Quest RPs

Hey, so I was trying to start a rp and I couldn't decide which category it should be in. Then I saw the quest forum and I read the description. Well, the little that is there, anyway. Could you explain quest rps for me, please?

If you've ever read any Choose-Your-Own-Adventure -type books, it's something like that.  The RP creator writes the story, and invites people to vote on different parts to see where the story goes.  It's rather different from most RPs, where each person involved is playing 1+ characters and the story develops as they interact.
