Conversation comes naturally to Jeremy and he has no difficulty talking to strangers and finding topics of discussion. People often say Lillianne inherited her mother’s features, from the high cheekbones to the arch of her eyebrows to the chiselled jaw to the straight-edged nose. Her colouring, however, she got from her father. Expressive hazel eyes matched her naturally tanned skin and the light spattering of freckles across the bridge of her nose. While Lillianne may have naturally dark blonde hair, she regularly dyes it hair dark purple . Lillianne usually pulls her hair into a messy bun or a braid.

At first glance, Lillianne comes off as standoffish, but she’s rather quite the opposite. She’s very affectionate and likes to have constant contact with the people she’s close with. A nudge on the shoulder, a hip check, throwing her arm around a friend’s shoulder or waist, running a hand through a friend’s hair, even a friendly peck on the lips. She constantly checks her phones and likes to leave silly messages to her friends. However, it does take some time before she completely warms up to a person. During weekdays, when she’s not in school and doesn’t have work, she’s usually found either in cafes sketching interesting people that pass by her or skating in a park. During Friday evenings – the couple that run the bookstore often insist she go out – and Saturdays, it is not surprising for Lillianne to switch between being drunk and hungover as she and her roommate like to go to parties and/or bar hopping. Lillianne grew up in Michigan, although she did spend many summers in Germany where her maternal grandparents lived. From a young age, she showed an interest in football, much to the delight of her father, brother and older cousins. The most vivid memories she has of her childhood was playing football in the afternoons with her brother and father.

Despite her interest in football, she actually had no plans of playing professionally, preferring to read and draw instead. When her brother was playing tag-football with his team, they were missing a player and her brother asked her to play which she grudgingly accepted. To her chagrin, her brother’s football team captain took a shine to her and submitted her name for try-outs for the girls’ football team as soon as she entered high school. In spite of her initial protests, she let football take over her life, taking to actual games like a duck to water.

In her junior year, she was named captain and led the team with consecutive wins, completely dominating the field and overcoming obstacles with relative ease. They had no problems wiping the floor with their long-time rivals when they faced them.

After a particularly nasty injury near the start of her senior year, she had to stop playing halfway through the year after she kept aggravating the injury. Suddenly having a lot of time to herself, Lillianne focused on her studies, getting noticeably higher grades. It was during this time that Chemistry caught her interest. When she finally graduated, Lillianne, very much like her brother, jumped at the chance of moving away from home, but instead choosing to stay within the country.

Within a year in New York, Lillianne managed to secure herself a not-too-crazy roommate and a stable job at a small bookshop run by an old couple. However, she began to doubt her choice in major, feeling often swamped with schoolwork. When the first year passed, she managed to take a deep breath and relaxed, no longer feeling as if the devil was on her heels whenever she did coursework. Three years into her major, she is completely at ease with her major and now finds the time to have a decent social life outside her work and school.

Nanook is bold and a great problem solver. He is very expressive with his emotions and can think his way through any situation. Nanook and his younger sister, Nizhoni, were raised by two parents in rural Toksook Bay, Alaska. His mother is originally from the more northern city of Noatak. When he was five, an accident - like one from a movie or perhaps a book - occured that resulted in the death of his baby sister, Saqui. It's probably the only part of his history that he never brings up due to guilt. They moved from the state when he was about seven.

Once they moved inland, they found it hard to find a stable home, causing him and his younger sister to have to stay with his father's relatives in Mexico and then Native relatives in Colorado where they learned more about their cultures. When it comes to his love-life, it's been very casual and he hasn't fallen into any deep relationships, which is fine with him. The woman is probably the most calm person in existence - she does not have a short temper and faces most situations with a positive outlook, or simply does not care for them. This makes her quite amiable, combined with the fact she truly is friendly, finding communicating with people to be a breeze. Being rather absent-minded due to her unwavering relaxed state, she appears like someone not so interesting to discuss serious topic with. However, quite on the contrary, she usually has strong opinions on most matters and actual information to back them up with, seeing as the girl has always possessed the undying thirst for knowledge that children carry with themselves. Additionally, she is very accepting of what other think.

