Personality \\
The very definition of an extrovert, Elena is rarely seen without a sunny smile. She is friendly and naturally charismatic, so it is little wonder that she has many friends at school. At the same time, she lacks caution toward other magical girls, as she believes all magical girls should work together as allies. When hunting Witches, she displays a strong sense of duty and unwavering determination. For some reason, she is doubly intent on finding the Witch for her upcoming hunt.

Backstory \\
There is little to say about Elena's life besides the fact that she has a privileged life. Born into an upper-middle class family with loving parents, she never wants for food, shelter, or a good education. In fact, she only became a magical girl because ɘʀᏒ๏r̴̖̓̍̇͊͝ ̷̢͔͚̻̯͗̅͜ ę̸͍̥̱̜͕̼̊͆̀̅̽́̈́ཞཞðr. Now with a year’s experience under her belt, she continues to strive to make the world a place where people won’t lose their loved ones to Witches.

Powers & Weapon \\
“I wish I was strong enough to ¿¿¿“

Elena uses a cutlass as her weapon. She is most adept at melee combat, though she is capable of producing blasts of magic with her cutlass against larger enemies or for ranged combat. As observed by Kyubey, Elena's wish seems to have granted her strength and speed that is superior to the average magical girl. Her Soul Gem also darkens at a slower rate than usual.

Personality \\
In stark contrast to Elena, her long time friend, Marina is demure and quiet. Though by no means shy, she isn't one to actively make friends. Having only contracted several weeks ago, Marina makes up for her lack of experience with her sharp wits. Unlike most new contractees, Marina is wary of other magical girls but will be politely reserved for Elena’s sake.

Backstory \\
Due to an immunodeficiency disorder, Marina spent much of her days going in and out of the hospital until just recently. Coupled with overprotective parents, she had few friends to speak of. Elena is one such friend, and one whom Marina treasures dearly. When Marina found out about the existence of magical girls, she was hesitant to contract, but nonetheless helped Elena by creating cover stories for her frequent disappearances. She eventually contracted after being caught alone in a Witch’s labyrinth and now fights as Elena’s partner.

Writing was Marina’s sole company for much of her time in the hospital, so it seems only fitting that her weapon is an ornate fountain pen. With a simple wave of the pen, Marina can conjure anything from a protective barrier to a flurry of magical beams to rain down on her enemies. Her imagination and magical stamina are the only limitations. While her physical abilities are on par with the average magical girl, she is several times more durable.
