Fantasy Random World roleplay?

StrixDesmodus

Totally human, I swear!
Simply put, who here would like a roleplay taking place in a world full of talking tableware, bizarre plants, and abounding magic, where some earthlings find themselves directly after descending a mysterious stairway found in the woods?

Honestly, I can understand why we would have little to no details on the setting or story. We're gonna be a group of normal-ish people going into a world that'd probably make Lewis Carroll go wtf. It makes perfect sense why we should go into this dark.

I do still feel like at least some basic plot structure is needed. It would be a mess otherwise

So obviously the locals all have different reactions, and some problems of their own. Maybe they have a bad prophecy regarding newcomers, made popular by an evil overlord who takes the form of a tapir.

True Facts About the Tapir
  1. Make Excellent Evil Overlords
That's about all I've got.

Of all the animals you could have chosen, Why not maybe a Tardigrade or a Dolphin
Wait, you don't know? Tapirs are Lawful Evil kiddo. Thus, make perfect evil overlords. Meanwhile, Dolphins are Chaotic Good, and Tardigrades are Chaotic Evil. A giant Tardigrade makes sense more as a subordinate than a leader. That and they're REALLY stupid.