Unfortunately, sometimes her voicing her personal views can result in conflict, taking into consideration the fact that Mira is exceptionally nonchalant with expressing opinions. The woman is blunt to a fault, not holding back on saying what she thinks, which can end up hurting the one her words are directed at. Mira's parents immigrated to the USA, or more specifically to New York, from Israel in the 80s, which is where their three children were born, with Mira being the youngest. Despite growing up in North America, she was very much brought up in a traditional way, which is not to say bad... It's just that her mother and father interpreted it the wrong way, putting too much stress on their children, making them feel obliged to obey and act a certain way, follow whatever their parents had decided for their future. Her brothers were the ones who suffered the most, being older and additionally male, hence forced to fit into a particular stereotype, with her oldest sibling eventually caving in and becoming the spitting image of his father, which Mira is pained about, while her middle sibling came to resent their parents.

In the meanwhile, the girl in the household was let off slightly, which resulted in her becoming more independent and in the end rebelling against her mum and dad's methods of taking care of their offspring. It was during her preteen years and coming out as bisexual that their daily fights began getting intense, and Mira tried her best to spent less and less time at home, thus creating a thriving social life for herself that the woman has managed to retain to this day. During this period, she was residing in a neighborhood that could very well be considered primarily Jewish, and her favorite pastime, besides hanging out with kids her age, was visiting an old man that ran a local coffee shop. It was he that taught her how to brew delicious coffee and most about her culture as well as how to write and speak Hebrew.

It was thanks to him planting the seed of curiosity in her mind that Mira would later go on to do a double major in Hebrew studies as well as Islamic and Middle Eastern studies, receiving her degree at age 23. Currently the girl is on her third major, now jokingly being labeled the "eternal uni student" by her friends. Yet, with her parents having moved back to Israel and refusing to help fund their daughter's education from now on, thinking she is wasting her time with a subject such as Classics, Mira is left fending for herself...

Mira has never been on good terms with her family, them being on the more conservative side while the girl practically strived to be their polar opposite. Once her parents and oldest brother, Zeeb, moved back to Israel, they completely lost contact but for the occasional letter exchange around Christmas, filled with half-hearted wishes and "advice" on her mother and father's side. Her relatives are mere strangers to the woman now, yet she doesn't mind. The sole person she is still close with is her brother Japhet, the middle child of the Bachman family, who suffered the same fate as Mira, being isolated by his own parents.

Jed is the oldest brother of four younger sisters and was always the man of the household. As a young boy, he would run off his mother's boyfriends because they could never fill the void that his father left at the age of three. The rest of his sisters didn't share the same father, but he loved them all the same. He protected them no matter what the situation is. Sometimes he became too protective resulting to scare of the boyfriends of some of his sisters. They would be pissed at this, if he wasn't a really great big brother. The countless tea parties and dress up parties have no bounds to what he owes them.

While in school, he was on the football team and the photography club. Some of his teammates teased at him about being in the arts, but he would ignore them and continue taking magnificent pictures. Jed became accustomed to taking photos of his little sisters in their princess dresses, but he would take the lens elsewhere in life. He took on a hobby of taking pictures of nature, his friends, and random objects that had meaning behind them.

In college, he majored in business and graduated with a bachelors. One step after another, he took it upon himself to create his own business. Jed enjoys photographing families, pets, and women. Especially women. He was quite popular when it came to a lot of attractive girls to come into his office and want pictures from him. Of course, he wasn't naive enough to wonder why they would love to take bikini shots with him. Digging Deeper: History: Bibi's life was something out of a movie...Well, a very twisted movie. Her father and mother were high school sweethearts, marrying right after high school and having Lena a year later.

From what Bibi could tell, they were happy. Her father opening up a sports bar just so he could watch baseball every day without disturbances. Her father manned the kitchen while her mother manned the front of the house. Her parents had been married for a good ten years before everything, in a lack of better words, went to hell.

Turns out her mother and her father's best friend had a thing for each other and decided to marry, therefore divorcing her father and leaving Bibi to care for a drunken man. Her father sold the restaurant and retired to living a life of in a drunken state. Overall her mother got a new family and Bibi got the leftovers.

