Sunlight rushed into the room, the sun's rays hitting everything available. It gazed over the old wood planks, tables, blankets and pillows until it landed on the sleeping male in the corner of the room. Said male flinched at the sunlight and shifted the other way to dodge the morning lights, curling up in his thick-wool blanket. However, three mischievous devils didn't allow that.
The door creaked open, and one by one the small little girls tiptoed into their older brother's room quietly with a devilish look on their faces. The reached the edge of the sleeping beauty's bed, holding their hands and arms up like they were about to pounce on him.
"Ready? One..." the first devil whispered to her two other companions.
The middle one glanced to her right then left with a small smirk, "Two..."
"Three!" the third one called out excitedly, and all at once at three girls jumped onto the sleeping male who jolted awake at the sudden weight. The triplets giggled as he tried to push them off, but no avail.
"Eden! Eden! Wake up! Mama says we need more firewood and food! She wants you to go shopping!" One of the girls, Juliet chimed as she straddled Eden, her two other sisters on the other side. Eden, who was on his side groaned in reply as he flickered his blue orbs open, staring up at his sister.
A tired and exhausted grin made his way on his face as he stared up at the three. "Good morning Ju," he yawned, "Mama says what to do?"
"To go shopping for firewood and some bread and fruits and stuff like that," the calmer one (but not by much) said gently to her brother who was in the midst of waking up. "Do you think we can come with you?" Julia asked.
Julie, the last triplet crossed her arms on Eden's chest with a big grin, "Yeah! We can help carry bags for you and stuff! Plus, I heard that Prince Annolas is coming to town. I want to meet him!" she said, stretching her arms across the male's chest.
"Prince Annolas, huh? I don't think you're gonna meet him, but let's hope you see a glimpse of him," Eden chuckled as he propped himself up with his elbows. Julie cried out as her arms fell over onto Juliet's lap, who giggled. "And if you want to come, you have..." he lifted this arm to pretend he was timing them, "Ten minutes. Go." His last words made the girls scramble off them and run into the bathroom, screaming and giggling.
The older brother chuckled as he lifted a leg to prop one of his elbows up as he watched the retreating figures of his sisters. Prince Annolas? Rare to have any royalty down here in Sytmer Town. Wonder what's so special...
The palace was calm in the morning's earlier hours. Curtains drawn to fend back any possibilities of that stubborn sun from seeping through and disturbing the two figures upon an all-too-large bed. Neither the male nor female were clothed to public standards, going in its own fashion to prove what had occurred the previous night.
Silver hair seeming unusual for one of the boy's obvious youthful age lays sprawled about his pillow, but not so much as his companion's blonde which rests along her own pillow before resting on the bed beside. Said female slowly turns over and onto her side, gazing at the boy before her.
"Annolas~" The barely familiar sultry voice causes the nineteen year old to furrow his brows, unable to remember the previous night clearly. Slowly he opens thwem , a silvery blue that seems to produce their own light, in a way, makes a smile appear on the female's face when they turn her direction.
However, that smile soon falters as the hard-headed and playboy of a prince narrows his eyes slightly, taking in the girl's features, and attributes which she allows on full display. A sense of disgust ,dread, and regret pass through the boy, something which always happened after gazing upon his drunken night's conquest. Though, he never makes any open indication of these more painful than not emotions, a smirk appears on his face.
"I'd suggest you leave soon." His hardened and cold voice causes the girl's smile to fall completely, turning into a slight pout complete with pursed lips and batting her eyelids over her exaggerated-in-size orbs. "C'mon, Anno~ you don't want me to go." She trails a fire up his chest, making him shiver in disgust. Though, she takes it as pleasure and grins, moving to straddle the boy laying in only boxers and sweatpants, his way of distancing himself after one of such nights.
The woman, whose name Annolas still has yet to recall, wraps here arms around his neck and begins speaking with what she believes to be a seductive voice, though the prince takes it as demeaning to herself. "Anno... I know you don't have to get up now so why don't you stay in bed with me?"
