hone in on a reaper.
  
  She works in a small coffee shop, and attends the university of Washington as an anthropology major. She's almost ready to graduate, and just has a semester left. She's taking a break though for the summer, trying to earn money for tuition. So far, she hasn't really used her ability other than to talk to dead people. She hangs around graveyards for this reason, but only when she sees no one around except for the dead people. She doesn't want people (especially her brothers) to think she's crazy.

  Jaela swung her legs as she sat on the wooden table, the huge tome in her arms feeling heavy and slightly greasy as she slowly read from its pages. The illuminated text was in Latin, hence the reason Jaela was reading so slowly. She loved old books, especially ones that were in beautiful handwriting and over a thousand years old, but when they were in Latin or old English, it made reading them a bit difficult. She knew Latin, ish, but she also had a small Latin to English dictionary with her every time she went to the campus library. She was learning, but it was a slow process.
  
  But holding the tome was harder than it looked, and soon Jaela’s thin arms began to feel sleepy. Besides, she had work to get to tomorrow, and she wanted to try and get some sleep before that. Briefly she wondered if she should tell the librarian that she was taking the book back to her room so she could read it there if she couldn’t sleep, but the librarian was a nice man who probably wouldn’t mind her taking the book out of the library. As long as she took good care of it.
  
  Still, the book was a thousand years old. She had borrowed other books, but they hadn’t been nearly as old.
  
  Setting the book down on the table besides her, Jaela slid off the silver table and turned, grabbing the tome and carrying it to the pedestal it had been sitting on. Maybe that’s why it has a pedestal, Jaela thought, because it’s heavy and aged.
  
  But for a book that had been written around the fourteenth century, it was still in amazing condition. That was account of the Xerox sheet protectors that had been shoved on each page and the cover, even protecting the original binding. She opened it to her favorite page, one that told the beginning of Arthur's tale. Why it was written in Latin and not Old English though fascinated her, and she planned to come back tomorrow after work to study it further. She dumped her notebook into her backpack, packed up her pens, and grabbed her phone to check Facebook.
  
  11:42. And her shift was at seven... Jaela sighed as she slung her backpack over her shoulder, scrolling through her feed. Nothing new there. Just another wedding announcement and her brother David posting about his son's first time eating spaghetti. Fred had poured it all over his head, and was beaming at the camera. The caption read: Success. At least, according to him.
  
  Jaela smiled at her nephew's picture. He sure was a cutie. She slid her phone into her back pocket and walked out of the library. She had her hand on the exit before she caught sight of her mom, sitting at a table. Jaela grinned and waved to her. Her mom waved back and blew a kiss before disappearing. She knew what time it was too. Jaela adjusted her backpack, and headed out into the cool night.

Personality:
She is very solemn and quiet. She sees ghosts and things of the like and often tells people - very bluntly - what is going on around them. It can sometimes save their lives, sometimes harm them. She gets small visions whenever she touches people, but often says nothing of them unless she wants to.
Background:
Her mother died when she was born and her father gave her away because he couldn't handle the responsibility of raising Annika by himself. She grew up in several foster homes, each getting rid off her after she told them how they were going to die. Now she lives in an orphanage with ten other kids who actively avoid her 24/7.
