"You would, wouldn't you?" Max said as she let out a shaky, nervous chuckle. "We need to patch you up, but if I let go of your soul gem the pain will return." Max frowned and looked at her armor. "My armor's leather, so we could use it to cover the wounds, if we had some way to bind them."

Tsubaki sighed, nodding. "I mean my armor was leather." She glanced to her wounded arm. "Can we even pull it apart? I kind of only have use of my left hand right now. Severed muscles and all that good stuff."

Max nodded and pulled out one of her knives. "Cut it. I mean, it'll regrow, right?" She began cutting at the arm that was holding the soul gem before getting off a piece of leather. She held it up to one of the wounds and placed it over. "Now we just need a way to bind it on..." @KageYuuki

Tsubaki shifted slightly and winced. "I mean there's my belt, but I only have one so I'm not sure how much help it's going to be." She took a slow breath, considerably more calm with the pain no longer an issue for the time being.

" i dont wanna talk about boys or girls. That is just weird. " yui says pulling out a futon guest bed out for katja to use. "I think my mom has something for you to wear for night clothes. Give me a minute and i will get it." Yui comes back with a couple things for katja to wear for bed.

" Perhaps i don't see what is weird about it though" Katja said interested in why the what she assumed normal questions for Yui's mom didn't come. While Katja hadn't ever had a sleep over she had watched TV while in the hospital with her father so from sitcoms she had expected a certain line of questioning.

" Your mother is very accepting of just letting someone stay in your house with no assurance of permission" Katja said phased though seemingly for once interested is something rather than simply observing it.

"Hmm... your belt." Max sighed as she looked at her armor. It's gonna take awhile for it to regenerate this... Max began awkwardly cutting at her chest. "The five wounds in your torso are close enough together that a chunk from my chest armor should be enough to cover that. We only have your belt to use, so the covering needs to be big enough to cover it all. We'll just cover your arm and deal with it when we get back to your house." Max awkwardly cut for a few minutes before finally a suitably sized piece of her armor came off. Though, it slipped Max's mind that when you go magical girl, your other clothes kind of...

disappear?

"Shit!" Max said, covering her... chest before groaning. "Screw it, no time!" She quickly put the piece of her armor over Tsubaki's wounds and began wrapping the belt around it to secure it in place. I feel like I'm forgetting something...

While Max worked on cutting off a piece of her armor, Tsubaki carefully pushed herself up so she could better bandage the wounds. Or cover them . . . whichever it was. She didn't really care right now. To be honest, Tsubaki wasn't even all that sure how she was even still conscious right now. Was it something with being a magical girl? Or is she unconscious and this is some weird kind of dream? The sudden shout from Max succeeded in catching her attention and her gaze snapped back up towards her.

...

The last thing Tsubaki had thought to see was the rather sudden appearance of . . . a rather bare chest. She helped hold the makeshift bandage in place before lightly clearing her throat. "Would have thought we'd still have another piece of cloth or something under our armor." Max wasn't the only one in armor and Tsubaki figured she was in the same boat in regards to clothing beneath said armor.

"Kinda slipped my mind." Max went to cover her chest before quickly stopping. She had almost taken her hand off of Tsubaki's soul gem, which wouldn't have been a pleasant experience. "I may have cut it. Cutting with one hand is kinda sloppy." She looked and sighed. "Well, nothing left to do. We need to head back to your place for proper supplies. We're gonna need to exit slipspace at the same time so I don't lose contact with your soul gem. Ready?"

Tsubaki hesitated slightly. Their battle had taken place in the middle of the road. Exiting slipspace would likely cause a bit of a stir to say the least. And that wasn't even taking her injuries into consideration. Let alone Max's uncooperative wardrobe. "Erm . . . it might be best if we get closer to my place. Or . . . maybe at least out of the road?" She touched the hand that Max had against her soul gem with her right hand. She may have lost use of her hand, but Tsubaki could still move that arm relatively alright.

Max considered for a moment before snapping her fingers. "Right you are. Unfortunately, walking's going to be very awkward. Plus my... wardrobe." She sighed. "But if it means we aren't run over by a car or spotted by some soon-to-be traumatized bystander, then I suppose you're right." Max stood up and offered her a hand. "Lucky we aren't that far away."

Tsubaki accepted her hand, carefully standing. She was a little unsteady at first, but managed to gain her footing well enough. Walking may be interesting, but only time will tell for that one. "I should be able to keep the bandage from falling off, hopefully that makes things a little easier for us." Likely not, but that didn't stop her from offering.