Being the loner that he is Kye tends to keep to himself. He's not very talkative either, at least when you first meet him. Kye often buries himself in his work as an excuse to skip out on social events. At first glance it may seem as if he hates you... Which actually isn't far off. His view on people in general isn't very high and he has developed a strong dislike for others. Though if you just happen to catch his interest or respect a more friendly side of him will come through... It's not much better but it's something. Your Character’s Life: Personality: Nina puts up a great front to strangers. In this front, she is sharper than a tack, witty, hilarious, and sassy. It's not too far from her personality when one is a friend. However, when one gets very close to Nina, she has elements of this personality along with a true, inner self. Very few know the real her, so you'll have to find out about that.

Background: Nina's dad is older than her mom. He lived in America his whole life in a small town, his parents immigrants from Japan. He met Nina's mom in a small town and the two fell deeply in love. Jesus. Like a rom com, even throughout Nina's life they were so in love it made the kids sick.

Nina grew up with only bits of both her Nigerian and her Japanese heritage, because both of her parents decided to remove their children from it. Not that she was ever really concerned with her Japanese heritage. It felt too personal to her father, whom she ended up despising slowly over the years, for his strong sense of pride led him to rule his household with a heavy hand. Not literally- he never hit them, but the verbal abuse was often overwhelming.

Well, no. He didn't never hit them. One day, it got bad. Really bad. She didn't even remember what her mother had done. Something not worthy, she knew. Nothing can be worthy of her mother being swung at by her father. Nina distinctly remembers her oldest sister, Ahn, screaming like a little girl at 16 years old, and herself, frozen in place, with only the middle sister, Kaya, trying to stop their dad. Thank god he didn't hit her too, or else Nina may have snapped. In what may be an act of cowardice, the girls' mother left that week without taking even a single one of them. Their dad was bitter and distant from then on, only ever talking at them to yell or reprimand them.

A sense of badassery with a dash of class is what Celty wants to emulate with her appearance. Leon is very bold, practical, direct, and perceptive. Filled with energy and curiosity, he is very open-minded and loves trying new things, often following his heart rather than his mind. He lives in the moment and tries not to worry about the consequences unless it is necessary. He walks with an air of confidence and has a natural charm, finding it very easy to talk to new people. He is good at filling the silence and making people feel comfortable around him, as the attentive look he gives the person he is conversing with makes them feel like they are the only person in the room.

Furthermore, Leo is very observant and detail-oriented, often noticing the slightest changes in a person's habits or appearances. This intuitive attention to detail extends over to other patterns and customs in his daily life, allowing him to detect what needs to be changed and make connections with others. Straightforward and upfront with him thoughts, Leo is not afraid of confrontation and prefers to communicate clearly with others.

Leo was born into a middle-class family with a loving mother, who immigrated to America from Germany for college. His biological father, however, was never in the picture, as his parents were never married and his father broke up with his mother when he found out that she was pregnant. However, this was never a big issue, as he and his mother fared quite well on their own, but he has always harbored a deep-seated hatred towards the father who abandoned his mother. His mother worked very hard to put food on the table and a roof over their heads, working as a computer analyst.

When Leo was still a child, his mother began dating an Italian coworker, and the couple was head over heels for each other. He was a kind, gentle, hardworking man, the complete opposite of his biological father. A few years later, when Leo was 6, they were happily married. His mother's new husband indeed treated and loved Leo like his very own son, always playing soccer with him and helping him with his homework.

Six happy years had passed when Aiden's mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. This caused a huge emotional strain on the family, as they were often spending most of their days at the hospital. After a hard-fought year, when he was 13, his mother passed away in the hospital bed. When he reached high school, he indulged himself in drinking, partying, hooking up, and smoking in order to move on. Although these methods worked temporarily, only the support of his stepfather and close friends succeeded in helping his emotional turmoils subside.

Background: Ashton had been born and raised in New York. His parents loved the city so much that they decided to move there a year before Ashton was born. The city was the symbol of mystery and excitement for them, they truly loved the atmosphere hanging around in the city and made their son feel the same way about it. Of course they would go on vacation somewhere else as to explore the world, it was also their job to travel around the world. His father was a photographer and his mother was a painter of landscapes. They both had magical touches in their hands and it seemed like it passed on to their son who got into the drawing business later on.