Annolas sighs and shakes his head, slowly sitting up, "Leave now, or I will call for the guards." Of course the woman doesn't believe, simply adjusting her position on his lap and placing small butterfly kisses against his collar bone. This time he holds back his shudder of disgust and opens his mouth, shouting in a voice as loud and urgent as he can manage, "Guards! There's a crazy woman! GUARDS!"
Within seconds six guards appear in the room. They rush over, two prying off the screaming and protesting woman and dragging her out, one checking the window for break in, two checking on their Prince's well being, and the last searching the room for any others.
"Alright, Ma! Leaving! Girls, hurry up!" Eden called out as he fixed the position of his messenger bag. He heard the loud giggles of the triplets, making him give a small smile as he rolled his eyes. He waited patiently at the frame of his front door, and finally running towards him from the hallway was the three devils, each one of them dressed in their own style and having their own bags corresponding to their colors Eden and their mother have gave them.
Julie was wearing her blonde hair up into high pigtails, two purple ribbons to tie them off. She wore her favorite dress: a simple white dress with a lavender-colored ribbon wrapped around her waist. Juliet was wearing orange, her hair up into a ponytail with a ribbon and she wore black shorts and a orange shirt. Lastly, there was Julia, whose hair was brushed neatly and a ribbon acting like her headband. She wore a simple green summer dress, seeing as it was quite warm out in Sytmer.
"Ready?" Eden asked, smiling at the three. All of them nodded with a resounded 'mm!' Laughing gently, he opened the door and the three girls ran out in front of him, with Eden following closely, making sure to close the door and lock it. Eden started to hum a song, whilst keeping a good eye on the triplets. "Where to first?" he asked.
"I think bread! We've been running out of bread lately!" Juliet called out as she walked ahead of all of them.
"Okay, any other suggestions?" Eden asked as they reached town square in a matter of minutes. Sytmer's town square was quite busy, everyone moving around for the usual Monday grocery shopping since everything is always on sale that day for a limited time and some of them were preparing for the rumored Prince Annolas's visit.
Julie hummed for a moment, then gave a large gasp, "Firewood!"
"I have a checklist,' Julia said, holding out a small piece of notebook paper. "I wrote down everything mama told us to get."
"Thank you, Julia. Alright, stay near me at all times okay?" Eden ordered, looking at the girls' eyes.
"Okay!" they all chimed.
The male smiled, as the large family began to shop for the day.
Annolas breaths out a sigh of relief as all the guards have gone, apologizing to their prince for once again 'allowing' an obsessed woman to sneak in during his slumber. Little did the poor, unsuspecting guards know that it was their dearest prince himself who snuck the women in...
Its then that he walks to his large floor to ceiling window and smiles up at it, pulling the curtains back to all the bright morning sunlight to finally flood in. After his eyes adjust to this, he makes his way over to his wardrobe and gathers within his arms the outfit his mother had bought him especially for today.
Much to the boy's dismay, it has been decided he must choose a partner by the end of a three day period. And it is for that reason he will journey to a farther land of Sytmer. It had shocked him when his father revealed the location he would begin his search, considering Sytmer is known as one of the more impoverished towns in the kingdom. As he'd grown up hearing that princes were to marry princesses, or other women of high society, hearing Sytmer as even a joking suggestionm would shock him...
He sighs one last time, making sure he has the full outfit pain upon his bed before walking to his ensuite bathroom and undressing, smiling as he sinks down into the warm water he closes his eyes and relaxes.
"Hopefully it'll turn our well." He mutters to himself as he begins washing up.
"Alright, before we go let's make sure we have everything," Eden said as he walked over to a nearby park, settling down on a bench whilst holding large bags of various of needed items. Julia handed the male the checklist that their mother had made for them, and Eden began to list them off. "Firewood?"
"Check!"
"Bread?"
"Check!"
And so on...
