Reaction threads in each area?

Hi, I had a suggestion.


Could it be possible to have reaction threads in each area? For example having in the prose and poetry section a sticky reaction thread in which you can put your reaction to people's work instead of in their personal thread. So if you wanted to comment on a story, you could go to the reaction thread, name the title of the work and tag the person you are making the reaction for.


This way people's personal threads won't get clotted with reactions and it will remain 'clean'. The work that people post will be seperated from the reactions in two threads. There will be a reaction thread in every section (1x1 RP's, Fandom RP's, prose and poetry, art work, etc.) Especially for commenting on RP's it could be nice. (You could also react in the OOC tab of an RP, but I believe that is more meant for the actual players of the RP.)


Positive points:


- You can just post your own work in your thread without people commenting on it in between (as lovely as the feedback is of course!)


- It will be more clean and clear (you do have to keep in mind to tag people so they will see your reaction)


Negative points:


- You have to go to another thread to react, which takes a little more time and effort.


- Probably more points that I overlook right now.


Sorry if some parts are unclear, this is not my first language. I can elaborate if necessary. I would love to hear feedback on this! ^^

From what I am gathering from your suggestion, and from what I know about the site, this seems like it would become too cluttered. Threads don't take up server space, so there is no threatening reason to condense the entire forum into two threads, especially the roleplaying forums.


If you're looking to display work on a thread without others posting comments in between, just put a notice at the top of the thread declaring so. If someone misses it, shoot them a kind message asking them to remove it.

Well, I kind of envisioned it as a topic like this one that could be placed in each section. I thought that would work as clearing things up more, and not cluttering. Also, I thought that people might prefer having reactions outside of their own threads. People may want feedback, but just not in their own topic because it might clutter it. ^^
I was just a brainstorm, so I understand if it wouldn't work out. I haven't been on this site for that long, so I don't know yet exactly how this idea would effect the forum.