Max considered. "Well, your wrist is still bleeding, but that shouldn't be a big problem. We technically don't even need to patch up your torso, but that makes things much easier when we exit slipspace. You should be fine with your wrist. So if you can prevent the bandage from falling off, things would be a bit easier."

Tsubaki nodded, keeping her good hand against the bandage. "It would be great if these stopped bleeding already." She hesitated, a realization creeping into her mind. "Won't the armor you used as a bandage disappear once we leave slip space? Or do you think it's just going to be a part of your shirt?" Forward progress was slow to say the least. The few blocks they had ran to take on the Yoma wasn't going to be crossed as quickly as before.

Max sighed. "It'll disappear, yes. But, thanks to the speed of magical girl healing, the blood will hopefully have clotted by the time we make it back. If not, it'll at least be progress." She sighed as they continued. "One hell of a sleep over, right? This is how girl's night should be spent, I think."

"She probably shocked i have a friend come here to see me. That she just allowing you to stay here. Idk. Beware my brother likes to prank people." Yui thinks while she brushes her hair out. "What you think about tsubaki and max as msgical girls? I think that tsubaki has alot untold potential as one. "

Tsubaki snorted, wincing as she quickly regretted the action. "I don't know . . . I think I prefer a strong drink and some video games or something." She pondered her last statement for a moment. "Hey, you think alcohol would effect a magical girl differently?" At this point nearly any topic was better than the near death experience. "Granted, I probably shouldn't be drinking with holes through my gut."

Or . . . she could right back to it.

"It doesn't," Max said very matter of factly. "But it still tastes all the same, so it has that going for it." Progress was slow, but it had seemed the awkwardness had mostly warn off... emotionally, anyway. Max snapped, almost having forgotten something, and turned her shoulder and reached behind her. Soon the four grief seeds that dropped from the Yoma flew into her hand as she fit that into her pocket. "That would've been a HUGE waste to forget."

Tsubaki blinked as Max pulled the grief seeds over to her from the slain Yoma. "Yeah . . . that would have sucked just a little bit." She joked, a slight smile on her lips. Chuckling at the moment didn't really hurt, but it just felt strange to say the least. They both fell silent once again as the slowly made their way back to Tsubaki's home. A thought tugged at the back of her mind, but it could wait until they made it back.

Silence befell the group as they walked. Max thought up small talk, looking around. "It's strange, isn't it? Even at night, there's always white noise. We've become so attuned to it, you don't even notice. But without any people... it's so weird to be hearing true silence."

" I thought you didn't want to talk about girls" Katja said making an attempt at a joke, though her flat delivery left a lot to be desired more than likely. " Max has the knowledge of Kyubey with what he has done she could do a lot both for magical girls and for humans, Tsubaki i can tell can do more than she thinks, i doubt her power ends at simply cutting things, likely she can cut a lot more if she believes she can" Katja said though that was just an assessment of them based on their power and wishes " You to likely can do a lot more than you let on the ability over water is powerful" Katja said making and attempt at a complement.

Tsubaki nodded, "Yeah, I've never been a fan of silence. I always have to have music or something on in the background." She managed a bit of a chuckle, "If I'm not listening to music at some point during the day then something's definitely wrong."

Silence reigned for a few seconds before Max started humming musically. She didn't know what she was humming, but just completely impromptu. She hummed loudly, creating a form of background music.

A faint smile played across Tsubaki's lips. It took her a moment, but she was able to figure out the melody well enough to follow along. Sure, she fell away from the melody on more than one occasion. But it was an improvised melody so you had to at least give the girl credit for trying. After a long walk, the pair finally reached the tower that Tsubaki's apartment resided in.

Max and Tsubaki approached the apartment. "Well, elevators don't work in slipspace, which means we have three options: A. Go in, exit slipspace, use an elevator, and risk being caught. If seen, your excessive bleeding could cause panic and get the paramedics involved, which would not be good. B. We walk up the stairs. I won't be able to focus on blocking your pain if we do that, as supporting you will be too much, so the pain will be greater. Not agonizing or anything, but it will sting like a bitch. Or C. I carry you. I'm pretty sure I can support you, and you shouldn't feel too much pain. Only problem is," she pointed at her bare chest. "So you decide if you're like... emotionally ready for that or whatever. Your choice on which option."