It took the family a while, but they finally manage to check everything off. Eden grinned as he praised his younger siblings, ruffling their hair. Julie smiled, "So...what next?"
Eden pondered for a moment, "We have some time. Let's go put all the groceries back home, then come back to the park and play alright?" In response, the girls cheered and gathered all the bags they could carry. Eden grinned, picking up all of the other bags with ease, while holding firewood in his arms.
After a wonderfully soothing and calming bath, Annolas dries himself with a towel, wrapping it around his waist as he walks back to his bedroom and begins to dress.((Its the outfit in his picture... Sorry, I'm fairly rushed right now x.x))
Once he's all ready, his hair combed and everything, he exits his room and heads for the massive dining room with occasionally doubles as a conference room. His parents already sit at the head of e table, anticipating their son's arrival with a plate full of various luxury foods beforee his chair.
The young man licks his lips in anticipation for the delicious meal, sitting and eating it quickly before the trio gin for their carriage outside. There was now no time to waste, no time to stall, Annolas would be forced to pick someone to marry.
"Honey, do you know what the prince is doing here in Sytmer?" his mother, Kalia asked as she helped the male with organizing the food and other essentials they needed. Eden glanced over to his mother in the corner of his eye as he was putting the bread away in the pantry.
"No. However, I heard rumors the king has sent his son in hopes of finding somebody to marry," Eden answered as he turned swiftly around to face his mother, who propped her elbows on the counter.
Before the mother can answer, Julie jumped into the conversation, "I bet he'll want to marry me!" she joked, twirling in her dress. "Aren't I pretty?"
Eden and Kalia laughed, "Why of course, Julie. Though, I have to ask...why Sytmer? Certainly, the king isn't looking for somebody poor? I would think he would look for someone noble and close to royalty," Kalia said, humming softly.
Eden shrugged, "I wouldn't know, but I'm gonna take the girls to the park, so we'll be back soon, okay?" the male smiled.
After about an hour in the carriage, Annolas finds himself gazing over at his mother. The woman with dark blonde hair and golden eyes turns to her son with a curious expression, "Yes?" Her voice was hard, emotionless in regards to her own flesh and blood. And while many would find that disheartening, it was just the young Prince's reality. He shakes his head, dismissing her attention as he turns his head to look out the window once more.
The older woman sighs in annoyance before turning her own focus out to the woodland scenery as well. Once he's sure she wouldn't catch him, the sneaky young man turns and looks at his mother's demeanour. She was thin, almost painfully so as her hands lay atop one another, rings practically a child's size gracing her long and slender fingers as proof. Her cheek bones were prominent, made even more so by the contoured makeup lain upon her face by her 'stylist' before they left. Her hair was pulled up into a tight bun, a more modest crown tucked on the top of her head, as she hadn't wanted to seem 'gaudy' when she went to meet the commoners.
Annolas still had no idea why his parents had insisted upon going to Sytmer for his search, but he had no right to question. He once more looks outside, though angles his sights upward to look at the passing clouds and tree tops, the sun being on the other side as to not blind him. He gently closes his eyes and begins to daydream.
Maybe I'll truly fall in love, here... That would be quite amazing.
((So sorry I've taken so long to reply ;-; There's just been a lot going on lately, and I haven't really had the chance nor motivation..))
"Girls, hold up!" Eden cried out as he followed his two sisters, whilst holding one of them on his back. Juliet laughed, using one arm to wrap around her older brother's neck and the other to fistpump the air. Eden sighed as he rolled his eyes, finally reaching the park where the two others have ran off to play on the playground.
"Woo! Go horsey!" Juliet cried as she refused to get off, pointing toward the playground. "Toward the swings!" she called, pulling gently on her older brother's messy hair. The male laughed as he did what he was told, running over there with a neigh nose erupting from his lips. At the sound of that, Juliet broke into laughter. "What was that?" she giggled, jumping onto a tree branch off Eden's back, making him cry out in surprise.
"Juliet, careful!" he scolded, turning to glance up at the girl. She grinned, sticking her tongue out as Eden laughed, however it was cut short when the sound of the kingdom's anthem playing loudly in the distance. Guards were calling out to the civals, screaming at them to go greet their prince. However, they didn't target males, only the females.
Luckily, Eden and his sisters were quite far from the town square so they didn't threaten them...but the triplets wished to see the prince. Juliet jumped down from the low tree branch while the other two ran up to Eden. "Eddie! Let's go see the prince! Pleeease?" Julie cried out, tugging on his hand. Eden looked down and gave a thoughtful look.
"Are you sure...?" he started.
"Pleeease?" the girls pleaded. Reluctantly, the male sighed and nodded.
"Alright. But stay near and don't even try to go near the Prince, alright?"
"Yes sire!" the girls cheered, running toward the large crowd with Eden falling behind.
Annolas groans in frustration as they enter Sytmer. Everywhere he looks, there are nothing but females and the occasional over-protective looking father... None of these women were what he was looking for, though... True, he couldn't exactly put into words what it was he wanted, but... He could picture her.
She would be kind, selfless, caring... And strangely enough, despite how the Prince despises children, she would be a nurturer-the perfect mother. She'd be protective, but not overly so. She'd look past the foolish boy's playboy past and love him for him, rather than obsess over the amount of people with whom he'd shared a bed.
He's pulled from his thoughts of the perfect bride as the carriage stops right before the town square. He lets out one last sigh, earning a glare from his mother who puts on her dazzling smile the moment the carriage doors open, revealing the large mass of golddigging females. Annolas, as well, puts on a fake but convincing smile as he steps out of the carriage and follows his mother up to the large makeshift stage standing right in front of the towering fountain. Now or never... And it never goes the way I want.
Of course, once the prince had set foot outside of the carriage, all the girls held in their sharp gasp at how beautiful the prince looked in real life. Eden had rolled his eyes, but since he wasn't actually keeping an eye out on his three younger siblings, he accidently let them slip and run towards the two royalty. A gasp left Eden's lip once he found out, and he quickly shoved past everybody to reach his sisters.
"Juliet! Julia! Julie! Get back here!" he cried out, however it was too late as the five-year-old girls latched themselves on Prince Annolas, a big grin on their faces. Eden's face paled as he saw guards walking up to them and he quickly dashed to grab two of the girls' arms pulling them back whilst stuttering out an apology. "I'm sorry! I..uh...I'm sorry, please don't hurt my sisters," he said quickly in one breathe, grabbing the last girl's hand and pulling all three of them close to him.
He felt the guard's menacing presence behind him and he heard his sisters whimper in fear. They felt it too. Eden sighed, crouching down and hugging his three sisters, "Sssh, sssh. Don't cry." He cooed gently. He knew all eyes were on him as he tried to calm down the scared girls.
"I-I'm sorry! It's just that...it's the prince and–and!" Julie started, beginning to sob.
Eden gently pulled Julie's head to his chest as he whispered sweet nothings to her. "Sssh, I know. I know. Just don't do that again, okay? It goes for all three of you," he scolded, his eyes switching to each of the girl's brown orbs.
"Yes Eden." They chorused. Eden smiled, and kissed each of their foreheads before standing up and bowing to the Queen and Prince.
"Forgive me and my siblings. We didn't mean to interrupt. We shall get going now," he mumbled.
Annolas had been caught quite off guard as three little girls ran at him and simply clung. He found it slightly amusing, though the glare on his mother's face along with her grunt of disgust showed that she did not share her son's affection for the children... Which really, was quite strange... He supposed it was from the grins on their faces, but he was strangely not completely hating the girls...
His eyes go wide as the guards begin moving in position, along with a boy about his age shouting out three names. After he arrives and pulls the girls away, Annolas frowns at their frightened faces. He then gives the guards all hard looks, "They are children! Innocent children! What do you think you're doing, threatening them like that?!" His eyes then move down to the boy who'd pulled them away and comforted them. Something about the boy seemed to call to Annolas, though he had no idea what...
