Just wanted to clarify forum posts, you mean they should be posted by the actual user and not replies from a thread, right?

Yes, you yourself need to make the response. It's not about the amount of responses you receive in a thread that you make.

I'am having simmilar issue. I need to get that offsite section access, but my post counter seem to be stuck. It's been far longer then 15 minutes since. What am I doing wrong? What's the reason behind 10 post limit to start with?

It looks like aside from here, you've only been posting in the Forum Games section, and posts there (as well Private Workshop, PMs/Conversations, and profiles) don't count towards the post count. This one should count as your first, however.
The reasoning behind the 10-post requirement is that we get a lot of spambots and the requirements help filter out the spam. As for offsite, well, we're a roleplaying site, not an advertising site, and we want people to engage with and become part of our community, not just drop and ad and vanish. That said, our suggestion for anyone trying to meet the post count requirements is to drop by the General Discussion and RP Discussion forums and see if there's something going on there you want to comment on.
