Race For The Spotlight!; an idol-group Roleplay featuring Drama, Excitement, quarrel, friendship, and maybe even some romance!
It's a new generation and three rising idol groups have just begun their journey to become the most popular, most inspirational, and overall the most successful groups in Japan.
However, little do they know that there are people plotting their downfall; Whether it be corrupt managers, scheming ‘fans’, Family, or even their own Group members? Whatever the case is, these idols will experience friendship, growth, and even betrayal.
Will these idols have to watch as their careers crumble just as it's getting started? Or will they grow up, and learn to support and work together to tackle bigger issues that may be waiting to take them down.

The Stargems
Focused more on dancing and flashy moves than singing; The Stargems make each song and show unique. Twirling in the air, flips, somersaults; they do them all
to make each performance as flashy and memorable as possible. While they don't have a "set" genre of music, they lean towards a kind of techno-rock. Focused less on lyrics, and more on songs that are easy to sing while dancing, The Stargems sometimes make even athletes a little jealous with their performances. The Stargems use Gems as their stage names.

The Impact
The Impact is a more hardcore group, focused around meaningful words, and making an “impact” on its audience. With the group in
search of a leader, the direct theme of this idol group remains a little undetermined. But that doesn't mean their songs and dances won't reach people's hearts.

Rule One!
This roleplay will have 9 people present (including us) meaning 3 people will be in each group, along with having roles. This isn't a first come first serve RP; the roles in each idol group will only affect how people interact with you in roleplay when it comes to that role. You may discuss what you want amongst yourselves. If someone in the same group already has a role you want, you may have to just pick a different one.
Eg: If you are the Lyric writer of your group, the rest of the group will interact with your character around that as needed. Otherwise, there won't be much difference between roles when it comes to interacting with each other within a group.
Rule Two!
This roleplay is Lgbtq friendly, and any hate, and or discrimination will not be tolerated here.
Rule Three!
We would appreciate it if most of the people joining this roleplay are semi-literate. 1-3 paragraphs at least is what we're looking for, 1 or 2 liners won't necessarily cut it here. It's understandable that sometimes there just isn't enough things to reply to in a post without adding in needless extra stuff, of course, but try to keep shorter (less than 4 sentences) single paragraph posts to a minimum.
Rule Four!
We want people who are willing to stir up drama! But that doesn't mean you can control or dictate what another player does. Always discuss what you want to do with another player or the group before doing it so things run smoothly. Power playing isn't accepted here.
Rule Five!
You must have discord, as the OOC is on discord, and that's where most planning, roleplay discussion, and general character discussion will take place.