The Prince reaches forward and gently puts his hand under the boy's chin, gently raising his head to give him a gentle smile, "Hey.. There's nothing of the like to apologize for, okay? Your sisters are young." He then glances down at the three girls once more, allowing his expression to soften farther, "You three will be good for your big brother from here on, won't you?"
The prim and proper Queen sneers at her son's utter lack of respect for his own status. Touching commoners? Comforting them? To her, it all seemed absurd and disgusting, but she wouldn't dare say anything until she and her son were alone.
When the Prince had raised his chin, Eden was locked with beautiful cerulean-colored eyes. He was taken by surprise, seeing as he rarely ever blushed, but he felt his face warm up at the contact. "Thank you," he muttered. He didn't know why he was blushing. He was obviously straight, seeing as he dreamed off a beautiful wife, who would love to have children with him and they would grow up to be a happy family, having not to worry that much.
But that was a fantasy, was it not?
The three girls nodded shyly at Annolas's question, their eyes widen in disbelief that the prince actually talked to them. Well of course he did, they did hug him...
Eden thanked the prince again, urging the three little girls back into the crowd, or more likely back to the park. "To the park, you guys. Let's just go play over there for now okay?" he smiled. The girls cheered and shouldered their way passed the crowds, many of the women grunting in disgust as Eden watched them run off. He took one glance at the Prince before leaving as well.
Annolas finds himself watching after the boy and his sisters, a soft smile on his face. However, he's pulled from his trance right after the boy himself walks away with a last glance toward the Prince himself. His mother grabs onto his ear, pulling him to stand straight once more.
"Oow! Get off, Mom!" Various giggles and snickers are heard about the crowd, but Annolas pays no mind as his thoughts are still focused on the boy, the one whose name he hadn't asked... Why do I care? I'm looking for a wife. He freezes, wondering why his mind had made that distinction... Of course he was looking for a wife, he's straight.. He shakes himself within his mind and smiles as his mother ends her speech on their reason for being there.
"-wife for my son, Prince Annolas Maldor." And he zones out again, realizing what he believed to be the end of her speech was far from it. He begins imagining his perfect life, his perfect wife with their beautiful children. However, about halfway through his fantasy his beautiful wife with piercing green eyes and long brown hair is replaced by the boy from earlier... Though a few years older. The prince furrows his brows and decides to focus again on his mother's speech, hoping it'd help to clear his mind.
"-odd we come to a humble village such as this, but I assure you it is for good reason." And there was the real end... All too soon for Annolas' taste, as he was still imagining the boy's mesmerizing eyes. Before he really knows what's happening, his mother is ushering him back into the carriage, muttering something to her son about journeying to the outskirts of the village and to the home they'd be staying in. Of course, the occupants didn't yet know the Royals would be staying there, but.. None would dare send away their Queen and Prince. Not to mention the woman of the house is one of the Queen's old friends, from before she met the King and discovering her birth right.
As Eden was walking behind the three excited girls who were shouting nonsense about the Prince, he slowed down, realizing his thoughts were swirling around the Prince. His beautiful blue eyes, his milky skin and how close their skin were touching. Without realizing it, Eden's face begin to grow warm, and he had to slap his cheek to stop thinking about them.
"–Eeeeeddie!" Julie's voice snapped him out of his thoughts as the male looks down at the girl who was tugging on his shirt. "I'm ready to head home. We're hungry!" she cried out. Eden laughed, as he picked him up and gestured to the other two.
The girls cheered as they headed home, chanting a small song with Eden singing along. They entered their home laughing, where he found Kalia making them their dinner. She gave a soft laugh at how childish the two were.
"Hello, kiddos. Welcome back. Did you guys see the prince?" she asked, washing her hands and leaning over to kiss Eden's cheek. Eden smiled.
"Yeah. Those three hugged him, actually," he laughed. The girls pouted.
"We said we're sorry! You didn't need to tell mama!" Juliet cried out.
