Hello! I just thought to share some creative endeavours here. They’re not really anything specific.

To start off, I’m not sure if baking counts as art, but I always liked decorating and injecting colour into pastries.

Yesterday’s experiment: Macarons!

Sir Fungus Thank you! The technique was really hard to nail down. They’re so fragile and I failed a few times so these were the most decent looking ones. lol

Folly-Derrezzed They are like cookies, I think. They have a filling inside so think Oreos, but less crunchy and more chewy.

Thank you! I always thought so too. I mean, I've also always watched shows like Cake Boss and stuff so their craftsmanship is something to aspire to eventually.

They are different flavours too. So the pink ones are strawberries, the yellow one are lemon, the green ones are pandan (sweet earthy taste with vanilla to balance it out), brown one is hazelnut chocolate, and the blue is blueberries. I didn't have a lot of blueberries so I was only able to make a small handful of those ones. lol

They are amazing! The pandan cakes that I usually make are the ones that I got the recipe from my friend (technically, my friend's mom). They're so different tasting and I thought to put some of the extract in the filing just to test it out.

I would hand it out virtually if I could. Someone needs to make a teleporting device that could do it. But yeah, I thought they turned out pretty good. The first few batches were really crumbly though. It's my fault cause I put sprinkles on them thinking they'd float.

Pandan cake is amazing. I used to get these big fluffy chunks of it from Chinatown. Mmmm.

Thank you! I’m so happy you like them. I really only started baking as an indoor hobby.

Definitely! The fluffiness was my favourite part too. It’s like biting into a cloud.
