Centuries before the first human even walked the earth The Vadrigar, a mysterious group of powerful beings, created a place called the Eternal Arena. The Arena was created by the beings just for their entertainment. After its creation the Vadrigar took beings from different times and dimensions and had them compete in the arenas. They bestowed powers onto the warriors of the arena, making them immortal unless competing in a Gladiator fight.
They created three sets of fights in the arena: Free for alls, Team deathmatches and Gladiator fights. In Free for Alls the warriors of the arena are unable to die and fight until they achieve the most "frags" in a given time or until they reach a set amount of frags. Team Deathmatches follow the same premise except there are teams arranged to fight against each other. Finally there are Gladiator fights. Gladiator fights were created as an escape from the arena...death. In a Gladiator Fight the "respawn" is removed and two warriors fight to the death using only their own abilities and skills with the occasional weapon dropped into the arena. The warrior that dies, remains dead and the victor is allowed to live.
In order to maintain order the Champions of the arena guide the many arena events and battles. Warriors are placed in Tiers and through battles or challenges (such as defeating an entire tier), warriors move up and gain privileges. Tournaments are also hosted to see if anyone can climb each Tier and defeat the Champions at the top, however no one has for centuries. To finish, all warriors stay alive so long as they dont die in a Gladiator fight..however if a warrior can not complete a tier 1 battle for an extended amount of time, they are removed from the arena although it is unknown what happens to them.
Welcome to the Arena.
Don't die.