"Actually, you didn't." Eden teased.
"Fine! We're sorry!" Kalia and Eden laughed at the three children.
Kalia smiled, "Alright. Dinner's not done yet so go ahead and play in your guys' room. Eden, mind cleaning up the place a bit?" she asked, turning to her son. He gave her a curt nod as he ushered the girls into their bedroom.
((Mind if Eden's mother is the Queen's old friend? Or would you prefer it to be another family? I'm fine either way x3))
Annolas watches out the window, once more finding himself day dreaming about that boy. He groans in frustration, earning a warning glare from his mother which he simply waves off. Slowly they pull up outside a modest sized house.
"Mother, is this really where we're staying?" It wasn't as though the Prince had any problem with staying in a house so different from the palace he grew up in, but he was simply shocked his very opinionated mother would allow them to stay in such a place...
Of course, as it's the sort of place she grew up in, he could understand it a bit more.
Despite Queen Elana having been born into noble family, as all Queens are, she was kidnapped as a baby. Until her 20th birthday, she knew nothing of her birth right, her true name, her family, or, really... Anything of her true identity. It was in this village she was raised by her kidnappers, brought up as a simple, poor, peasant woman. However, on her 20th birthday, the Lord and Lady of Klingam came for a visit, strange as it may seem. For, why would the couple highest on the pedestal, right below Kings and Queens, visit a lowly town such as this?
Having already been 20 years old, considered an old maid by her peers, Elana decided she would run away to some place new. Though, much to her luck, she ran straight into the carriage belonging to the distinguished family. Quite literally. She was almost trampled by their horses, only saved by the skilled man in charge of their transportation. While Elana was sat on her hands and knees, mud further dirtying her dust-covered rags she was forced to call clothes, apologizing to the Lord, the Lady stepped out and instantly recognized her daughter.
Long story short, the kidnappers were found and hanged for their crimes, as Elana returned to her proper place in high society with her parents. It was not even a full year later she was introduced to Prince Carver. Three months later they were married, and 14 months after that Annolas was born.
"I know it's not our normal abode, son. But you will be polite and accept the hospitality gratefully, understand?" Elana gives her son a harsh look and he nods, "Yes, mother."
Eden was finishing up cleaning up the Ju's toys, placing them in their toy box and making sure everything was not being used was unplugged. While he was straightening the pillows on the couch, he heard the doorbell ring and sighed, hearing the excited shouts of the girls come running down from the stairs.
"Somebody's here! Somebody's here!" Julia cried out, only for her mother to interfere.
"Let Eden open it!" she commanded, and the three girls groaned. "Back to your rooms. Dinner is not done yet," Kalia said, looking at the three.
"Yes Mama." They all chorused as they climbed back up the stairs, however they stayed at the top of the stairs watching curiously as Eden open the door. He made eye contact with three and rose and eyebrow as he opened the door.
"Hello, how may I..." he started, turning his head only to find two guards at the door and Queen Elana and Prince Annolas not far behind them. "–youu....Ma, come here please!" he called out.
"What is it, honey?" Kalia called out as she washed her hands once again from all the sauce and walked over to the front door. She, indeed looked surprised when she found royalty at her front doorstep. However once she met the eyes of her old friend, she smiled. "Elana, what a pleasure to see you," Kalia said, happy to see her old best friend.
Elana smiles happily, pushing effortlessly past the guards before walking forward and wrapping her arms around her old friend. "Kalia! It's been ages!"
Annolas' eyes go wide. He'd never seen his mother initiate a hug between herself and anyone aside from himself and his father... And the fact it was a 'peasant' as she so rudely calls them... Well, that just leaves him standing there like an idiot. His jaw dropped, eyes wide and unblinking, and slightly hunched forward. However, he quickly composes himself as he sees the boy from earlier. He straightens his posture and clears his throat, a blush so light you'd have to be looking for it covers his cheeks. "Well... That's a coincidence." He says with a nervous laugh as he steps forward to the boy.
