March 21st marks the start of our Annual Purge. “The New Founding Fathers of America” are encouraging American citizens to “release the beast” for 12 hours of legalized crime. From 7PM to 7AM, the only rules you have are that all weapons above Class 4 are forbidden and any government officals ranking level 10 must be left alone. Anything else is completely at your own discretion.
Display blue baptisias proudly outside your home to support this year’s Purge. ((If nothing else, it may increase your chances of having a quiet Purge night and keep you safe for another year.))

Our RP takes place at 4pm on March 21st, giving your characters 3 whole hours to either sufficiently prep for your night of Purging or to get home safe and have your method of security in place ready for that 7PM announcement. REMEMBER: when you hear the siren, whether you are safe or in danger, the annual Purge has begun.
Once the Purge is in progress, anything goes. Your characters are safe nowhere, not even if you have the best protection available. If you’re out on the streets with fellow Purgers, do not trust them. If you are inside, I’d advise being on high alert throughout the evening, just in case.
