Other Random question of the day

I mean congress never gets anything done so I'd assume it has to be.

Not sure if I asked this one before, but...

Random question of the day:

Is it true that when playing a video game, the journey is what matters, rather than the ending?

Nope. Not “rather than the end”. Maybe one could argue that the journey matters more than the end, but a good journey does not make up for a bad ending. The ending can, after all, come to color the entire previous experience, and at other times the ending can transform what might have seemed bad into something great. At least on a replay.

I would say the ending matters just as much as the journey. If you get to the end and it’s not well executed, the entire journey can feel like one big let down. At least in my opinion.

I feel like that could be all for the sake of reality T.V, to get people talking. Of course I could definitely be wrong. If that's how those teens really act, yeah, pretty much spoiled brats. Doesn't help that their parents tolerate their behavior all for the sake of their birthday.

figure our what im allergic too and inject it into my body. Life speedrun.

Sleep. Just like most animals that are born with the ability to walk and explore do after they are born.

Dwarf Fortress is my favourite video game of all time and it has notoriously difficult controls. However, just like any game, when you finally 'get it' it makes you feel like a piano virtuoso.

Bonus points for an old Playstation game called 'God Hand', which is probably the funniest video game of all time. It's an open world fighting game a little like 'God of War' or 'Devil May Cry', but instead of controlling your character normally, you control him sort of like you're driving a tank. It's hard to explain, but it feels very strange until you get used to it.

Sseth has a great review of it:

Random question of the day:

Is it unfair for people to say that your 20s are going to be the best years of your life, yet people currently in their 20s have to suffer from a global pandemic? (If you want to discuss this question, go to the discussions thread linked at the beginning of this thread)