"It has! How are you? Oh, you disappeared that one day with no letters or anything! You worried me and Brent!" Kalia exclaimed, embracing her friend. "When I heard you were the Queen, I was so happy for you! Though, you have to tell me everything! Absolutely everything!" The brunette exclaimed, making her son looked at weirdly. Never has he seen her act like...this. A female teenager still in highschool.
He then turned to the Prince and he had mirrored his blush, but refuse to acknowledge that he was blushing. "Yeah..." he mumbled, keeping his stance. Eden turned to his mother, who was talking excitedly to Elana. "Come on in," Eden invited, walking so the Queen and Prince can enter. He really hoped that the guards wouldn't be here, or they'll frighten the triplets. "I'll go finish dinner," he was now talking to his mother. "Go ahead and talk. Make yourself comfortable. I finished up cleaning," Eden smiled politely, as he walked toward the kitchen.
"Who's here? Who's here? Mom!" The triplets called out as they ran down the stairs, almost stumbling. However they froze when they saw royalty in their house. "What?"
Elana laughs with her friend before nodding toward Eden, "Your son has been raised well, I see." She then walks toward the living room and sits, "And if I'm going to tell you everything, we'll have to sit down. Especially if you’re still as prone to shock as you were back then." She winks teasingly to her friend.
Annolas slowly walks in, shooing away the guards with a frown... He'd never really liked having them tag along everywhere, it was just annoying... As the girls come running down the stairs, his blush goes away as a bright smile crosses his features. He puts his hands on his hips and quirks an eyebrow at them. "I was coming to make sure you're being good girls for big brother. So, have you?" He never had any younger siblings to tease and pick on playfully, so he figured now would be as good a chance as any... Considering they'd be here for a week...
"Ah, Eden? Yes. He takes after his father," Kalia smiled as Eden began to pick up where Kalia had left off. "Alright, come. Let's sit on the couch~" Kalia urged her best friend over to the living room, with a large smile, having to be reunited with one of her many best friends.
The three girls laughed, "Yeah! We do everything Eddie says, right Eddie?" Juliet called out to her older brother who confirmed it, seeing as he was too focused on his task at hand. "I'm Juliet!" Juliet introduced herself, her hair bouncing. "That's my sissy Julie," she pointed to the said girl, and "Julia! Confusing, huh?" the girls giggled excitedly.
((I'm so sorry this reply has taken so long ;-; I thought I'd replied earlier...))
Elana smiles, "Now... I've a question for you, Kalia." She quirks an eyebrow to her old friend, her tone now more serious than the excited and playful one before.
Annolas chuckles and nods, "Why, it is! How on earth does big brother ever keep the three of you straight?" He chuckles inwardly, already having found the subtle differences between each girl to easily tell them apart. However, as it seemed to amuse them that it would be difficult to remember them all, he makes a 'hmm' noise and strokes an imaginary beard before pointing to Julie, "Now, Julia... Why don't you and Juliet-" Gestures to Julia "-that she should go help big brother while Julie shows me about the house?"
Kalia easily caught the urgency in her best friend's tone as her face twisted in seriousness, the playfulness fading away slightly. "What is it, my dear?" she asked, folding her hands in her lap. "Something wrong?"
"You got it wrong!" Julie cried out. "I'm Julie, that's Julia and that's Juliet!" the girl gestured to the correct girls, making all three of them pout. But they didn't stay whiny for long as they all broke into laughter. "Alrighty!" they all called out, before Julie and Julia ran over to her brother, calling his nickname out in a singsong voice. "Eddie~ Eddie~"
Meanwhile, Eden jumped in surprise at the sudden appearance of two of the three triplets, looking down at them with a smile. He quickly shot the male a "are you serious?" look, sighing as he ordered them nicely what to do.
Juliet, on the other hand, grinned. "Come on! I'll show you around first!" Grabbing the Prince's hand, she began her "magical" tour, she liked to call it.