His early years went by like it was nothing, his parents took him everywhere with them whenever they could, however there were also times that he needed to stay with his grandparents who also lived in New York. He had seen several difficult countries in all the world parts. It was something that not everybody could say about what they had already done on such a young age. But it became less and less as he had to go to school and he could not afford to skip classes as much anymore as he was not exactly the most intelligent kid that walked around. He as well had to study for his tests in order to not fail them.

His true passion for drawing appeared when he was a senior in high school. He had a project with other classmates which was making a cartoon on paper for their teacher. He and somebody else were in charge of drawing while the others put in the details and the story-line was something they came up with together. The time he had spent on that project was one of his happiest as he was absorbed in his work, dedicating his all to it and made it into a beautiful end result. Eventually he went to a college where he could work on his drawing skills for three years and once he graduated he immediately went into the manga industry. He was now one of the most known manga writers.

Gil is rather short for a guy, and this is one of the things that causes the man a lot of anxiety. He is quite self-conscious about how short he is and will attempt anything to make himself appear even an inch taller, even having resolved to wearing heels in the past, though that was a short-lived phase since it hurt his feet more than it did its hoped job. Nowadays, the most he relies on is his posture being as straight as possible as well as having even shorter friends, so as not to feel alone in his turmoil and have someone to look down at.

Gil has always been on the healthy side of things, possessing a small, yet obviously balanced frame. He might not be the fittest person out there, however. As a matter of fact, the man accentuates a lot more on a right diet than on exercise.

There is a common misconception that albinos have red eyes and, despite the fact that Gil takes pleasure in telling this hoax to some naive and uniformed individuals as a joke, his eyes simply lack pigment, leading to them being a striking and heavily saturated shade of blue. The sole occasion on which they appear to be reddish is when light hits them under a certain angle or in photographs.

As an albino, Gil lacks pigmentation in his eyes, as already mentioned, hair and skin. He takes pride in the fact that his locks are a snowy white, this aspect being a secret feather in his cap that he cherishes. However, his skin condition does cause him problems, seeing as the man is intensely sensitive to UV radiation and more prone to skin diseases and sunburns. Applying sun-cream and wearing hats with a wide brim is a routine for Gil.

Eyewear

As an albino, Gil was born with exceptionally bad sight. Hence, he resolves to wearing glasses with a high prescription and contact lenses of the same kind on other weeks he feels like it. He would essentially be blind as a mole without them to allow him to see the world at least a bit clearer, though, truth be told, some colors still blur around him on a daily basis. Yet, Gil has become accustomed to such instances and has even come to enjoy them, the events reminiscent of Impressionism in art. Additionally, his glasses are photosensitive due to the man being very susceptible to sun-rays.

Gil has always been very straight-edge, earning him some mockery from strangers and even friends. This is partially due to his upbringing, his parents careful to teach him morals that involve staying wary of any such sides of life, though, more so, he simply has an intolerance for cigarettes and cigarette smoke in general. As a matter of fact, anything that involves rice is instantaneously mouth-watering in his eyes.

The man is not picky with his drinks and doesn't particularly care for them. On some days he goes without drinking anything out of forgetfulness, watering his plants, yet overlooking to stay hydrated himself. However, it is true he has a soft-spot for peach ice-tea.

Pastels are Gil's favorite colors and that is quite painstakingly obvious in the manner the man carries himself. His wardrobe consists mainly, if not only, on such hues, seeing as they are not only aesthetically pleasing but also easy on his weary weak eyes. Gil is someone on the softer, more emotional side of things, despite the fact that he rarely expresses emotion. As a matter of fact, on the inside, the man is an individual with high perceptiveness that notices beauty in anything and appreciates life for it's wonders. He additionally takes inspiration from it, which he uses for projects in his own art - that of botany and gardening. Gil is someone with a keen eye for detail and an artistic, inventive mind. Paying attention to the little things is where his strength lies, taking the time to make everything just right. This carefulness shines through in his behavior towards others as well, the man being exceptionally considerable and putting their well-being before his, shying away if he feels like a hindrance.

