I dunno if this should go in the general discussion or personal thread but since I've no clue how this would count as general discussion, I'll just post it here.
Did you ever do something so strange you both hated and loved it at the same time? Half a year ago, I did exactly that.
I'm not an artist, but I draw when I'm bored sometimes, usually ending up with random stuff. I was gonna draw a dog, but the head/neck area somehow got effed and so I ended up doing a duck body for it.
Now, because I was (sort of) proud of my work, I showed it to my classmates. One of them commented: "Is that a...goat...swan?" I just thought: close enough. It's a dog-duck, after all. But later that evening, I presented the same drawing to some online friends and you know what one said? It looked like a goatswan.
So, because I seemed to be outnumbered, I just decided it would be a goatswan.

Again, I was pretty proud of myself because, well, it was cute. And I liked cute things... even after all the goatswans I've drawn ever since (and before), this is still one of my favorites.
Actually, I liked it so much that I started making up stuff about them as a species. Only recently am I starting to put together a document about goatswans, but it's still a work in progress.

Why did I share this? Partly because I'm still finding a place to rp in and wanted to share something in the meanwhile, partly because I wanna ask for stuff to add in the goatswan doc... and I'm in the mood for trying another animal mashup and wanted suggestions.
And lastly, we go back to my first question:
