Crimson eyes snapped open the moment Arashi hit the ground nearby. Tsubaki bolted upright, feeling the Yoma nearby. When'd I fall asleep?! She pushed herself to her feet, looking quickly between the unconscious girl and the approaching Yoma. More importantly than falling asleep, why hadn't she sensed such a nearby Yoma until just now? Where Yoma changing to be able to hide themselves from the magical girls?


Tsubaki shook her head before darting over to Arashi's unconscious form. That didn't matter right now, stopping someone from being killed was a higher priority. And from the looks of it another girl was on the Yoma's tail, albeit a rather unfamiliar face. Without giving the girl a second glance, Tsubaki draped Arashi over her shoulders and ran. They needed to find some kind of place to hide and look at the girl's injuries. Maybe there was something she could do. At the very least she could keep the Yoma away from Arashi until she woke back up.

 

[Kazehana]

The yoma didn't like that its prey had been taken away. Ignoring the other magical girl, it hurtled after Tsubaki, somehow fueled by the need to catch them (like catching her children). Along the way, it took large, lumbering swipes and even tried to corner them a few times, but it wasn't that good on the fly. But it kept on trying.

 

[Lil Shirou]

Yui arrive seeing the yoma attacking tsubaki. She launches ice shards at the yoma to try to grab the yoma atttention. " over here yoma. Want to fight then fight with me." As yui launches another volley of ice shards shreding some of the branches of the yoma tree.

The yoma literally did not care and continued pursuing its target

Tsubaki gave a low growl, glancing over her shoulder at the Yoma. "How the hell is a tree almost as fast as I am?" It being a Yoma did little to make it any less strange. The creature's swipes were coming a little too close for comfort and Tsubaki knew she didn't have the experience to fight while carrying someone. Now what? The moment I put her down this thing'll go for her.

 

[Karcen]

Katja had been held back as she had received a very interesting visit from Kyubey and some very odd orders from her boss. She was not one to disobey so should what kyubey demand need to be done she would, with out hesitation. He had also told her of the battle raging with a tree like Yoma, a precursor to what was coming though it was nothing compared to the real tree. Katja quickly changed into slip space after being told where to go and soon enough arrived at the battle. She had in truth watched from just after Arashi had fainted but had held back, she had noticed she was getting involved it was almost like she cared, that was impossible still the distance between her and them had closed, that was not a good thing. She had debated simply leaving, but likely the wrong people would die.


" Chung Freya" She said and the two appeared, the gunslinger and the archer looked silently upon the Yoma " Incendiary projectiles, full power " She said and that was all the two servants needed. Freya's bow grew to a massive great bow and she unleashed an arrow that was more like a flaming javelin while Chung pulled out what looked like the gun of a tank and fired a power explosive shot. The two shots struck home and ignited the tree like Yoma, while Katja focused on opening rift after rift to stop the Yoma from attacking, she missed some but this wasn't a battle it was a show of power from her to the target.

 

[Lil Shirou]

Yui wave rides next to tsubaki. "Hey tsubaki. Hand me arashi and i will protect her. So you dont have to run anymore." Yui tries to get closer to tsubaki for a pick up attempt.

 

[KageYuuki]

Tsubaki glanced over at Yui, studying her for a moment. "How powerful of a shield can you make? I don't think even you could outrun this thing." Needless to say Tsubaki was also concerned that Arashi hadn't stirred since she scooped her up and started running.

 

[Lil Shirou]

"Well it more of a matter of time to build a powerful barrier. Quick barriers like the one i did yesterday arent very strong unless i fuel it with more energy. I need atleast a minute though and i could put up a new barrier that combines water with ice. Can you and katja protect us that long?"

 

[KageYuuki]

Tsubaki gave a short nod, skidding to a stop. Even with her increased speed and stamina, running while carrying someone nearly the same size as you was far from a simple task. Sweat was already dripping from her face as she breathed heavily. "I'll need to be inside the barrier once you get it up though. Just long enough to check her injuries." The girl carefully laid Arashi's limp form on the grass before turning and drawing her sword. "Fine, if this thing wants to play rough, let's give it want it wants then."

 

[Lil Shirou]

Yui concentrate on the form of the barrier. Unlike the others this one took alot of energy up front. First layer being ice. She forms it in a high density layer. Second layer was water to act like a shock absorber. It was filled with her magical energy. Third was a final layer of ice to seal it all in. As yui finish she notice arashi soul gem being almost black. "Tsubaki i am almost finish jump through the hatch at the top before i seal it off. Also her soul gem almost black ."

 

[Karcen]

Katja watched half distracted by the Yoma, who was taking serious damage from her servants, who knew a tree was weak to fire. Still she did have some business with Arashi, kyubey wanted to talk to her, without the other girls around. Why he woudl want to do so she didn't know but she could take a guess it had something to do with max after all even Katja knew Arashi hated him and he found her as an annoyance so speaking with her would likely be a rare event. Still orders were orders, she would have to gather up the girl them quickly use her rifts to move to a private location and hope that the other dimension wouldn't kill her.


Katja opened a rift and appeared in the ice dome " I will be taking her" Katja said pointing to Arashi [/b]" She stated not as an idea or suggestion, but as a matter of fact.

 

[Lil Shirou]

"Katja her soulgem is almost black it needs to be purify first." Yui didnt understand why katja wanted to take arashi away she already was protected by her barrier. She also hated she use all that energy for nothing if arashi was leaving. Yui own soulgem was about half full now from yesterday and todays barriers.

 

[Karcen]

" i have plenty she can have them latter " Katja said moving towards the sleeping girl and starting to pick her up, if her soul gem was dark it didn't matter to Katja, what mattered was her orders. " You three can handle the Yoma we have something else we need to do." Katja said as she finished getting arashi situated and opened a rift.

 

[KageYuuki]

At Yui's signal, Tsubaki turned and leapt into the barrier. Sheathing her sword, she knelt beside Arashi checking her pulse and breathing. A steady if not faint pulse drummed against her fingers accompanied by the rise and fall of Arashi's chest. Tsubaki let out a breath she didn't realize she was holding. "The soul gem must be why she hasn't recovered yet." She murmured, carefully taking Arashi's soul gem in her hand. The dark, clouded gem felt cold in her grasp. Taking the last grief seed from that morning's battle, Tsubaki pressed it against the clouded soul gem.


Her gaze snapped up the moment Katja appeared inside the barrier. "Like hell you're taking her right now," Tsubaki didn't mean for her tone to be so harsh, but Katja was acting stranger than normal. "I don't think she's in any shape to be bounced around anymore. So put her down and go focus on helping whatever girl's outside on taking care of the Yoma." Tsubaki's tone was different from how it had been any other time she'd been working with the girls. No longer carrying a joking or laid back tone, her voice had become stern and commanding. "I'll be out to help once Arashi's woke up."

 

[Assailant]

Max frowned as she looked at the barrier and the Yoma. She noticed she was standing in a weird spot. Wait, when did the others get here? Did I just forget the last few minutes of the battle? That sucks. But now I remember how to insta-kill the Yoma! It sucks... Max jumped on top of the barrier. "Hey, you girls need some help?" Max asked, enjoying her flashy entry. This was the first time any of them would know she's a magical girl, so what a way to make an intro! Then she noticed Katja's behavior and frowned. Nonetheless, she had no time to think about it. She used her telekinesis to shoot four knives at the tree.

 

[Lil Shirou]

Not only did yui notice Max but so did the yoma. The yoma lashes out at max using it vines, but before the vines reach max. Yui jumps in front of her. Taking the hit as best she could. " what are you thinking max? Flashy enter are for the foolish. "

 

[Assailant]

"Oh come on!" Max said, jumping down from the barrier and thrusting four knives that had been levitating above the Yoma down onto it. "Let me just have one!"

 

[Lil Shirou]

Yui thinks as she undoes part of the barrier beneath max and her feet allowing them to slip into the barrier themselves. "Tsubaki with her soul gem clear there isnt isnt anything we can do. I am sure katja will take care of her. I need you and max now." The picks up the attacks while yui talks. Putting cracks on the outside of the barrier. " what is your decision? "

[Assailant]

Max sighed as she fell in. Can I get ONE attack in before another magical girl interrupts me? Max examines the Yoma. Except for the fact that it's tree type. It is gonna have a weakness to Fire magic, but resistance against physical attacks. My knives will hardly do anything until someone else gets a chink in its armor. But, my light weapons, telekinetic powers, intellect, and my training and predisposition makes me a difficult target to hit. I can act as a nuisance and a distraction for the Yoma while the other girls get some hits in. Meanwhile, I need to hit with precision. If I can get repeated hits between the bark, I might be able to chip off some of its natural armor. If I do that, it'll be vulnerable. A few more hits there and then it will die. Max cracks her knuckles and makes some of the blades outside disappear. Five blades appear behind her back as they circle around the small of her back. "Ready."

 

[Karcen]

Katja's servants continued to bombard the Yoma no doubt dealing damage with their flaming shots, though Freya was doing more damage than Chung given his slow reload time she would need a better system for him with his big guns.


" Hand over the soul gem" Katja said looking to Tsubaki her words an order not a request " She is needed else where at once for an emergency meeting, do not make me use force She said her way of saying things implying that this would not be the first time she may have had to strike down another magical girl.

 

[Assailant]

Max looked over at Katja and frowned, becoming increasingly suspicious. "Katja, just tell Tsubaki WHY you need her and I'm sure she'll calm down. It isn't that hard, no need to kill someone over it," Max said, diverting her attention between the Yoma and Katja.

 

[Kazehana]

Arashi's energy slightly restored thanks to Tsubaki, her eyes flittered open. She was rather disoriented as she hadn't had the chance to catch up on the events leading her up to this point. Looking around, she tried to soak in all she could. "Who are you? Where is my soul gem?" she asked, slowly coming back from her previous coma. It was easy to tell that it was no longer on her person, and she needed to get it back. If it got too far, she might be screwed.

 

[Karcen]

" Tsubaki has your soul gem, you will come with me I have been sent to fetch you " Katja said though she might reveal who sent her by the fact only one person could command her and she would follow though without question. " There is a pressing matter that requires your attention" She said ever emotionless though Katja did suspect one other person in the room knew what the matter was.

Other than shooting Katja a cold look, Tsubaki turned her attention back to Arashi. "Hey, welcome back." She pressed the purified soul gem back into the dazed girl's grasp before closing her hand around it. "Take it easy, that thing launched you clear across the park." She managed a slight smile, "Name's Tsubaki."