The issue surfaces once one realizes that he perceives himself as an obstacle most of the time, thus consciously choosing to stay invisible almost always. Gil is overly timid and, to make matters worse, very indecisive, unable to express his opinion unless he is with someone close that shares his views. Getting into debates is something he does not fancy in the least. He has bigger worries on his mind -- like making everything perfect his garden. Gil has lead a very average life. He came from a middle-class family and grew up in Ohio, surrounded by people that loved him unconditionally. He never got picked on at school and seemed to be on good terms with everyone - a feat few can brag of.

Yet, he still became a recluse. There were no apparent issues in his life - no bullying or problems at home - yet the boy felt that something was wrong. His discomfort began in middle school when he realized how different he was to everyone appearance-wise. White hair, milky-white skin, almost transparent eyes. He felt himself standing out, being watched constantly and judged. Of course, that last detail was an illusion on his part, seeing as he had done nothing to deserve criticism. Nevertheless, the boy shied away and became a shadow in the classroom, possessing almost no social life. In those days of self-forced loneliness, Gil had only the flowers in his garden as company. In retrospect, he is not sorry that he became that closed in at the time, since it was thanks to gazing deep into his being that he found his calling and true passion.

Once he knew he wanted to major in Botany, he completely dropped any remaining friends he had and focused on studying, wanting to became better faster. By the time his years as a senior in high school rolled in, only a handful even knew he existed.

Yet, all that was worth it. He left his small home town as soon as the summer after his graduation came by, wanting to get accustomed to New York. Saying goodbye to his parents and adored little sister was a tough departure, yet in the end now he has found himself among people that share the same ideas and hobbies he has, feeling understood for once.

Yet, he finds it hard to combat his worries.

Personality: Felix has a loud personality that can't be overlooked, missed, or forgotten. He's a bit of an intense extrovert, which annoys many people. If he knows he annoys anyone, he's extremely repentant. In fact, often when he begins to rant about things he's passionate about, he stops, laughs nervously, and says "sorry, you don't care," or "sorry, I know I'm annoying," because he's been told he's annoying many times. Despite this, he's kind as can be unless he has justifiable reason not to be. He's eager to please and tries to make everyone laugh. He feels intensely and falls for people too easily, though he knows that it won't last most of the time because his heart has yet to glow around anyone.

Background: Felix grew up as an only child in Scotland for the first few years of his life, then, when he was about 5, their family moved to America. It was all relatively cookie cutter, and he'd never complain about the life he has, the loving parents. He can't even complain about the emptiness, the fear ever since he was 14 that he'll never find his soul mate, the... anything. He thinks that he doesn't have the right to complain, because his parents never fought his whole life, he was only very mildly bullied, and he's never had to struggle to have money enough to live. Not that he gets mad at people who complain and fit this criteria, but he feels personally that he shouldn't.

Background: Elias had been raised in Asia with his biological parents however life was not as easy for them as they were not the richest people in town. They could barely pay off the rent of their house and bought just enough food to feed them for the week. It was a life that nobody really wanted but it was not his choice, none of them. His parents had given him an English name as they always wanted to go to America, having dreamt about it before and had set their goals on it. Yet that dream only went further and further away as they got into more debt as time passed by and eventually they could not handle it anymore. They lost their house so they had to go live with his grandparents in order to survive.

It went a little better but the grandparents were already old and they passed away soon after. Elias was 10 when his grandmother passed away and 11 for his grandfather. They were back at start since they did not have enough income anymore again and had to take on multiple jobs. The biggest blow to his face was when his parents died when they were coming back home from work, a truck driver crashed right into them as he was talking to his cell phone. He had not seen them coming. They died instantly. Elias was forced to go to a foster home where he waited for someone to take him in, as if he was some kind of dog. He did not like the idea at all and refused to go with any of them because of the way they acted around him. That was until he met Declan and Daisy Cleveland who were from America and were there for their job.

They had been interested in adopting a child before but never felt a click until they saw Elias. He too, felt something that he missed after the 4 years that he was in the foster home. He was seventeen then when they adopted him and got the family name Cleveland. He oddly got along with his new brother and the other family members, though he had been scared that he would forget his biological parents. However that did not happen as they were sealed into his heart. He already made the dream come true of coming to live in America and he even went as far as to become an actor which his mother was striving for. Because of his passion, it made it easier for him to adopt to this new environment.
